Dodgers non-tendered RHP Ronald Belisario.
It's a surprise, as the Dodgers of all teams could have afforded to keep Belisario in his first year of arbitration. The 30-year-old has put up a 3.24 ERA over the last two seasons while striking out 118 across 139 frames. He won't have trouble netting a middle relief gig somewhere.

Ronald Belisario has been kicked off his Venezuelan Winter League team for disciplinary reasons.
Belisario requested a personal leave of absence, according to the Los Angeles Times, and then did not return when scheduled. It's a troubling story given the 29-year-old right-hander's past issues with cocaine, but for now it won't affect his status with the Dodgers. Belisario posted a superb 2.54 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 69/29 K/BB ratio across 71 innings of relief in 2012.

Tue May 1 201222:50Ronald Belisario no lock to join Dodgers pen
Ronald Belisario is eligible to be activated from the restricted list Friday, but it's not a sure thing that he will be.
Belisario is serving a 25-game suspension for violating MLB's drug program. The Dodgers like him as a one-inning reliever, but right now they need someone that can go multiple innings. "He likes to let it fly for one inning," pitching coach Rick Honeycutt said. "When he's on, he can be dominant, but that's 20 pitches or less, and after that, his stuff changes." Belisario is out of options, so he'd have to pass through waivers if the Dodgers try to send him to the minors.
