Los Angeles Angels infielder
Luis Rengifo (elbow) is listed as day-to-day with a right elbow contusion after he was hit by a pitch on his right elbow in the second inning of the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Oakland Athletics. Rengifo was also out of the lineup on Sunday, but the injury isn't considered serious. The 25-year-old has played in just six games for the Angels in the first half of the season, going 4-for-14 with no home runs, no RBI and three runs scored in 17 plate appearances. Rengifo shouldn't be out for long, but he just doesn't play enough to warrant fantasy consideration in mixed leagues.
