Wilson completed just 10-of-17 passes for 172 yards and a pair of interceptions in Sunday's 38-17 win over the Giants, but came up huge as a runner, carrying the ball 14 times for 107 yards and a touchdown.
Other than a pretty 60-yard throw to Jermaine Kearse, Wilson really struggled as a passer Sunday. He was sensational as a runner, however, and his one-yard bootleg touchdown with 5:19 remaining closed the scoring for Seattle. It was Wilson's third 100-yard rushing game of the season, and he's already recorded four touchdowns on the ground, after running for just one score in 2013. While the rushing stats are great, Wilson is in a little bit of a funk as a passer, failing to go over 200 yards, while posting a terrible 1:3 TD:INT ratio in the last three games. He'll look to get back on track throwing the ball next week against a solid Chiefs' defense.

Wilson completed 17-of-35 passes for 179 yards, with no touchdowns or turnovers in Sunday's 30-24 win against Oakland. He also carried the ball eight times for 31 yards.
Not the type of fantasy game owners were looking for from Wilson, who has not thrown a touchdown pass in two of the last four contests. He also had a tough time finding his wide receivers, as Marshawn Lynch led the Seahawks in receiving, with five receptions for 76 yards. He'll look to rebound from a statistical standpoint next week against the Giants.

Wilson completed 20 of 32 passes for 199 yards, with one touchdown and one interception, while adding 35 rushing yards on six carries in Sunday's win over the Panthers.
Wilson has now failed to score multiple touchdowns and throw for 200 yards in two of the last three weeks, though the exception was his record performance last Sunday when he became the first quarterback in league history to throw for 300 yards and rush for 100 yards in the same game. He spread the ball around against the Panthers, connecting with nine different receivers, with his lone touchdown coming on a 23-yard pass to tight end Luke Willson with 47 seconds left to put the Seahawks up for good. The absence of Percy Harvin doesn't seem to be making much of of an impact on Wilson's stat line, and he'll look to get back on track in Week 9 against the Raiders.

Wilson completed 23-of-36 passes for 313 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing seven times for 106 yards and another score during Sunday's 28-26 loss to the Rams.
With plenty of talk about how the Seahawks would respond after wideout Percy Harvin was traded to the Jets earlier this week, Wilson put on a show, setting a season-high with his 313 passing yards, a large chunk of which went to Doug Baldwin, who caught seven of 11 passes for 123 yards and a touchdown. He has remarkably rushing for over 100 yards in two of the last three games, while scoring one rushing touchdown in each of those contests. While he may not usually do a lot with his arm, Wilson continues to show that he can do some serious damage while rushing the ball, something he'll likely continue doing in Week 8 against a Panthers defense that is allowing over 140 rushing yards per game this season, tied for the fifth-worst mark in the league.

Wilson did not have his best game in Sunday's loss to Dallas, completing 14-of-28 passes for only 126 yards with an interception. He did score on a nine-yard touchdown in the third quarter.
The Cowboys controlled the clock, and Wilson struggled to get much going when Seattle did have the ball. It was the first time this season that he failed to throw multiple touchdowns in a game, as Dallas' underrated defense kept him in check. He'll attempt to get back on track against the Rams on the road in Week 7.

Wilson completed 18-of-24 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns, adding 11 carries for 122 yards and another touchdown, in Monday's 27-17 win over the Redskins.
Wilson had one of the finest games of his young career, due in large part to his ability to avoid pressure. He piled up rushing yards from the start, using a mixture of option bootlegs, traditional read-option plays, and scrambles from designed passes. He also made some nice throws after escaping the pass rush, notably finding Marshawn Lynch for a game-icing 30-yard gain late in the fourth quarter. In addition to the fantastic numbers he produced, Wilson had two touchdown passes to Percy Harvin nullified by penalties, though one of the two drives later ended with a scoring throw to Lynch. The only thing that slowed down the Seattle offense was a steady stream of penalties on the offensive line, which often resorted to holding against a tough Washington pass rush. The Seattle line has looked mediocre this season, but with the offense still thriving, Wilson is on track for his best statistical campaign. He's thrown for 190-plus yards and a pair of touchdowns in each contest, and is now averaging 52.3 rushing yards per game. Next week brings a favorable home matchup against the Cowboys.

Wilson completed 24-of-34 passes for 258 yards with two touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's exciting overtime win against Denver. He also ran for 40 yards, and caught a 17-yard pass.
Wilson made a number of clutch plays, including a couple of crafty runs in overtime, setting up Marshawn Lynch's six-yard plunge to win the game. Wilson and Percy Harvin really haven't connected yet, but the smooth quarterback has been a consistent fantasy performer through three weeks, tossing a pair of scores in each game.

Wilson completed 17-of-25 passes for 202 yards with two touchdowns in Sunday's 30-21 loss at San Diego. He added two carries for 18 yards.
Wilson didn't play that badly, but Seattle barely had the ball, possessing it for just 18 minutes. Surprisingly, he targeted Percy Harvin just one time, instead going to Jermaine Kearse and Doug Baldwin. Expect Wilson to put up bigger numbers next week at home against Denver.

Wilson completed 19-of-28 passes for 191 yards and two touchdown in Thursday's season-opening 36-16 win over the Packers. He added 29 yards on seven carries.
Wilson had four carries for 32 yards before taking a trio of knees to end the game. His first performance of the season was a strong one, though the limited volume -- a consistent issue in his young career -- prevented Wilson from putting together a huge fantasy day. Perhaps more encouraging for Wilson's owners than the quarterback's own strong stat line, Percy Harvin looked healthy and explosive, catching all seven of his targets for 59 yards, with another 41 yards on four carries. Meanwhile, the Seattle offensive line, an issue for much of last season, had an excellent night.

Wilson has connected on 30-of-39 passes for 360 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing nine times for 61 yards and three more scores during the Seahawks' three preseason games thus far.
Wilson and the Seahawks have shown no signs of a Super Bowl hangover through the preseason to date. The third-year quarterback has been a potent passer and runner, accounting for 12 yards per completion and five total touchdowns. Despite playing in Seattle's run-heavy offense, Wilson has blossomed into a steady QB1 option and could improve further if his passing volume is increased in Year 3.

Wilson completed 4-of-6 passes for 37 yards in Thursday's preseason opener against the Broncos.
Wilson added seven yards on one carry, and he led the Seahawks to seven points on two drives. With Percy Harvin healthy and the Seahawks' offensive line unlikely to suffer the slew of injuries it had last season, Wilson seems to have a bit more talent around him than he did last year. Of course, the Seahawks still figure to feature a run-heavy offense, and the defense will likely turn a few fourth quarters into little more than clock-killing contests. Wilson also has to deal with six games against NFC West defenses, all three of which he struggled against from a fantasy perspective in at least one of the two games last season. As you might expect, he looked perfectly fine in Thursday's game, although Seattle's pass protection was shaky.
Thu Jun 5 201413:47Seahawks remain committed to run-based O
Coach Pete Carroll confirmed the Seahawks will remain committed to running the football heavily going forward.
The Seahawks have ranked 32nd and 31st in the NFL in pass attempts through Russell Wilson's first two seasons, limiting his yearly fantasy ceiling. "We want to run the football whenever we want to," said Carroll. "We are an absolutely committed running football team." Wilson could flirt with top-five quarterback numbers if Seattle's defense or running game took a step back, but we wouldn't anticipate either. He's a low-end QB1 in 2014 re-draft leagues.

Thu Jun 5 201409:42Wilson, Luck to command $24-$25M per year?
ESPN's Adam Schefter hears Russell Wilson and Andrew Luck will earn $24-$25 million annually when they sign new contracts next year.
Colin Kaepernick's new deal is worth up to $21 million a year, but the details revealed a very team-friendly structure. The Niners will be able to cut him at any point if they're not happy with his performance. The agents for Wilson and Luck will have more leverage, and should therefore be able to negotiate more guarantees into the contracts. The $24-$25 million per year will actually be paid out and set a new record. Aaron Rodgers' $22 million average annual salary currently leads the league, followed by Matt Ryan ($20.7M), Joe Flacco ($20.1M), Drew Brees ($20M) and Peyton Manning ($19.2M).

Tue Feb 4 201418:55Wilson won't 'actively participate' in ST
FOX Sports confirms Russell Wilson won't "actively participate" in Texas Rangers spring training.
Any discerning fan already knew this, but apparently some didn't. The Rangers acquired Wilson's rights in last year's Rule 5 draft with the sole intention of using him as a mascot/motivational speaker. At one point, Wilson was pursuing a potential baseball career, but hung up his cleats after hitting .229/.354/.356 across 379 plate appearances in the low minor leagues.

Mon Feb 3 201420:56Wilson still plans to attend Rangers camp
Russell Wilson's agent confirmed the Super Bowl champ still plans to attend Texas Rangers camp this spring.
Seattle fans have nothing to worry about. Spring training runs from mid-February until March, so Wilson will not miss anything important, and the Rangers drafted him in December's Rule V draft simply to mentor some of their younger players. The young quarterback's baseball days are most likely behind him.

Sun Feb 2 201421:52Russell Wilson checks out in 4th quarter
Russell Wilson checked out of Sunday's Super Bowl 48 stomping of the Broncos late in the fourth quarter after completing 18-of-25 throws for 206 yards and two touchdowns, with three rushes for 26 yards.
Tarvaris Jackson performed mop-up duty. The Seahawks don't ask Wilson to carry their offense on a week-to-week basis, and he didn't need to in the Super Bowl as Seattle's defense and special teams thoroughly dominated. Wilson was still highly efficient in third-down situations and avoided turnovers on a day where Seattle led 22-0 at the half, and didn't so much as allow a Denver score until the final play of the third quarter. Wilson has finished as a top-nine fantasy quarterback in each of his first two NFL seasons. He'll be worth a middle-round pick in 2014 re-drafts.

Sun Jan 19 201422:01'Hawks outlast 49ers to advance to SB XLVIII
Russell Wilson completed 16-of-25 passes for 215 yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions as the Seahawks outlasted San Francisco 23-17 in the NFC Championship Game to advance to Super Bowl XLVIII.
It was a game for the ages, albeit one without much to call home about on offense. Wilson struggled mightily in the face of San Francisco's rush, taking four sacks and committing an intentional-grounding penalty. He lost a fumble on the very first play of the game. Routinely flushed up the middle, Wilson backpedalled instead of stepping up in the pocket, resulting in a host of dangerous plays. He hit just enough big throws to send Seattle to New York, however, including a Houdini-scramble that resulted in a 51-yard completion to Doug Baldwin. Wilson has struggled of late, generating just five touchdowns versus four turnovers over his past six games. He'll have to be better for Seattle to hoist the Lombardi Trophy.

Sat Jan 11 201419:47Seahawks outlast Saints to advance to NFCCG
Russell Wilson completed 9-of-18 passes for 103 yards, zero touchdowns and zero interceptions in Seattle's 23-15, Divisional Round win over the Saints.
Bottled up as a runner, Wilson managed just three scrambles for 16 yards. Put simply, Wilson wasn't good. He missed a number of makable short passes, and overthrew Golden Tate on a fourth-quarter deep ball. A 16-yard completion to Percy Harvin could have easily been an interception. Wilson is now averaging just 157.4 passing yards over his past five games, and has managed only four scores in the process. He'll have to be better if the Seahawks are to win next Sunday's NFC Championship Game.

Sun Dec 15 201315:49Seahawks rest Wilson with 10 minutes left
The Seahawks rested Russell Wilson with ten minutes left in their Week 15 game against the Giants with the score 23-0.
The Seahawks have done this on several occasions in blowout wins this year. Wilson finished with 206 passing yards, one touchdown, and one interception, and eight scrambles for 50 yards. Wilson narrowly missed another touchdown when Golden Tate's second-quarter score was negated by Tate accidentally stepping out of bounds on his route. The Giants' defense actually defended Wilson stoutly despite the lopsided score, harassing him particularly in the first half and drilling him on several occasions. He was picked off in the third quarter by FS/slot CB Antrel Rolle. Wilson still came away with above-average production. The Seahawks host the division rival Cardinals in Week 16, where Wilson will remain a top-ten QB1 play in fantasy football.
