While Charles looked excellent on a few of his touches, the Chiefs fell behind 14-0 by the end of the first quarter, and they ultimately ran just 44 offensive plays in the game. That largely explains Charles getting fewer than 14 carries and 16 touches for the first time since Week 2, as he was still quite involved in the offense. He extended his touchdown streak to seven games, and while next week's contest in Arizona is a tough one, Charles has mostly been unaffected by tricky matchups this season.

It thus remains more of an issue for the team than Charles' owners, as the speedy running back has at least 88 scrimmage yards and one touchdown in each of his last six games. Next week's matchup with the Broncos is a tough one, but so were Charles' Week 10 and 11 matchups against the Bills and Seahawks.
