Conte intercepted a pass and collected four stops in Sunday's win over the Buccaneers.
Partial credit for the interception goes to defensive tackle Stephen Paea, who was able to pressure Buccaneers quarterback Josh McCown into a poor throw that Conte was able to reel in. The safety has managed to avoid the injury bug the last four games, but with 20 tackles during that span, he hasn't produced enough to get overly excited about his IDP prospects.

Conte (shoulder) made eight stops in Sunday's 51-23 loss to the Patriots.
After showing improvement from last season's dismal unit over their first seven games, the Bears defense regressed considerably in Week 8, as quarterback Tom Brady and backup Jimmy Garoppolo combined to complete 33 of 38 passes for 365 yards on the afternoon. Conte bears some fault for the Patriots' aerial assault, but he was at least able to posted a season-high in tackles while the opposing receivers ran free all afternoon. Health has been Conte's biggest nemesis this season, as shoulder and concussion issues have cost him one game and forced him to leave early in four others. Even if Conte's coverage left a lot to be desired Sunday, the fact that he made it through the game without an apparent injury amounts to progress.

Conte (shoulder) is probable for Sunday's game against New England.
Conte is over his shoulder injury and is ready to return to the lineup, but he's probably best avoided as an IDP until he proves he can avoid a rotation with rookie fourth-round pick Brock Vereen.

Conte (shoulder) is out for Sunday's game against Miami.
Conte has had injury troubles all season, and the shoulder injury he suffered Sunday is the latest to result in missed time. He'll have to hope rookie Brock Vereen doesn't steal his starting role while on the shelf.
Sun Oct 12 201420:46Conte (shoulder) diagnosed with sprained right shoulder
Conte (shoulder) has been diagnosed with a sprained right shoulder, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
The safety left Sunday's win over the Falcons with the injury and did not return. Conte will undergo an MRI on Monday, after which the team will likely provide a return timetable. He sprained his left shoulder earlier in the season and did not miss a game, so that's an encouraging sign for Chicago.

Conte suffered a shoulder injury during Sunday's game against the Falcons and is considered questionable to return, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Conte has battled concussion and shoulder injuries throughout this season and his misfortune continued Sunday. While Conte's surgically repaired shoulder once again forced him to exit a game, Danny McCray is no stranger to filling in at free safety.

Conte, who checks in with two interceptions and 16 tackles over the Bears' first five games, is out there if you need him in deeper IDP formats this week.

Conte (concussion) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday.
Conte was likely contained to some individual drills, implying that he remains in the league's concussion protocol. Another test should take place before the end of the week, though, which could clear him to play Sunday in Atlanta.

Sun Sep 28 201412:29Conte (shoulder) active for Sunday's game against Packers
Conte (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game against the Packers, Michael C. Wright of ESPN Chicago reports.
Conte hasn't been at close to 100 percent health since the middle of training camp, but he'll manage to suit up for his fourth straight game despite his continual shoulder woes. Despite departing early due to injury each of the last two weeks, Conte has been a producer for the Bears in the secondary this season, collecting 13 tackles and two interceptions. He'll look to exorcise some old demons Sunday against the Packers, who got the best of him in last season's win-or-go-home Week 17 tilt.

Conte (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's game against Green Bay.
Conte practiced all week in a limited capacity, but his shoulder is evidently still a problem. If he can't suit up against the Packers, Danny McCray or Brock Vereen would pick up the snaps.
Wed Sep 24 201420:40Conte (shoulder) limited in practice Wednesday
Conte (shoulder) was limited in practice Wednesday.
After aggravating a shoulder injury Monday against the Jets, Conte could probably use a week off in order to heal what ails him. The Bears' secondary is in shambles, though, with Ryan Mundy (shoulder, limited) and Sherrick McManis (quadriceps, no practice) nursing their respective injuries. As a result, if Conte is healthy enough for a significant number of snaps, he'll likely assume his normal spot at free safety Sunday versus the Packers.

Conte (shoulder) is active for Monday's contest against the Jets at New York.
Conte nabbed an interception in each of the first two games this season, but the latter one resulted in a shoulder injury and placed his Week 3 availability in doubt. However, a full practice Saturday wiped away most of those concerns, leaving IDP owners free to use the free safety.

Conte (shoulder) is listed as probable for Monday's game against the Jets, cbslocal.com reports.

Thu Sep 18 201419:50Conte (shoulder) limited during Thursday's practice
Conte (shoulder) was limited during Thursday's practice, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Conte was forced out of last Sunday's game due to a shoulder injury, but was considered day-to-day to begin this week. It's worth noting that Conte also underwent shoulder surgery back in March, which forced him to miss nearly five months while recovering. Being so, it's understandable that he was limited Thursday, ensuring his shoulder didn't take any unnecessary contact. Nonetheless, the safety's status will have to be monitored in advance of Monday night's game against the Jets.

Conte (shoulder) is considered day-to-day by coach Marc Trestman, ESPN.com reports.
Conte suffered a shoulder injury during Sunday night's game and did not return after picking up the ailment. However, Conte is reportedly just sore, which bodes well for his future availability. With two interceptions in two games, Conte has made some plays in coverage thus far. Expect his status to be updated in advance of next Monday's game against the Jets.
