Murray carried the ball six times for 28 yards and caught two passes for 12 yards in Saturday's 39-26 win over the Packers.
The Eagles' lead rusher looked solid and powerful in his second preseason contest. He likely won't see much playing time in the final preseason game, meaning he'll end the exhibition games with 11 carries for 45 yards. Head coach Chip Kelly was intent on limiting Murray's workload before the regular season begins in order to keep the rusher fresh, meaning fantasy owners should feel confident in Murray as a No. 1 running back option.

Murray carried the ball five times for 17 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 40-17 win over the Ravens.
Murray's long-awaited Philadelphia debut went off without a hitch. His first run was exactly the type head coach Chip Kelly wanted to see from his offseason acquisition: a one-cut, seven-yard gain. Later in the game, he scampered for a two-yard score against a winded defense. Murray will be expected to run like that all season. He carried the ball just five times, and the game was still more of a feeling-out period than anything. But the defending rushing champ looked strong and made quick cuts, which is encouraging for fantasy owners looking to take Murray i the first round.

Murray (undisclosed) is active for Saturday's preseason game versus the Ravens, Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News reports.
Despite his status, Murray's potential workload could be held in check by coach Chip Kelly, after toting the rock a whopping 392 times last season. Kelly could exercise the utmost caution and not use Murray at all, but expect the offseason pickup to make an appearance before the preseason concludes.

Murray (undisclosed) said he feels good about potentially playing on Saturday, but is unsure if he will, NJ.com reports.
Murray has been held back by head coach Chip Kelly during training camp, and he didn't play in the team's first preseason game. Kelly has reiterated that Murray is healthy and is on track to be the team's starting running back when the regular season begins. The limitations are likely because of the gigantic workload Murray shouldered last season, when he ran the ball 80 more times than any other running back. Still, Murray seems anxious to get on the field with his new team.

Murray (undisclosed) is expected to return to practice Wednesday, CSN Philadelphia's Geoff Mosher reports.

Murray (undisclosed) will not play in Sunday's preseason game against the Colts, Albert Breer of the NFL Network reports.
Murray has recently been limited to light conditioning work in practice, per Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. There doesn't appear to be anything serious about the situation, as this could more about minimizing risk for Murray by limiting his practice and preseason reps.

Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said Friday that it has been his decision to hold Murray (undisclosed) out of practice, Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Murray missed the last few practices, even though he said Tuesday that he's fully recovered from the illness that bothered him last week. There's some chance he's dealing with a minor ailment, but head coach Chip Kelly seems to be hinting that it's just a matter of limiting Murray's practice reps. There will be legitimate cause for concern if Murray doesn't return to practice next week.

Murray (undisclosed) is unlikely to play in Friday's preseason opener against the Colts, the Philadelphia Daily News reports.
Murray has been held out of certain drills throughout training camp, leading to questions about his health. He was ill last week but said Wednesday that he's healthy, and yet he didn't partake in Thursday's practice. Although the Eagles don't seem too worried, the situation is worth keeping a close eye on. Ryan Mathews will likely get the start in Friday's preseason opener against the Colts.

The inauspicious debut of the DeMarco Murray era continues to roll on at the Eagles' training camp. After missing the first day of practices, and being subsequently held out of assorted drills, question marks are beginning to rise around his status. For a player who should go in the first two rounds of any fantasy draft, answers as to Murray's inconsistent practicing will be valuable to any prospective owners.

Murray (illness) is practicing on Sunday and is expected to fully participate.

Sat Aug 8 201515:23DeMarco Murray: (Illness) Limited Again Saturday
Murray (illness) was limited in practice Saturday, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
After taking a seat Thursday due to an unnamed illness, Murray didn't take part in team drills, despite dressing for practice. Although his rep count increased Saturday, he still fit in "very little" work. In the early stages of training camp, he'll likely maintain a cap in snaps until he's well enough to handle a full workload.
Fri Aug 7 201511:21Murray back at practice Friday
Murray is back at practice Friday, Geoff Mosher of CSN reports.
Murray missed Thursday's session due to an illness, but it looks like it's nothing serious, and he figures to work at full speed Friday as he prepares to be the Eagles' No. 1 back in 2015.
Thu Aug 6 201515:29Murray missed Thursday's practice because of illness
Murray missed Thursday's practice because of an illness, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Murray's illness wasn't believed to be serious, but it's been a herky-jerky beginning to his time in Philadelphia. He's missed two of the first four training camp practices, one with a hydration issue and now one with an illness. Still, Murray is expected to be fully healthy by the team's first preseason game August 16 against the Colts.
Mon Aug 3 201512:45Murray appeared to be full participant during Monday's practice
Murray appeared to be a full participant during Monday's practice, the Philadelphia Daily News reports.
Murray was somewhat limited during Sunday's practice session, but given his full activity level Monday, the running back seems fine as he begins his first season with the Eagles.
Sun Aug 2 201515:17Murray didn't take handoff during drills Sunday
Murray didn't take a handoff during drills Sunday, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Head coach Chip Kelly said each of the Eagles' 89 players would be ready to go at full speed on the first day of training camp, but Murray's inclusion in drills on the first day of practices seems to indicate otherwise. His unexplained absence likely isn't anything serious, but it's something to keep an eye on in coming practices.
Thu Mar 12 201519:13DeMarco Murray: Officially Signs With Philly
Murray has officially signed a five-year contract with the Eagles.
Murray's contract was finalized on the same day as Ryan Mathews', with the Eagles making the interesting decision to sign two veteran running backs for a backfield that already has Darren Sproles. Murray is obviously going to get most of the carries, but he'll likely catch fewer passes in Philadelphia, and presumably won't be asked to tote the rock upwards of 350 times again. The Eagles are one of the few teams with an offensive line nearly as good as the Cowboys', but Philly doesn't have a signal-caller of Tony Romo's caliber, nor a receiving threat like Dez Bryant. Re-signing with the Cowboys was probably the best-case scenario for Murray's fantasy outlook, but a spot in Chip Kelly's backfield is one heck of a consolation prize. Murray should be a first-round pick in the vast majority of leagues, despite the concerns over his enormous 2014 workload.
Thu Mar 12 201514:27Murray set to sign five-year
Murray is set to sign a five-year, $42 million deal with the Eagles, ESPN.com reports.
Murray's deal will reportedly include $21 million in guaranteed money, and sets the stage for him to replace LeSean McCoy as the Eagles' lead back this coming season. Of course, in the wake of the team's pending addition of Murray, it remains to seen where fellow RB Ryan Mathews ends up. Previous reports indicated that Mathews had agreed to join the team, but given that his deal with the Eagles was not final, it seems plausible that he'll move on from Philadelphia. The 27-year-old Murray finished the 2014 season with a career-high 1,845 rushing yards on 392 carries and 13 touchdowns for the Cowboys, to go along with 57 catches for 416 yards.
Thu Mar 12 201512:39Murray appears to be on track to agree to deal with Eagles
Murray appears to be on track to agree to a deal with the Eagles, according to ESPN.com.
We'll await confirmation of Murray's potential deal with the Eagles, as well as contract details, but at this stage it looks like the running back could be in line to help fill the void created by Philadelphia's trade of LeSean McCoy to Buffalo. Previous reports indicated that the Eagles were prepared to sign Ryan Mathews, though if Murray joins the team, that anticipated move could well be re-evaluated.

Murray will travel to Philadelphia and meet with Eagles official on Thursday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Murray is reportedly considering offers from several teams, but this report seems to indicate the Eagles are in the lead for his services. Expect another update on his status once his visit with the Eagles concludes.
Tue Mar 10 201517:31Murray and Eagles share mutual interest
Murray and the Eagles share a mutual interest, ESPN reports.
There is no indication that the two sides are anywhere close to an agreement, but it would certainly be an intriguing partnership, given Chip Kelly's desire to run the ball, and Murray's success in doing so last season. The Cowboys -- and likely several other teams -- remain in the mix for Murray, who is likely the top free agent still on the board.
