Tue Jun 18 201309:59Tandon Doss stood out during offseason
The Carroll County Times calls Tandon Doss one of the standouts of the Ravens' offseason.
Doss has been a bust through his two NFL seasons, struggling in limited playing time and catching just seven balls. But with a massive hole opposite Torrey Smith staring the Ravens in the face, no one can be counted out. Doss will battle burner Jacoby Jones, 2012 sixth-rounder Tommy Streeter and others for reps in training camp. No matter who wins out, we expect tight end Dennis Pitta to be Joe Flacco's No. 2 target.

Fri May 10 201318:14Tandon Doss could be Ravens No. 3 receiver
The Baltimore Sun projects 2011 fourth-round pick Tandon Doss as a candidate for the Ravens' third receiver role.
Torrey Smith is locked in as a starter, with Jacoby Jones penciled in across from him. A huge disappointment through two seasons, Doss managed only seven catches for 123 yards and one touchdown last year, playing just over 200 snaps. We suspect Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome will wind up pursuing a veteran receiver, perhaps Nate Washington if he's released or Malcom Floyd of the Chargers.

Thu Jun 21 201219:18Ravens WR Doss increases speed
Ravens WR Tandon Doss exhibited increased speed and after-catch explosiveness in spring practices.
Less than 100 percent after double sports hernia surgery last year, Doss struggled to gain separation from cornerbacks. Owner of perhaps the best hands on the roster, Doss looks like the future slot receiver in Baltimore. For this season, though, Jacoby Jones it the favorite to enter in three-wide sets, with Anquan Boldin moving inside.

Wed Jun 13 201209:50Ravens WR Doss out with undisclosed injury
Ravens WR Tandon Doss is sitting out this week's minicamp with an undisclosed injury.
Doss says the injury is minor and he expects to be fine for training camp. The only receiver lining up at all three spots in OTAs, Doss was enjoying a stellar offseason before the injury. He's competing for one of the final two spots at the position.

Wed May 30 201216:44Ravens say Doss having 'great offseason'
Ravens OC Cam Cameron said Wednesday that second-year WR Tandon Doss had had a "great offseason so far."
Doss earned just 32 rookie-year snaps, per Pro Football Focus, and he is fighting for a roster spot after the additions of Jacoby Jones and Tommy Streeter. "He has made basically every play," Cameron said of Doss' OTA opportunities. Primarily a slot receiver, Doss is competing for a job behind Anquan Boldin.

Fri Mar 30 201209:16Ravens counting on WR Doss in 2012
Coach John Harbaugh suggested WR Tandon Doss wasn't "physically quite ready" as a rookie due to a sports hernia surgery after his senior season at Indiana.
"He wasn't able to beat somebody out, but Tandon is going to be a really good player," Harbaugh said. "The weight room and the offseason program is going to be huge for him. We're counting on him to be a big factor this year." Doss could compete for the third receiver role if the Ravens don't draft an early-round wideout next month.

Fri Sep 16 201108:47Tandon Doss concentrating on special teams
Rookie WR Tandon Doss is working primarily as a special teamer early this season.
Doss was a healthy scratch in the opener while undrafted LaQuan Williams got the call as the fourth receiver and returner. Doss is competing for the gunner spot while backing up on kick returns. He's a long way from the fantasy radar.

Sun Sep 11 201111:52Ravens declare Week 1 inactives
Ravens declared WR Tandon Doss, OLB Sergio Kindle, CB Chykie Brown, OLB Michael McAdoo, ILB Jason Phillips, G/C Bryan Mattison, and NT Brandon McKinney inactive for Week 1 against the Steelers.
Torrey Smith gets the call over Doss, though former college teammate LaQuan Williams is expected to have a bigger impact in the opener. Kindle is a healthy scratch.

Thu Aug 11 201115:48Ravens confident in rookies Doss, Smith
Jamison Hensley of the Baltimore Sun would be surprised if the Ravens trade for Lee Evans based in large part on "the team's increasing confidence in rookies Torrey Smith and Tandon Doss."
The Ravens are connected to every receiver rumored to be available, but they certainly don't seem eager to make a move. Doss and Smith have both impressed in camp, and the Ravens like the speed element the rookies are bringing to the passing game.

Wed Jul 27 201122:45Ravens sign fourth-round WR Doss
Ravens agreed to terms with No. 123 overall pick WR Tandon Doss on a four-year contract.
The two-time All-Big Ten first-teamer slid in the draft due to post-season surgery to repair two groin muscles. Doss is a more well-rounded receiver than second-round flier Torrey Smith, but his biggest rookie-season impact will likely come on special teams.
