Mon Feb 23 201512:03Clay expected to re-sign with Dolphins
Clay is expected to re-sign with the Dolphins, The Palm Beach Post reports.
Clay had reportedly also drawn interest from the Bills, but all it ended up doing was driving his price tag up from about $4 million to an expected range of over $5 million. The 26-year-old tight end battled through a knee injury in 2014, but still managed to finish the season with 58 receptions for 605 yards and three touchdowns. If he remains healthy next year, it's probably safe to assume he will be able to best his numbers from the 2014 campaign.

Clay (hamstring) had five catches on six targets for 45 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's loss to the Jets.
Clay's season ends with 58 catches on 84 targets for 605 yards and three touchdowns, figures that are all down from last year. Clay will now hit free agency, and after the team tried to bring in Dustin Keller, who suffered a season-ending knee injury during the preseason, last offseason, it's unclear if Clay will be back in Miami next year.

Clay (hamstring, knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Jets.
Clay is coming off an excellent six-catch, 114-yard performance in Week 16 against the Vikings and will now face off against a Jets defense that has allowed the third-most receiving touchdowns in the league this season.

Clay (hamstring, knee) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Jets, the Dolphins' official site reports.

Clay (hamstring, knee) was limited at practice Wednesday, the Dolphins' official site reports.
With no reported Week 16 setbacks, Clay figures to be a go Sunday against the Jets, on the heels of a six-catch, 114-yard effort this past Sunday against the Vikings.

Clay (hamstring) had six catches on 10 targets for 114 yards during Sunday's win over the Vikings.
Clay led the Dolphins in targets and receiving yards, though he was unable to catch one of quarterback Ryan Tannehill's four touchdown passes, one of which went to backup tight end Dion Sims. Clay has now caught 12 passes on 17 targets in the last two games, but he hasn't scored since Week 9 against the Chargers. That could change in Week 17, as the Dolphins will host a Jets team that has allowed the third-most passing touchdowns this season.
Sun Dec 21 201411:41Clay (hamstring) active for Sunday's game against Vikings
Clay (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against the Vikings.
Clay has become somewhat usable in PPR leagues the second half of the season, averaging 5.0 receptions and 48.2 yards in his last five games. This week, however, he'll be working against the Vikings' sixth-ranked pass defense, a unit that has allowed just one opposing tight end (Greg Olsen in Week 13) to surpass 50 receiving yards since Week 3.

Clay (hamstring) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Vikings, the Dolphins' official site reports.
Clay, who recorded six catches on seven targets for 59 yards last Sunday against the Patriots, hasn't been putting up big yardage numbers this season, but he has been of some utility in PPR formats of late when he has played, with at least five catches in four of his last five outings.
Thu Dec 18 201416:06Clay (hamstring) remained limited at practice on Thursday
Clay (hamstring) remained limited at practice on Thursday, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.
We'll check back on Clay's status Friday, though with no reported setbacks last week, we'd expect the tight end to draw either a probable or questionable designation in advance of Sunday's game against the Vikings.
Wed Dec 17 201418:13Clay (hamstring) limited at practice Wednesday
Clay (hamstring) was limited at practice Wednesday, the Dolphins' official site reports.
With no reported Week 15 setbacks, we suspect that Clay's status for Sunday's game against the Vikings is not in danger, but we'll track his status for that contest in the coming days, nonetheless.

Clay (hamstring/knee) had six catches on seven targets for 59 yards during Sunday's loss to the Patriots.
Clay continues to be a decent option for quarterback Ryan Tannehill, but he rarely breaks out for big yards and has scored only two touchdowns all season, making him a fairly weak fantasy option in most formats.

Clay will continue to work through his aches and pains, and on the heels of catching two passes for 41 yards in Week 14, he remains an option for those in deeper formats.

Clay (hamstring/knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots, the Dolphins' official site reports.
With no reported setbacks in this past Sunday's loss to the Ravens, we'd expect Clay (who caught two passes for 41 yards in Week 14) to give it a go Sunday, and in such a scenario, he'd be worth a look in deeper formats.
Thu Dec 11 201416:28Clay (hamstring/knee) limited at practice again on Thursday
Clay (hamstring/knee) was limited at practice again on Thursday, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.
More on Clay's status Friday, but we'd expect him to suit up Sunday against the Patriots, with no reported injury setbacks for the tight end in Week 14.
Wed Dec 10 201416:46Clay (hamstring
Clay (hamstring, knee) was limited at practice Wednesday, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.

Clay (hamstring/knee) had two receptions (on three targets) for 41 yards in Sunday's 28-13 loss to the Ravens.
Even though Clay's stats were modest, he was actually second on the team in receiving yardage. He had missed the previous two games, so we'll have to see his practice/participation levels this week in order to determine if he made it through without any setbacks. If he is indeed OK, he'll face the Patriots in Week 15.

Clay (hamstring/knee) is is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Ravens.
It remains to be seen how close to 100 percent Clay will be Sunday, but he'll give it a go in tandem with fellow TE Dion Sims after missing the Dolphins' last two games.

Clay (hamstring/knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens, the Miami Herald reports.
The report indicates that Clay -- who has missed the last two games -- did not suffer any setbacks this week, but given the questionable designation (he is the only Dolphin in that category this week) in advance of Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff, Clay is a risky fantasy roll this week.
Thu Dec 4 201417:56Clay (hamstring/knee) limited in practice Thursday
Clay (hamstring/knee) was limited in practice Thursday, the Sun-Sentinel reports.
Per the report, Clay's participation level seemed significantly limited Thursday, which clouds his status for Sunday's game against the Ravens. We'll revisit the tight end's status Friday, no later than the release of the Dolphins' Week 14 injury report, in any case.
Wed Dec 3 201418:48Clay (hamstring) limited at practice Wednesday
Clay (hamstring) was limited at practice Wednesday, the Dolphins' official site reports.
Clay missed this past Monday's game against the Jets, but his limited participation Wednesday suggests that he has a chance to return to action Sunday against the Ravens, in the absence of any setbacks.
