Thu Nov 6 201415:00Jackson (knee) returned to practice Thursday
Jackson (knee) returned to practice Thursday, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
After failing to take part in drills Wednesday, Jackson was back in action just one day later. While his activity level is unknown, he's provided a boost of confidence to his owners that he'll be able to take the field Sunday versus the Falcons, who have allowed eight touchdown receptions to wide receivers in as many games this season.

Jackson (undisclosed) didn't partake in practice Wednesday, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Jackson's rib injury may still be a bother, but until Wednesday's official injury report emerges, the reason for his absence is unknown. During the three games in which the ailment has lingered, he's averaged 3.7 catches (on 10 targets) for 55 yards, but the end zone eluded him, despite two red-zone targets. In any case, his current concern will be confirmed in short order.

Jackson (ribs) had six catches on a team-high 12 targets for 86 yards Sunday against the Browns.
A solid game for Jackson, though he was greatly overshadowed by rookie Mike Evans, who caught seven passes on 11 targets for 124 yards and two touchdowns. Jackson has now been targeted at least 10 times in four of his last five games, and there is no reason to think that's going to drop off when the Bucs host the Falcons in Week 10, a team that is allowing the third-most passing yards per game this season.
Sun Nov 2 201411:44Jackson (ribs) active for Sunday's matchup with Browns
Jackson (ribs) is active for Sunday's matchup with the Browns.
Jackson figures to see a lot of Pro Bowler Joe Haden in the Sunday afternoon tilt, but this shouldn't scare away fantasy owners, as the veteran has a distinct size advantage, and should see an opportunity to build on his eight red zone targets this year. Although Jackson saw just five targets last week against Minnesota, he had been thrown to 35 times in the previous three weeks, which we'd expect to be more indicative of his usage Sunday. Even though the Bucs were unable to find him a new home prior to the trade deadline, this was likely good news for fantasy owners, as his value will be the highest in an offense where he is the top option in the passing game.
Fri Oct 31 201418:50Jackson (ribs) probable for Sunday's game against Cleveland
Jackson (ribs) is probable for Sunday's game against Cleveland.
Jackson's rib issue appears to nearly be past him, so hopefully he can start capitalizing on his high target count this week. Prior to a five-target aberration against the Vikings last week, Jackson totaled 60 targets in six games.
Wed Oct 29 201416:23Vincent Jackson: (Ribs) Limited Wednesday
Jackson (rib) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
The trade deadline came and went, with Jackson remaining in Tampa Bay, after garnering significant interest around the league. Meanwhile, a rib injury has accompanied him since preparation for Week 6, which has resulted in a combined five receptions (on 18 targets) for 79 yards in the past two games. At the very least, the target count is encouraging, meaning improved health could result in more productive performances.

Jackson (ribs) had one catch on five targets for 13 yards Sunday against the Vikings.
Jackson has reportedly gotten plenty of trade interest in recent days, with the Seahawks, Patriots, Eagles and Chiefs all potential landing spots. The Bucs are also shopping running back Doug Martin, as they look to clear a few big contracts off the books in order to begin a full rebuild. Jackson's down game after a bye certainly didn't come at a great time for his trade value, though there is no indication that the rib injury he's been playing with affected him. His five targets were a season-low and likely more of an anomaly than what should be expected here on out. His got decent fantasy value for the rest of the season in Tampa, but everything could change if he's wearing a new uniform next week.
Sun Oct 26 201411:35Vincent Jackson: (Ribs) Active Sunday
Jackson (ribs) is listed as active Sunday versus the Vikings, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Since coming down with a rib injury in advance of Week 6, Jackson has suited up once, before a Week 7 bye presented an opportunity for additional recovery. Expect him to handle his typical heavy workload, which has included 10 targets per game this season. If the preceding comes to pass, as expected, with Mike Glennon under center, Jackson has a great chance to produce against a Vikings defense that has allowed seven touchdown receptions to wide receivers in the last four outings.
Sun Oct 26 201408:55Jackson (ribs) will be active for Sunday's game against Vikings
Jackson (ribs) will be active for Sunday's game against the Vikings, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Jackson was able to practice in a limited capacity this week and played through the ailment in Week 6 against the Ravens, which was followed by a Week 7 bye, so he should be good to go, though the Bucs face off against a Vikings defense ranked in the top-10 in passing yards allowed.
Fri Oct 24 201417:28Vincent Jackson: (Ribs) Questionable for Sunday
Jackson (ribs) is questionable for Sunday's game against Minnesota, FOX Sports 1's Jenna Laine reports.
Jackson is listed as questionable, but he managed to practice in a limited capacity each day this week. Considering he already played through the injury a week ago, it would generally be a surprise if he sat out against the Vikings. Luckily for Jackson's owners, the Buccaneers have an early kickoff.
Wed Oct 22 201417:52Vincent Jackson: (Ribs) Limited Wednesday
Jackson (ribs) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Jackson played through the concern during the Buccaneers' last game in Week 6, when he was targeted a team-high 13 times. Although he only caught four balls for 66 yards, he's dominating the attention of quarterback Mike Glennon, garnering double-digit looks in three consecutive games heading into the team's Week 7 bye. Upon the release of Friday's injury report, owners should be aware of Jackson's status in advance of Sunday's outing against the Vikings.
Mon Oct 20 201417:18Jackson (ribs) among Bucs who did not practice Monday
Jackson (ribs) was among the Bucs who did not practice Monday, the Tampa Bay Times reports.
More on Jackson's status no later than Wednesday's practice, but at this stage, there is nothing to suggest that his availability for Sunday's game against Minnesota is in any danger.
Wed Oct 15 201413:27Vincent Jackson:
Jackson (ribs) was among the Bucs' players held out of Wednesday's practice, the Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Given that the team is on bye this week, the Bucs are taking it easy with a number of their banged up players, but with no reported setbacks in Week 6's loss to the Ravens, there is nothing to suggest that Jackson won't be available the next time the Bucs play, on Oct. 26 against the Vikings.

Jackson (ribs) had four catches on a team-high 13 targets for 66 yards in Sunday's 48-17 loss to the Ravens.
The Bucs trailed 28-0 after the first quarter and 38-0 at halftime, which certainly opened up the Bucs' passing attack as they tried to get back in the game (they never did). Quarterback Mike Glennon threw more passes to Jackson than anyone else, but his touchdowns went to wideouts Mike Evans and Louis Murphy. Jackson injured his ribs last Sunday against the Saints, but still managed to haul in eight passes for 144 yards. He didn't seem overly bothered by them against the Ravens, but he'll be able to rest them now, as the Bucs are off in Week 7 before taking on the Vikings in Week 8.
Sun Oct 12 201411:44Vincent Jackson: (Ribs) Active Sunday
Jackson (ribs) is active for Sunday's game versus the Ravens, Scott Smith of the Bucs' official site reports.
The Buccaneers' top two wideouts, Jackson and Mike Evans (groin), will take the field after entering the weekend with questionable status. Jackson will aim to feast upon a Ravens defense that has allowed 201 receiving yards per outing to opposing WR this season.
Sun Oct 12 201409:14Jackson (ribs) expected to play Sunday against Ravens
Jackson (ribs) is expected to play Sunday against the Ravens, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Jackson was only able to practice on a limited basis Friday after being held out Wednesday and Thursday, but he will reportedly give it a go, as will rookie Mike Evans (groin), who was also questionable. It's a promising matchup for the two wideouts, as the Ravens enter Week 6 ranked 26th in the NFL by allowing 269.2 passing yards per game, though they lead the NFL with only four-passing touchdowns allowed.
Fri Oct 10 201417:10Vincent Jackson: (Ribs) Questionable for Sunday
Jackson (ribs) is questionable for Sunday's game against Baltimore.
Jackson made just one practice appearance this week, and that was a limited showing Friday. He seems truly questionable for Sunday's game which, luckily for Jackson's owners, is an early kickoff. Meanwhile, fellow wideout Mike Evans (groin) was a limited practice participant all week, which seems to give the rookie a decent chance of suiting up.
Fri Oct 10 201412:08Vincent Jackson: (Ribs) Returns to Practice
Jackson (ribs) returned to practice Friday, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
After missing practice Wednesday and Thursday, Jackson's chances of suiting up against Baltimore on Sunday looked pretty slim, but this news changes the outlook entirely. He still could be headed for a "questionable" designation going into the weekend, but if a player of his caliber is able to practice at least partially on Friday, there's a good chance he'll try to give it a go on Sunday. Stay tuned for Tampa's official injury designations later in the day.
Thu Oct 9 201414:13Vincent Jackson: (Rib) Misses Practice Thursday
Jackson (rib) missed practice again Thursday, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
With another 'did not practice' on the ledger, Jackson's injury situation is entering a gloomy stage. However, everything would change with an appearance in drills Friday, when his status for Sunday's game against the Ravens could receive clarification.
Wed Oct 8 201416:08Vincent Jackson: (Rib) Doesn't Practice Wednesday
Jackson didn't practice Wednesday due to an injured rib, Roy Cummings of the Tampa Tribune reports.
The extent of Jackson's injury is unknown, but his activity level in practice this week should reveal his availability Sunday versus the Ravens. Expect some clarification on his status before week's end.
