Johnson (concussion) is not expected to be available Sunday against the Colts, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
We'll verify Johnson's status as Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff approaches, but if he misses the contest, NFL.com indicates that DeAndre Hopkins and Keshawn Martin would be in line to head the Texans' Week 15 receiving corps.

Johnson (concussion, questionable) remains day-to-day in advance of Sunday's game against the Colts.
Per coach Bill O'Brien, Johnson has yet to clear the NFL's concussion protocol, though O'Brien suggested that there is still time for that to occur before Sunday's game. For now, we'll consider Johnson a game-time decision for the contest, with fellow wideout DeAndre Hopkins a candidate for added Week 15 looks if Johnson is out or limited this weekend.

According to coach Bill O'Brien, Johnson (concussion) is day-to-day in advance of Sunday's game against the Colts, Deepi Sidhu of HoustonTexans.com reports.
Hopefully the wideout's Week 15 status is clarified by the end of the week, though if Johnson (who did not practice Wednesday) does end up iffy heading into the weekend, fortunately for his fantasy owners, the Texans kick off at 1:00 ET on Sunday.
Mon Dec 8 201415:51According to coach Bill O'Brien
According to coach Bill O'Brien, Johnson (concussion) is day-to-day, Drew Dougherty of houstontexans.com reports.

Johnson is being evaluated for a possible concussion after taking a hit during Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Johnson walked off the field on his own steam, but we wouldn't be surprised if the wideout was done for the day after absorbing a helmet-to-helmet hit.

Johnson had seven catches on a team-high 11 targets for 53 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Titans.
A solid performance for Johnson that was overshadowed by DeAndre Hopkins, who caught nine passes on nine targets for 238 yards and two touchdowns. Johnson continues to be heavily targeted, but the touchdown was just his second all season. On the plus side, he's got a good matchup in Week 13 against a Jaguars defense allowing the sixth-most passing yards per game this season.

Johnson had three catches on a team-high 12 targets for 36 yards Sunday against the Bengals.
Quarterback Ryan Mallett really struggled in his second-career start, completing only 21 of 45 passes, many of which went to Johnson. The good news for fantasy owners is that Johnson continues to be heavily-targeted, though he doesn't have a great Week 13 matchup, as the Texans will take on a Titans defense ranked in the top-10 in fewest passing yards allowed per game this season.

Johnson had a team-high seven catches on nine targets for 68 yards Sunday against the Browns.
Despite the change to Ryan Mallett under center, Johnson was still able to tie his season-high in receptions, while posting his highest receiving total in the last three games. The Texans relied heavily on the running game, giving their RBs 50 carries versus just 30 pass plays. Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins were targeted on 17 of the 30 passes, and it appears likely that they'll continue to dominate the targets heading into Week 12 against the Bengals.

Johnson (ankle) had two catches on seven targets for 12 yards Sunday against the Eagles.
Johnson finished second on the team in targets (DeAndre Hopkins led the way with 11), but his 12 receiving yards were good for fourth among the five players who caught at least one pass (running back Alfred Blue caught one pass for minus-3 yards). Hopkins continues to be the upside fantasy performer of the Texans' wideouts, with Johnson failing to reach 100 yards in any game this season while scoring just one touchdown. Following a Week 10 bye, the Texans will face off against a Browns defense ranked 20th in the league against the pass.

Johnson (ankle) had seven catches on 12 targets for 55 yards Sunday against the Titans.
Johnson continues to get a solid number of targets (33 in the last three games), but his receiving yards have dropped from 99 to 77 to 55 in that span. His fantasy stats were limited Sunday due to game plan, as the Texans took a big enough lead early that they ran the ball 40 times when all was said and done. On the plus side, Johnson will face off against the Eagles in Week 9, a team that is allowing the ninth-most passing yards per game this season heading into Sunday.
Sun Oct 26 201411:45Johnson (ankle) active for Sunday's game against Titans
Johnson (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Titans.
Johnson seems to be hitting his stride and has put together two of his better games this season in the last two weeks. He'll look to continue the strong play Sunday against Tennessee's mediocre pass defense.

Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick acknowledged a need to get Johnson (ankle) the ball more following Monday night's loss to the Steelers, CSN Houston reports. "My job is to get the ball to our play-makers and I didn't get it to Andre nearly enough early," Fitzpatrick said.
Indeed, Johnson was sitting at one catch for four yards after three quarters before he became a big target in the fourth. Head coach Bill O'Brien said Johnson was open throughout the game, while Fitzpatrick said the Steelers were doing some things to prevent the ball from getting to Johnson, but he also took some measure of the blame for the wideout's low-target numbers through three quarters.
