The Newark Star-Ledger reports the Giants are interested in free agent CB Corey Graham.
The Giants are likely out of the Alterraun Verner derby and are now turning their attention to second-tier cornerbacks. Graham, 29 in July, excelled as the Ravens' slot corner the past two seasons and can play special teams. He'd be replacing Terrell Thomas as the Giants' nickel corner. The Redskins are also interested.

He appeared in all 16 games and graded out as a top-15 slot corner by Pro Football Focus. Graham is considered one of Baltimore's top priorities, along with Eugene Monroe and Daryl Smith.

Graham started every game from Week 10 on after the Ravens were searching for a replacement at left corner fro Lardarius Webb (torn ACL). His play was one of the main reasons the Ravens were able to advance to, and eventually win, the Super Bowl. Entering the final year of his deal, Graham could conceivable start again next season with Cary Williams set for free agency.

Corey Graham is currently the leader in the battle to be the Bears' nickel corner.
As long as Danieal Manning doesn't lose out on the strong safety job and shift back to corner, Graham shouldn't have a problem winning this gig in training camp. His only competition is journeyman Tim Jennings and practice squad candidate Josh Moore.
