Allen won't return to Monday's game against the Steelers due to a left ankle injury, Chris Adamski of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.

Allen sustained the ailment in the first quarter, but not before recording two solo tackles to bring his season-long line to 31 tackles (26 solo), one interception, and one sack. In his stead, Robert Golden took over at strong safety.

Cook struggled in Sunday's 24-10 loss to Green Bay, only grabbing one of his six targets from quarterback Nick Foles.

Foles was completely off his game on Sunday, which certainly affected Cook in a negative way. Even so, after a decent start to the year, Cook has only five catches for 37 yards in his last three games combined. He may bust out for another solid game or two the rest of the way, but those looking for a consistent option should look elsewhere.

Kendricks hauled in two catches for 16 yards in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Packers.

Kendricks upped his season total to seven catches for 85 yards, and he also has a score on the year. He plays a lot of snaps, but is, at best, the fifth or sixth receiving option in the Rams' offense.

Hankerson (ribs) was limited in the Falcons' walkthrough practice Monday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.

Hankerson left Sunday's game briefly due to a rib issue, which was likely the impetus for his least productive performance of the season (one catch for 13 yards on four targets). His practice participation Monday bodes well for active status Thursday at New Orleans, but the injury could again hamper his output.

Flowers (concussion) is listed as active for Monday's game against the Steelers.

Good news for the Charger's secondary, but with 10 tackles in three games out of the gate, Flowers' IDP impact this season has been modest.

An MRI on Raji's groin Monday revealed no damage, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Raji was removed from Sunday's win against the Rams due to a groin injury, and while it may not be severe, he was still unable to finish that contest. As the week progresses, his ability to practice will forecast if he'll be able to play Sunday against the Chargers.

Spaeth (hand) is listed as active for Monday's game against the Chargers.

Spaeth's return to action will bolster the team's depth at tight end behind starter Heath Miller, but he's not involved enough in the team's offense to be a fantasy lineup consideration.

Bryant, who hadn't missed a kick yet this season, hit 2-of-4 field goal attempts in Sunday's overtime win over the Falcons.

Bryant didn't miss by much, as he hit the right upright from 38 yards and doinked the left upright from 48 yards. His two makes came from 28 yards and 42 yards, and he tallied one extra point. He has a good matchup Week 6 against the Saints.

Allen (knee) is inactive for Monday's game against the Chargers.

With Allen still out, look for Antwon Blake to once again see added action in the Steelers' Week 5 secondary.

Jones (ankle) is listed as active for Monday's game against the Steelers.

His return arrives at a good time for the Chargers, with fellow wideout Stevie Johnson out Monday, though Jones is likely to make most of his initial impact in the team's return game.

Floyd (concussion) is listed as active for Monday night's game against the Steelers.

Floyd, who has eight catches for 167 yards and a TD through four games to date, is out there if you need him Monday, with his presence representing good news for the Chargers, who will be without the services of Stevie Johnson this week.

Jones (hamstring) didn't practice Monday.

Jones has put together back-to-back less-than-stellar outings, but increased attention from defenses rather than his health were likely at the crux of scaled-back production due to his regular presence on the injury report this season. Even if he misses every practice this week, he's a good bet to prosper Thursday against a Saints secondary that has allowed 16 yards per reception and four touchdowns to wide receivers this season.

Though Forsett had his ankle rolled up on in Sunday's loss to the Browns, coach John Harbaugh relayed Monday that "it's not a high-ankle" sprain that the running back is dealing with, the Baltimore Sun reports.

Per Harbaugh, "that's a good sign. That gives him a chance for this week." Forsett's status will thus be worth monitoring closely as Sunday's game against the 49ers approaches, with Javorius Allen a candidate for added work in Week 6 if Forsett ends up being limited or out this Sunday.

Smith, who is dealing with microfractures in his back, has a chance to return to action in Week 6, the Baltimore Sun reports.

Such an outcome is far from a lock though, with coach John Harbaugh having expressed a modest degree of optimism Monday with regard to the veteran wideout's chances of suiting up this weekend against the 49ers. "We'll see," Harbaugh noted of Smith, whose final Week 5 status apparently wasn't decided until game-time. "I don't know. He was in here training hard, so that's a good sign. I'm hopeful, very hopeful."

Bell (ankle) plans to practice this week and expects to play Sunday against the Bears, the Detroit Free Press reports.

Assuming he is able to return to action this week, there's an opportunity for Bell to reclaim a portion of the Lions' backfield touches, with fellow RB Ameer Abdullah having fumbled twice in Week 5.

Lynch (hamstring) is expected to return to practice Thursday.

Lynch has missed two games due to a hamstring injury, but a return to drills Thursday would put him on pace to fulfill head coach Peter Carroll's belief that the veteran back will play Sunday against the Panthers. If he does so, he would presumably take on the bulk of the RB touches, even in a backfield with healthy options Fred Jackson and Thomas Rawls at the seahawks' disposal.

Bush is dealing with tightness in his calf, sfgate.com reports.

Bush's availability for Sunday's game against the Ravens is unclear as a result, and if he's forced to sit the contest out, Mike Davis is a candidate to rejoin the 49ers' backfield mix in Week 6.

Davis (knee), who missed his second consecutive game this past Sunday, has reportedly made significant progress over the last week, the San Jose Mercury News reports.

As a result, Davis -- who practiced in a limited fashion last week -- is trending in the right direction as Week 6's contest against the Ravens approaches. A return to full practice participation this week, however, would certainly brighten his outlook on that front.

Gates was officially added to the Chargers' active roster Monday.

In a corresponding move, the team waived safety Adrian Phillips, with the transaction confirming that Gates will be available for Monday night's game against the Steelers. The 35-year-old tight end thus returns from a four-game suspension to start the season, on the heels of a 2014 campaign in which he caught 69 passes for 821 yards and 12 TDs. In his lineup re-entry, look for Gates to see his share of work in the Charger' Week 5 attack, though fellow TE Ladarius Green should remain in the team's pass-catching mix as well.

An MRI has reportedly confirmed that Charles tore his ACL on Sunday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

With Charles thus on track to miss the rest of the season, Charcandrick West and Knile Davis are next up for the Chiefs' backfield duties. With that in mind, coach Andy Reid relayed via the Kansas City Star that the duo would continue to split time, though it's worth noting that on Sunday, West finished the day with 31 yards on seven carries, while Davis carried the ball just twice for two yards. "I'm not saying who is or is not the feature guy, but we need both of them," Reid stated Sunday, with reference to turning to a West/Davis backfield combo. "Both their games are different. We'll just see how that goes." While the situation plays out, both West and Davis slot in as high-priority targets in leagues where they remain available, with West perhaps the higher percentage play, based on Week 5's box score, but not necessarily a lock to dominate the team's carries moving forward, given Davis' previous experience filling in for Charles.
