The Patriots reportedly worked out Nicks, ESPN's Field Yates reports.

Per the report, Nicks "continues making the workout rounds," so it doesn't appear as though as a signing is imminent here. As wideout injuries mount around the league, however, it wouldn't surprise us to see the 27-year-old Nicks (who played for the Colts in 2014) catch on with another NFL franchise sooner rather than later.

Ware suffered a back strain Sunday at Oakland and is expected to miss two weeks, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The Broncos travel to Cleveland next Sunday, before their bye arrives in Week 7, so the team is prepared to be without Ware for potentially just one game. Thus, his next few weeks will be characterized by treatment, with the likely aim of a return for Sunday Night Football on Nov. 1 against the Packers.

Rey had 13 total tackles in Sunday's win over the Seahawks.

Rey has had two games in a row with double-digit tackles and has had eight or more tackles in four of the five Bengals games this season. Nobody's Vontaze Burfict, but Rey has come close while Burfict has been out.

Haden (concussion) will likely sit out Sunday's game against the Broncos, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Haden is currently in the NFL's concussion protocol and the report suggests that it would be a surprise if he advanced through it fast enough to be cleared in advance of Week 6's home contest versus Denver. Per ESPN.com, if Haden can't play Sunday, the Browns could well turn to Pierre Desir to fill in for him.

Gresham couldn't gather in his sole target during Sunday's victory in Detroit.

Consistently short fields and an efficient ground game resulted in only 18 pass attempts from Cardinals quarterbacks, and 11 of those were consumed by the receiving duo of Larry Fitzgerald and John Brown. Gresham's usage reflected those conditions, containing him to 20 of 46 offensive snaps, versus all but two for fellow tight end Darren Fells, according to Mike Jurecki of FOX Sports 910 Phoenix. In addition to the continued lack of snaps, Gresham didn't record a catch for the first time in five games, but his five receptions have produced just 51 yards and no scores on the season.

Coach Mike Pettine indicated Monday that McCown (ankle) might need a day off in practice this week, but the QB should be able to play Sunday against the Broncos, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

For his part, McCown -- who threw for a franchise-record 457 yards in Week 5's overtime win over the Ravcens -- said that he's "hopeful" he'll be able to play this Sunday, so his status is worth monitoring in the coming days. Next up for the Browns' QB snaps should McCown miss any practice reps (or even game action) is Johnny Manziel, with Austin Davis also on hand.

Sanu caught five passes for 69 yards in Week 5's win over the Seahawks.

Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton was able to spread the ball around fairly equally between A.J. Green, Tyler Eifert, Marvin Jones and Sanu against the Seahawks, with the Bengals purposefully avoiding Richard Sherman and Earl Thomas. Instead, they frequently targeted Kam Chancellor and Cary Williams. Sanu benefited from that strategy.

Floyd notched one reception (on three targets) for 15 yards during Sunday's dominating win in Detroit.

Floyd received a generous allotment of snaps -- 32 of 46, according to Mike Jurecki of FOX Sports 910 Phoenix -- and the usage lines up with his usage from the previous contest, when he also logged 70 percent of the offensive snaps. Often, a 42-17 final allows all skill-position players an opportunity to get in on the party, but consistently short fields and a health ground game capped the Cardinals at 171 passing yards. Through five outings, Floyd has found moderate success only once -- five catches for 59 yards on seven targets in Week 4 -- as Larry Fitzgerald and John Brown are seemingly entrenched as Carson Palmer's top receiving options.

Sproles ran five times for 27 yards and caught one pass for 10 yards in Sunday's 39-17 win over the Saints.

After a few explosive outings to start the season, Sproles has cooled off with running back DeMarco Murray's return to the Eagles' lineup. The veteran back is still a player worth a bench spot, but his rushing potential is extremely limited with Murray and fellow running back Ryan Mathews both seeing plenty of touches, and the Eagles' passing game is replete with weapons, which means Sproles is likely capped at a handful of receptions per game.

Jones had five catches for 61 yards on eight targets in Week 5's win over the Seahawks.

Jones hooked up for a big play with Andy Dalton on the Bengals opening drive, but was limited to light production the rest of the game. The Bengals were trying to avoid Richard Sherman and Earl Thomas, and often that meant they went to someone other than Jones.

Cooper caught three passes for 32 yards in Sunday's 39-17 win over the Saints.

Cooper's prolific Week 4 was always going to be an aberration for the team's No. 4 wide receiver, and the Eagles' big win over New Orleans proved it. While quarterback Sam Bradford threw for 333 yards, Cooper accounted for just 10 percent of that. In an offense equally interested in passing the ball to its bevy of tight ends and running backs, Cooper will struggle to see consistent, meaningful touches as the season continues.

Celek caught three passes for 44 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 39-17 win over the Saints.

The Brent Celek renaissance continues to roll on, as the veteran tight end proves himself every bit as valuable in head coach Chip Kelly's offense as younger tight end Zach Ertz. Celek now has two touchdown passes to Ertz's zero this season, and with Kelly using more two-tight end sets in the Birds' win against New Orleans, Celek could be an intriguing option in one-tight end leagues. In any case, he's a player worth watching after touchdowns in back-to-back weeks.

Nugent kicked a 42-yard field goal in overtime to complete the Bengals' comeback win over the Seahawks on Sunday.

Nugent's game-winner was banked off the left upright. He earlier tied the game in regulation as time ran out. He's 5-for-7 on field goals this season, and 17-for-18 on extra points.

Powell (quad) did not practice Monday, NJ.com reports.

As the Jets returned to work Monday following their bye, Powell was unable to log a practice, so his status will be worth monitoring as this coming Sunday's game against Washington approaches.

Though he was pulled in the third quarter of Sunday's 42-17 loss to the Cardinals, Stafford remains the Lions' starting quarterback, the Detroit News reports.

Per the report, Stafford, who finished Sunday's game having completed 20 of 32 passes for 188 yards and one touchdown to go along with three interceptions, before being replaced by Dan Orlovsky, is not on a short leash, according to coach Jim Caldwell. Stafford -- who currently ranks 33rd in the NFL in passer rating and 34th in yards per attempt to date -- will look to turn things around in Week 6 against the 2-3 Bears, who are allowing an average of 28.4 points per game to date. It's a decent matchup on paper, but Stafford's struggles over the Lions' 0-5 start make him a hit-or-miss fantasy option this coming week.

Graham logged 12 tackles in Sunday's win over Tennessee, the fourth straight game he's posted double-digit totals.

There's another good sign here in that Graham posted big tackle numbers even with fellow starting free safety Aaron Williams returning to action from a neck injury. With 48 tackles, including three for a loss, plus a fumble recovery, Graham sits first in overall IDP totals among safeties in a number of formats heading into Monday night action. Bully for those who stuck with Graham following a one-tackle dud in Week 1.

Colston suffered a separated shoulder Sunday against the Eagles, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.

Per the report, Colston could also be dealing with some structural damage, with the New Orleans Times-Picayune relaying that the wideout is slated to have an MRI on Monday afternoon. At a minimum, we'd expect Colston to miss Thursday's game against the Falcons, with the veteran wideout's likely absence paving the way for Brandon Coleman to see his share of snaps in the Saints' offense, along with top wideout targets Brandin Cooks and Willie Snead.

McCown suffered a sprained ankle during Sunday's overtime win against the Ravens and is hopeful of playing in Week 6 against the Broncos, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

McCown finished Sunday's game with a whopping 457 yards and two touchdowns, but tweaked his ankle on Cleveland's game-winning drive during overtime. It's unknown how much the 36-year-old will be impacted by his sprained ankle, but McCown will need to be plenty mobile against the Broncos' vaunted pass rush in Week 6. While McCown's practice participation during this week should help clarify his upcoming availability, backup Johnny Manziel would figure to see increased reps if McCown is limited going forward.

The Chiefs plan to bring Thomas in for a workout, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

As the Chiefs look for running back help after losing Jamaal Charles to a knee injury, the team is also taking a look at Ben Tate. The Chiefs' current in-house options to fill in for Charles are Charcandrick West, Knile Davis and perhaps even DeAnthony Thomas, but if Thomas looks good in his workout, he could be a nice addition to the Kansas City backfield.

Britt briefly existed Sunday's game against the Packers with a shoulder injury, but later returned to the action, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Britt entered Sunday's game with a knee concern and hurt his shoulder late in the first half. Although he eventually was able to return to the action, Britt still finished with zero catches for the second straight game, as the Rams' passing offense struggled mightily Sunday.
