Gilreath (undisclosed) was waived/injured by the Seahawks on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports.
The Seahawks were carrying double-digit receivers through most of training camp, and with Gilreath ranking near the bottom of that list, he had little chance of making the 53-man roster.

Raiders signed WR David Gilreath and waived P Daniel Zychlinski.
It's a bottom-of-the-roster move for offseason depth. A former undrafted free agent, Gilreath hasn't appeared in the NFL since 2012. The Raiders also waived WRs Jared Green and Noel Grigsby in corresponding moves.

Steelers signed WR David Gilreath and NT Alameda Ta'amu from the team's practice squad.
Gilreath had a cup of coffee with the Steelers earlier in the year, playing in three games and catching one pass for seven yards. Ta'amu was a fourth-round pick out of Washington in this past year's draft, but he later got arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated and was waived in October. Both players will fight for roster spots this upcoming offseason.

Gilreath could be a threat to Roscoe Parrish, who has averaged 7.7 yards per on 18 punt returns. S Cody Grimm (hamstring) and OL Jeremy Trueblood (undisclosed) were placed on injured reserve, in corresponding moves.

Steelers promoted WR David Gilreath from the practice squad.
It's an indication Antonio Brown (ankle) will be inactive for Monday's game. An undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin, Gilreath will be limited to special teams if he's active against the Chiefs.
