Mon Dec 15 201417:07Moore has hamstring injury
Moore has a hamstring injury, but there's a chance he could still play Sunday against the Panthers, the Akron Beacon Journal's Nate Ulrich reports.
Moore has yet to play this season, and even if he is cleared, the Browns' quarterback situation and Moore's spot on the depth chart make him unappealing in fantasy.
Tue Sep 9 201416:51Moore activated from suspended list Tuesday
Moore was activated from the suspended list Tuesday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
The reason for Moore's one-game ban is unknown, but he'll be available as depth at wideout in Sunday's game against the Saints, if he manages to avoid the inactive list.
Sat Aug 30 201419:19Moore suspended for first game of season
Moore has been suspended for the first game of the season, The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Brown wasn't listed on the 53-man roster, but that's apparently because he's suspended, which means he actually made the team. While likely fifth or sixth on the depth chart, Moore at least finds himself on a team with minimal talent at wide receiver. He caught six passes for the Dolphins in each of three seasons (2010, 2012 and 2013), and his skill set is nothing to get excited about. A former undrafted free agent, Moore is a bit undersized with solid but unspectacular speed.
Mon Jul 28 201419:28Browns sign WR Marlon Moore
Browns signed WR Marlon Moore.
Moore, 27 in September, appeared in 14 games between the Dolphins and 49ers last season, catching seven passes for 62 yards. He was handed a one-game suspension in May and won't be available to play until Week 2, no matter what team he's on. Jobs are up for grabs in Cleveland's jumbled receiver corps.

Wed May 21 201413:29Free agent WR Marlon Moore banned 1 game
NFL suspended free agent WR Marlon Moore one game.
We assume it's for a violation of the league's personal conduct or substance-abuse policy. A PEDs suspension would be a four-game ban. A career backup and special teamer, Moore caught seven passes for 62 yards in 14 games between the 49ers and Dolphins last season. The 26-year-old can return in Week 2.

Dolphins signed WR Marlon Moore.
WR Ryan Spadola was waived in a corresponding roster move. Moore was waived by the 49ers last Wednesday. A fourth-year undrafted free agent, Moore made 29 appearances for the Dolphins between 2010-12, but has only 13 career catches. He's not going to have a role on offense.

49ers waived WR Marlon Moore.
Moore was active for six games with the 49ers, but had just one catch for six yards. With Brandon Gibson (knee) out for the season, the Miami Herald speculates he could draw interest from the Dolphins once he clears waivers.

49ers declared WR Marlon Moore, WR Quinton Patton, G Joe Looney, OLB Jermaine Cunningham, RB LaMichael James, QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson, and CB Nnamdi Asomugha inactive for Week 7 against the Titans.
Moore, Asomugha, and James are healthy scratches. Patton is still out with a foot injury. NT Glenn Dorsey (hamstring) is active and will start.

Sun Sep 22 201320:23Marlon Moore again held without catch

Moore now has one catch through three games. The clear-out specialist is miles from fantasy value.

Mon Sep 16 201301:55Marlon Moore has one catch on Sunday night
Marlon Moore had one catch for six yards in Week 2 against the Seahawks.
Moore continues to have a limited role as the No. 3 receiver and is behind Anquan Boldin, Vernon Davis, and Kyle Williams for targets. He remains off the fantasy radar.

Sun Sep 8 201320:46Marlon Moore records no catches in opener
Marlon Moore did not catch a pass in Sunday's Week 1 win over the Packers.
Kyle Williams started opposite Anquan Boldin, leaving Moore with extremely limited snaps as the No. 3 receiver. We wouldn't expect his role to grow as the Niners would find more upside in rookie Quinton Patton if they wanted to make a switch. Moore should not be on any fantasy rosters.

Wed Sep 4 201312:03Marlon Moore to run clearouts for Niners
49ers WR Marlon Moore is expected to primarily run clear-out routes.
Moore started all four preseason games opposite Anquan Boldin. The Sac Bee says it looks like he'll be in a lot of one-wideout packages that involve him running a go pattern so they can clear out the safety for a Frank Gore run. Rookie Quinton Patton has more upside as a wait-and-see stash.

Sun Aug 25 201321:4649ers start Marlon Moore for 3d straight week
49ers WR Marlon Moore caught three passes for 32 yards in Sunday night's preseason game against the Vikings.
It's time to start taking Moore seriously in re-draft leagues, not as a draft pick necessarily but putting him on the radar. He's started each of San Francisco's first three preseason games at "X" receiver, and Colin Kaepernick has the talent to elevate the performance of players around him. Through three preseason contests, Moore has four receptions for 44 yards, playing sparingly with the rest of San Fransisco's first-team group.

Sat Aug 17 201312:51Marlon Moore still starting for 49ers
Marlon Moore has started each of the 49ers' two preseason games at X receiver.
It's Michael Crabtree's old position. Moore is also being treated as a starter, playing sparingly. A fourth-year veteran with 12 career catches, it's still difficult to imagine Moore entering the season with San Francisco's first-team offense. Look for Moore to be unseated by Kyle Williams, Mario Manningham, or a receiver acquired via waivers or trade closer to final cuts.

Fri Aug 9 201312:18Marlon Moore starts at X receiver
Marlon Moore was the 49ers' starting X receiver in Thursday night's preseason opener.
Telling. The Niners essentially have nothing behind Vernon Davis, Anquan Boldin, and perhaps Vance McDonald in their pass-catching corps. Moore caught one pass for 12 yards against the Broncos, while "competitor" A.J. Jenkins fumbled away his lone catch. Either the 49ers need to make a move, or they need to give Austin Collie a serious look. Collie caught two balls for 20 yards.

Sat Mar 9 201312:38Dolphins don't tender several players
The Dolphins declined to tender restricted free agents WR Marlon Moore, S Jonathon Amaya, TE Jeron Mastrud, and DB Bryan McCann, and exclusive rights free agent Patrick Brown, making them unrestricted free agents.
The Dolphins want some of the above players back, but weren't willing to pay the cost of the lowest possible tender. Moore, 25, caught six passes for 116 yards and a touchdown last season. Amaya and McCann play special teams.

Sun Oct 14 201217:28Marlon Moore goes for 46 yards in win
Marlon Moore caught three passes for 46 yards in Miami's Week 6 win over the Rams.
The catches were Moore's first of the season. His 29-yard touchdown in the second quarter was just the second of his career, and came on a badly busted coverage. Although it's nice to see Moore get off the schneid, he was only involved at all because the Rams were intent on letting anyone besides Reggie Bush and Brian Hartline beat them. Moore remains off the radar.

Tue Nov 1 201118:43Dolphins place WR Marlon Moore on I.R.
Dolphins placed WR Marlon Moore (foot) on injured reserve, ending his season.
A core special teamer, Moore suffered the foot injury in last week's game against the Giants. The coaching staff appreciates his speed, but he's managed just six receptions in 15 games the past two years. He'll likely be back to vie for a special teams role in 2012.
