Thu Aug 12 202110:55Brady Singer Hit Hard In His Return From Injury
Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Brady Singer returned from the injured list to make his 20th start of the year against the New York Yankees on Wednesday. He had a rough outing, pitching 3 2/3 innings and allowing 10 hits, three walks and five earned runs while striking out two. Singer was sidelined for about three weeks due to right shoulder fatigue. Over his 20 starts this year, he has a 5.42 ERA and a 1.63 WHIP. He's been a bit unlucky this year as his xERA is just 4.25, but he's still not someone worth rostering in any fantasy formats for now. He'll make his next start on Wednesday against the Houston Astros.

Kansas City Royals pitcher Brady Singer (shoulder) was officially activated from the 10-day injured list and will start Wednesday's game against the New York Yankees. He's been out since July 20 with right shoulder fatigue. The 25-year-old owns a 5.13 ERA, 1.55 WHIP, and a 92:37 K: BB across 87 2/3 innings in 2021. Singer surrendered seven earned runs over 4 2/3 innings in his last two rehab starts. Fantasy managers should avoid using Singer as a streamer as he hasn't pitched well most of 2021.

Sun Aug 8 202117:48Brady Singer To Return On Wednesday Against Yankees
Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Brady Singer (shoulder) will make his return on Wednesday, taking the mound against the New York Yankees. Singer has been out since July 20 while dealing with right shoulder fatigue. The team also announced that a six-man rotation will be utilized upon Singer's return. Both Daniel Lynch and Carlos Hernandez have been pitching well enough to hold onto their rotation spots and the team will keep them in the rotation for now. Singer has had an uneven sophomore year in the majors. Through 19 starts, he's gone 3-7 with a 5.13 ERA and 1.55 WHIP.

Fri Jul 30 202117:31Brady Singer Starts Rehab Assignment On Friday
Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Brady Singer (shoulder) is set to begin his rehab assignment Friday night for Triple-A Omaha, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reported. The 24-year-old right-hander was placed on the 10-day IL on July 20 due to right shoulder fatigue. While it isn't uncommon to give a fatigued young pitcher some time off, Singer also hasn't looked very good so far this season. With a 5.13 ERA, 1.55 WHIP, and 92/37 K/BB over 19 starts, there is little reason for managers to hold onto the second-year starter.
