LHP Daniel Coulombe was recalled from Triple-A Nashville and worked 1 2/3 scoreless innings in his fourth appearance with the Athletics. Coulombe allowed one walk and posted one strikeout in lowering his ERA to 3.68. In 16 relief appearances with the Sounds, Coulombe posted a 0.45 ERA and .171 opponents' batting average.

LHP Daniel Coulombe saw action in just three games before being optioned to Triple-A Nashville on Wednesday. The reliever was the odd man out as the A's made room for RHP Zach Neal to return so he could make Wednesday's start.

LHP Daniel Coulombe was promoted from Triple-A Nashville to fill the roster spot created when the A's placed RHP Sonny Gray (strained trapezius) on the disabled list Sunday. He got right into the action Sunday, pitching two hitless innings in Oakland's loss to the Yankees. The reliever spent one day in the majors earlier this month, allowing three runs in two innings at Boston on May 10. He struck out five in two innings (no runs allowed) in two appearances at Triple-A Nashville after being demoted on May 11.

LHP Daniel Coulombe had his contract selected from Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday. He gave up three runs on three hits and two walks, but struck out two in two innings Tuesday at Boston. "He's a guy that's always had numbers where he's gotten right-handers out too, so if you're looking for a guy that maybe gives you, you need to get through the lineup one time, gives you a little bit more based on the fact that he can get both lefties and righties out," Athletics manager Bob Melvin said. Coulombe had a 0.64 ERA with 14 strikeouts over 14 innings in 11 appearances with Nashville this season.

Coulombe was traded to the Athletics on Thursday.

Coulombe will give the club some added organizational bullpen depth, pitching most of the season at Triple-A Oklahoma City before a brief stint with the Dodgers that went poorly. It's unclear exactly what the club plans to do with him, but he will be a member of the 40-man roster at the very least.

Coulombe was designated for assignment by the Dodgers on Sunday.

Coulombe struggled in his short stint with Dodgers, posting a 7.56 ERA and 1.80 WHIP over 8.1 innnings in five outings. He wasn't spectacular at Triple-A Oklahoma City either, and will lose his spot on the 40-man roster as a result.

Coulombe was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday, MLB.com's Ken Gurnick reports.

Coulombe will give the Dodgers an extra arm in relief, taking the roster spot of Carlos Frias (back) who was placed on the DL in a corresponding move. The lefty reliever hasn't been particularly effective during four prior appearances in the majors this season, giving up six earned runs over 6.1 innings. His time with the Dodgers will likely be short-lived once again.

Coulombe was optioned back to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday, Dylan Hernandez of the LA Times reports.

Coulombe has been recalled four separate times already this season, and he'll head back to Triple-A after spending just four days with the Dodgers during this most recent stint. Coulombe allowed two earned runs in Friday's loss to the Giants and one earned run on two hits in a win Sunday.

Coulombe was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday, David Vassegh of 570 AM LA Sports reports.

Coulombe will provide the Dodgers with another left-handed option out of the bullpen after spending just over the minimum of 10 days in the minors. The 25-year-old made just two appearances with the Dodgers, but allowed three earned runs on three hits and three walks in 3.1 innings. He did manage four strikeouts, but figures to serve almost exclusively in middle relief.

Coulombe was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday.

Coulombe has been up and down between Triple-A and the majors in the past couple weeks, but his most recent appearance against the Cardinals (two runs in 2.1 innings) left much to be desired. That being said, the 25-year-old has shown promise at Oklahoma City and could get another opportunity in the majors soon.

The 25-year-old lefty has been outstanding in 13 appearances with Oklahoma City this season, allowing two earned runs in 15.2 innings (1.15 ERA) with an 18:4 K:BB. Coulombe has, however, posted a reverse platoon split, and the Dodgers have several other lefty options, so he will likely be used primarily in middle relief with Los Angeles.

Coulombe was sent back down to Triple-A on Friday, the Orange County Register's Bill Plunkett reports.

This move was to open up a spot for Kenley Jansen, who was activated from the DL on Friday. Coulombe will continue to provide organizational bullpen depth.

Coulombe was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday.

With Pedro Baez (chest) being placed on the 15-day disabled list, the Dodgers have an open spot in their bullpen. However, Kenley Jansen (foot) is expected to return this weekend, so Coulombe's stay in the majors may be brief. The lefty has been impressive for Triple-A Oklahoma City this season, posting a 1.59 ERA, 2.18 FIP, 12.7 K/9 and 3.2 BB/9 over 11.1 innings.

Coulombe was optioned back to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday.

The Dodgers recalled Joe Wieland from Triple-A to start Wednesday's game, so Coulombe will be sent back down to clear a roster spot. Coulombe appeared in Tuesday's win over the Brewers, allowing one run on one hit in 1.0 inning.

Coulombe has been recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City, MLB.com's Ken Gurnick reports.

Coulombe has struck out 16 batters over 10.1 innings of work at Triple-A Oklahoma City this season. He will add depth to the Dodgers' bullpen, but it's unlikely that he'll be used in high leverage situations at this point.

Coulombe was optioned to the minors on Monday, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Coulombe nearly made the Dodgers' roster but he'll start the season in the minors and will more than likely get called-up at a later point in the season. Last season he spent the majority of the year in High-A before making 18 appearances at Double-A and finishing up with five September appearances in Los Angeles for the Dodgers.
