Tue May 18 201020:40Proctor continues to rehab in Florida
Scott Proctor, who is currently working his way back from Tommy John surgery, has spent the past month at the Braves' spring training facility in Florida.
"We were very encouraged with what we saw out of Scott in Spring Training," said Braves general manager Frank Wren. "Once he got into a regular workload with Gwinnett, it was apparent that he needed more time. Rather than doing it haphazardly by starting the program in the middle, we went back to the start to make sure it's a progression we can continue to build off of." Proctor posted an 11.25 ERA over eight appearances with Triple-A Gwinnett before being moved to Florida. He now throws batting practice on a regular basis and is scheduled to complete a simulated appearance on Wednesday. There's no timetable as to when he'll resume pitching in the minor leagues.

Sat Apr 24 201014:59Proctor heads to GCL
Scott Proctor, who was rehabbing from Tommy John surgery at Triple-A Gwinnett, has been moved to the Braves' Gulf Coast League team.
Dave O'Brien reports that it wasn't a physical setback that necessitated the move, but rather Proctor's growing frustration. He gave up six runs on 10 hits in 3 1/3 innings over his last three outings, so it would be hard to blame him for being a little disappointed in those results. Proctor is just a year removed from his surgery, so a setback here isn't the end of the world, but we're sure he'd rather be heading to Atlanta than down to the GCL at this point.

Sun Apr 11 201018:03Proctor (TJ surgery) looking good in rehab
Scott Proctor (Tommy John surgery) tossed a pair of perfect innings for Triple-A Gwinnett in rehab appearances over the weekend.
The 33-year-old right-hander underwent the procedure last May and looks to be just about ready for a return to the major leagues. It's possible, if he keeps pitching well, that Proctor could be activated as early as next week.
