Thu Jan 1 201511:51Green (concussion) returned to practice Thursday
Green (concussion) returned to practice Thursday, Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official site reports.
While that's a step in the right direction, Green is still in the NFL's concussion protocol, so the wideout still has some hurdles to clear before being cleared to play as Sunday's 1:05 ET kickoff against the Colts approaches. With that in mind, Green is slated to be seen by a neurologist Friday morning, at which time the Bengals hope that the wideout will be cleared for a full practice later that day.

Green (concussion) did not practice Wednesday, Paul Dehner Jr. of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Green remains under the NFL's concussion protocol at this stage, with another update on his status on tap no later than Thursday, once the Bengals practice again.
Wed Dec 31 201411:09As of Wednesday
As of Wednesday, Green is still under the NFL's concussion protocol, Paul Dehner Jr. of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
As a result, Green isn't expected to practice Wednesday, with his status for the Bengals' playoff opener against the Colts thus worth closely tracking in advance of Sunday's 1:05 ET kickoff.
Mon Dec 29 201400:08A.J. Green: Entering Concusison Protocol
Green left Sunday's game late in the fourth quarter after taking a hard hit to the head, and he will be subject to the NFL's concussion protocol, Paul Dehner Jr. of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
The diagnosis was essentially a given, as Green was hit directly in the head by a defender, just a split-second after getting stripped by another defender. Already playing through a biceps bruise that's believed to be fairly serious, Green was down on the field for a couple of minutes, before walking off in an apparent daze. He caught eight passes for 82 yards in Sunday's game, but he needed 13 targets to get there, and he was partially responsible for two turnovers. Prior to the fumble, a ball tipped off his hands during the first half, leading to an easy interception for the Steelers. The throw from Andy Dalton was poor, but it was the kind of catch that Green typically makes. If Green isn't available for Sunday's playoff game against the Colts, Cincinnati will have extra targets to divide between Mohamed Sanu, Jermaine Gresham, Brandon Tate and Dane Sanzenbacher. While he has since all but disappeared, Sanu stepped up in a big way when Green missed time earlier in the season.

Green (bicep) is listed as active for Sunday night's game against the Steelers.
It's unclear how close to 100 percent Green will be while playing through his bicep injury, but he'll give it a go Sunday for the Bengals, with the AFC North title and corresponding playoff seeding advantage on the line.

Green (bicep) practiced fully Friday and is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official site reports.
Good news for Green owners, especially with the Bengals kicking off late this week, as the probable designation all but secures the wideout's Week 17 availability.

Green (bicep) was listed as a limited participant on Thursday's practice report, Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official site reports.
We'll have to see how the Bengals official list Green for Sunday night's game against the Steelers, but his listed practice participation -- albeit limited -- appears to bode well for his chances of suiting up for the contest.
Wed Dec 24 201414:43Green (bicep) didn't practice Wednesday
Green (bicep) didn't practice Wednesday, Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official site reports.
Green indicated Wednesday that his bruised right bicep is progressing and that he can move it more than he could when he injured it Monday night. When asked if he'd be able to play Sunday against the Steelers, Green said "we'll see," but the chances of that being the case would obviously brighten if the wideout were able to practice later in the week.
Tue Dec 23 201404:07A.J. Green: Suffers Bruised Biceps, X-Rays Negative
Green (biceps), who finished Monday's game with zero catches on four targets, said afterward that he expects to play against the Steelers in Week 17,ESPN.com reports.
Green suffered a bruised biceps early in the first quarter, and while X-rays came back negative, he was still unable to contribute to the Bengals' cause. He was on-and-off the field throughout the night, forcing Cincinnati to rely on Jermaine Gresham and Giovani Bernard in the passing game. Despite what happened Monday night, Green will be an attractive option in most formats for Week 17, if he is able to play. The Bengals get to face a porous Steelers secondary, with the AFC North title on the line. The game has been flexed to Sunday night, which will make things tricky in the event that Green's a game-time decision.

Green (arm) is now listed as questionable to return to Monday's game against Denver.
Green went to the locker room for X-rays after taking a hit to his arm from T.J. Ward near the end of the first quarter. He was initially listed as probable to return, although now the Bengals have downgraded that designation to questionable.

Green injured his arm in the first quarter of Monday night's game against Denver and is undergoing a precautionary X-ray, Fox Sports Ohio's Joe Reedy reports. He's considered probable to return.
Green exited early in the game after taking a hard hit to the arm from Denver's T.J. Ward. He was examined on the sideline before returning to the game, but he exited again near the end of the first quarter to undergo the X-ray. Green has been targeted twice but hasn't recorded a catch.

Green (illness) is listed as active for Monday's game against Denver.
After sitting out Thursday's practice with an illness, the Bengals' top wideout returned to work on Friday and he's good to go Monday night, as expected.
Fri Dec 19 201415:38Green (illness) practiced fully Friday
Green (illness) practiced fully Friday, ESPN's Coley Harvey reports.
Unless the Bengals remove him from their Week 16 injury report, Green figures to be listed as probable for Monday's game against the Broncos, but the wideout's full practice participation Friday suggests that his availability for that contest is secure.

Green looked no worse for the wear on Friday and should be fine for Monday night's tilt against the Broncos. The Bengals will release their official injury designations Saturday.

The report adds that Green should be back on the field Friday, which would put the wideout on track to play in Monday's game against the Broncos.
Thu Dec 18 201414:35Green (unspecified issue) did not practice Thursday
Green (unspecified issue) did not practice Thursday, the Bengals' official site reports.

Green had five receptions for 49 yards in Sunday's 30-0 victory over the Browns.
A below-average game by Green's lofty standards, but with the rushing attack firing on all cylinders and the sputtering Browns offense not requiring the Bengals to be overly aggressive when they had the ball, there wasn't much need for quarterback Andy Dalton to take a lot of shots downfield. Green still was on the receiving end of a team-high 11 targets and will continue to be targeted frequently next Monday night against the Broncos.
Sun Dec 7 201419:40A.J. Green: (Thigh) Career-High 224 Yards
Green (thigh) had 11 catches on 15 targets for a career-high 224 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's loss to the Steelers.
Green set a career-high with 12 receptions just two weeks ago, and he now has a touchdown in two straight games, and three in his last four. He is unquestionably the top wideout in Cincinnati and is a top-tier fantasy option in any given game. However, it will likely be a tougher time in Week 15 at Cleveland, especially if cornerback Joe Haden matches up against him all game. Green had three catches on 10 targets for 23 yards against the Browns back in Week 10.
Sun Dec 7 201411:34Green (thigh) active for Sunday's game against rival Steelers
Green (thigh) is active for Sunday's game against the rival Steelers.
Green is good to go in this matchup against a Steelers defense that is giving up a lot of passing touchdowns this season.

Green (thigh) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Steelers, ESPN's Coley Harvey reports.
Green was limited in practice earlier this week, but the probable designation indicates that the Bengals' star wideout is on track to be a go for Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff against the Steelers.
