Mon Jul 7 201411:34Raptors will have Nogueira at summer league
The Raptors will have Lucas Nogueira on their summer league roster.
He was just dealt to the Raptors on a Lou Williams trade and the Raptors will give him a look. Nogueira was a factor at summer league last year and displayed his length, so we'll see if he's added a little polish to his game. He's too raw to draft in most leagues next season.

Lucas Nogueira is currently working out in Atlanta.
He played in Spain last season after showing his potential at Las Vegas Summer League. Nogueira won't be playing in Spain this year and will either join the Hawks or play in Euroleague. He's not on the fantasy radar despite some intriguing blocking numbers in his brief career.

Mon Jun 9 201409:48Lucas Nogueira expected to play in Vegas
Lucas Nogeira is expected to play in Las Vegas Summer League in July.
The NBA world got to know the 7'0" Brazilian last July and he does need some work. Although, Nogueira did block 2.4 shots per game in 21.8 minutes thanks to his 7'6" wingspan. He will either play in Euroleague or join the Hawks in 2014-15.

Sat May 24 201416:18Lucas Nogueira moving from Spain
Lucas Nogueira said he will not re-sign in Spain and could join the Hawks or play in Euroleague.
He has a buyout of $600,000 from the Hawks, who own his draft rights. Noguiera is all arms and legs, but he does have some nice upside as a defensive big man. He was in Vegas last summer and could get another chance to show what he could do again in July.

Fri May 23 201409:20Hawks checking out Lucas Nogueria
Hawks general manager Danny Ferry and coach Mike Budenholzer traveled to Spain to watch Lucas Nogueira on Wednesday.
He was drafted last year and the Hawks had him on their Las Vegas Summer League roster, where he averaged 2.4 blocks to go with 6.4 points and 6.0 boards in just 21.8 minutes. Noguiera dealt with some knee tendinitis while playing in Spain this past season, finishing with averages of 6.4 points and 4.2 boards in 17 minutes. The Hawks retain his draft rights, but the slim seven-footer seems unlikely to be NBA bound in 2014-15.

Mon May 12 201412:10Lucas Nogueira to play in Hawks summer league
Hawks prospect Lucas Nogueira is expected to play for Atlanta during the Las Vegas summer league in July.
The slim 7'0" center was drafted No. 16 overall in 2013 and he may jump to the NBA next season, but it's debatable how big an impact he'd have as a rookie. He was recently named the top defender in Spain's ACB League, despite modest season averages of 6.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game.

Wed Apr 9 201412:51Lucas Nogueira earns Best Defender honors
Hawks draft pick Lucas Nogueira has been named the top defender in Spain's ACB League.
Nogueira missed many weeks with severe knee tendinitis and bruising, but he obviously did well upon his return to Spain. He finished the season averaging 6.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in only 17 minutes per game, and he'll have a steep climb to fantasy relevance whenever he joins the Hawks.

Mon Mar 3 201412:21Hawks draft pick Lucas Nogueira back on court
Hawks draft pick Lucas Nogueira (knee tendinitis) returned to action for his team in Spain on Sunday.
The 7'0" center spent 10 weeks in Atlanta receiving treatment for "severe tendinitis" and it's great to see him back on the court, even if he's irrelevant for fantasy purposes this season.

Sun Feb 16 201419:48Lucas Nogueira (knees) headed back to Spain
Hawks draft pick Lucas Nogueira will return to Spain next week after getting 10 weeks of treatment for severe knee tendinitis in the U.S.
It's not encouraging to see a 21-year-old crippled by tendinitis but the good news is that he's healthy enough to resume playing for Tuenti MĒvil Estudiantes in Spain. It's possible that Atlanta will sign him for the 2014-15 season and we'll keep an eye on his development and health over the summer.

Lucas Nogueira has returned to Atlanta to have Hawks doctors help him recover from severe tendinitis in both knees.
He's out at least two months and will return to play in Spain whenever he's healthy, so this news doesn't have any fantasy implications.

Tue Aug 13 201310:24Ferry still encouraged with Lucas Nogueira
Hawks general manager Danny Ferry is still "encouraged" with first-round pick Lucas Nogueira.
"We are very encouraged by what we've seen from Lucas this summer," Ferry said. "Going back to Estudiantes will allow him to continue develop while also playing meaningful minutes against very good competition. We will closely monitor his progress as he works towards his goals as a basketball player." The 21-year-old big man will play in Spain next season, but the Hawks still have his draft rights. Once he develops, Nogueira has some length and could be a useful player around the basket.

Mon Aug 12 201318:36Lucas Nogueira to remain in Spain this season
Hawks first-round pick Lucas Nogueira will remain in Spain this season.
The team decided to let Nogueira continue to develop in Spain instead of trying to find him minutes in their crowded front-court. The 7-footer averaged 6.4 points and 6.0 rebounds per game during the Summer League, but was often pushed around under the basket and the team would like him to add weight to his frame.

Mon Jul 29 201311:11Lucas Nogueira likely headed to Spain
Lucas Nogueira is "most likely" headed to Spain for next season.
It make the rookie was headed overseas with the Hawks picking up Gustavo Ayon on Sunday evening. He's fairly athletic considering he has a 7'6" wingspan and put up a few highlight-reel jams in Vegas earlier this month. A buyout of his contract could save the team about $1 million. On the lighter side, the Hawks Twitter account wished Nogueira a Happy Birthday on Saturday.

Thu Jul 25 201312:30Hawks close to buying out Lucas Nogueira
The Hawks are close to buying out the contract of Lucas Nogueira.
The team is reportedly concerned about him going overseas to Spain and the move could save them just under $1 million. Nogueira had some impressive highlights in summer leagues with a slew of dunks while protecting the rim. He's extremely raw, so it might be a while before he makes an impact in the NBA.

Fri Jul 19 201310:15Hawks facing dilemma with Lucas Nogueira
The Hawks must decide whether to return first-round pick Lucas Nogueira to Europe to keep him in the NBA this season.
Nogueira is extremely raw and needs to add serious muscle to his seven-foot frame. He would likely get a lot more playing time in Spain, but if his body is the main concern, even Nogueira admits he's probably better off to remain with the Hawks. "I know I can improve my game in Spain. I improved so much this year from last year," Nogueira said. "Right now, the most important thing is my body. I can't improve my body in Spain. I'm perfect to stay here because the most important thing is to improve my body."

Fri Jul 12 201320:13Lucas Nogueira as advertised in SL debut
Lucas Nogueira played 29 minutes against the Clippers on Friday and had 10 points, eight boards, two assists, one steal and one block.
The seven-footer has ridiculous length with a 7'6" wingspan and he was a force on the offensive glass with three boards on that end on Friday. Nogueira is extremely raw and wasn't really given an opportunity to create his own shot, so he's unlikely to make an impact in the NBA his first year.
