Wed Mar 11 201516:08Bradford (knee) expected to resume throwing by OTAs
Bradford (knee) is expected to resume throwing by OTAs, Albert Breer of NFL Network reports.
Prior to Tuesday's trade to the Eagles, Bradford had been a fixture at the Rams' training facility on a regular basis as he works his knee back to full health following a second ACL tear. He's been cleared to resume running and should steadily increase his activities from here, potentially putting him on track to be ready for the start of 2015. Bradford currently tops the Eagles' quarterback depth chart, but with the NFL Draft still a few weeks away, his standing with the organization could certainly change before the summer ends.
Tue Mar 10 201516:14Sam Bradford: Will Be Traded To Eagles For Foles
Bradford (knee) will be traded to the Eagles in exchange for fellow quarterback Nick Foles, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.
With Foles headed the other way to St. Louis, Bradford becomes the clear favorite to start for the Eagles in Week 1. It now seems much less likely that the team will trade up to draft Marcus Mariota, though it still shouldn't be ruled out, as Bradford has just one year remaining on his contract. If Bradford does indeed start for the Eagles, he'll be in charge of a fast-paced offense with an excellent offensive line and questionable skill-position weapons. Of course, with much of the offseason still to come, Philadelphia still has time to replace LeSean McCoy and Jeremy Maclin. This could provide a huge boost to Bradford's fantasy value, given that Mark Sanchez provided serviceable numbers as the Eagles' starting quarterback late last season. Sanchez was recently re-signed to a two-year contract, but he's highly unlikely to start over a healthy Bradford. Also worth keeping in mind is that Bradford is coming back from the second torn ACL of his career.

The Rams are looking to restructure the final year of Bradford's (knee) contract, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
ACL woes in back-to-back campaigns have led to Bradford playing in just 25 of the Rams' past 32 games, with the QB due a base salary of $12.985 million in 2015. The report suggests a potential scenario in which the Rams reduce Bradford's base salary this coming season, while restructuring his deal in such a way that he could recoup much of the money by reaching incentives. In any event, Bradford's future with the Rams continues to hinge on a combo of the signal-caller re-proving his health and the clarification of his contract status.

Bradford indicated that his rehab from the torn ACL that he sustained on Aug. 23 is going well at this stage, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. "I've been running for the past couple weeks," Bradford noted Tuesday. "Really seem to have kind of turned the corner in the past three or four weeks as far as what I'm doing in rehab now...There haven't been any setbacks."
Bradford thus figures to be ready to go by the time training camp rolls around in advance the 2015 season. At that time, the report suggests that he'll have to compete for the team's starting assignment. "There's going to be competition at the quarterback position, there's no doubt," according to coach Jeff Fisher. "With somebody that's not in the building right now. We're hopeful for that." Meanwhile, Bradford -- who is due $13 million in base salary in 2015 on the final year of his rookie deal -- is a candidate to have his deal tweaked, with Fisher suggesting on that front that he is "confident we'll sort some things out."
Tue Aug 26 201415:15Bradford (knee) placed on injured reserve Tuesday
Bradford (knee) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Bradford will miss the entire season after tearing his left ACL Saturday for the second time in 10 months. With Bradford slated for another surgery, Shaun Hill is expected to fill the Rams' starting quarterback position this season.
Sun Aug 24 201418:40Sam Bradford: (Knee) Out For The Season
Head coach Jeff Fisher confirmed Sunday that Bradford will miss the entire 2014 season with a torn left ACL.
An MRI taken Sunday revealed the tear in Bradford's knee, and Fisher left no doubt that Bradford's season is over. Shaun Hill is next in line to take over as the Rams' starting quarterback.
Sun Aug 24 201415:56Sam Bradford: Reportedly Suffers Torn ACL
An MRI has reportedly revealed that Bradford tore the ACL in his left knee during Saturday's game against the Browns, ESPN.com reports.
Bradford, who tore his ACL in the same knee last season, is thus in line to miss the coming season, assuming the report is confirmed. Shaun Hill is now in line to take over the team's top job, though it wouldn't surprise us to see the team add further depth at the position in the coming days.

Despite initial optimism regarding the left knee injury that Bradford suffered in Saturday's preseason game, ESPN's Adam Schefter suggests that there are now fears that the quarterback may have sustained a torn ACL.
Coach Jeff Fisher is slated to address the media later Sunday, so there should be some additional follow-up on Bradford's status as the day progresses, but the situation is clearly concerning. In the event that Bradford is forced to miss extended time, Shaun Hill would be next in line for the team's QB snaps, though it's also possible that the Rams could consider dealing for another signal-caller in such a scenario.

Bradford (knee) is optimistic about being able to make a quick return following an injury scare that forced him out of Saturday's preseason game versus the Browns, ESPN.com reports.
Bradford exited Saturday's contest after taking a hit on his surgically repaired left knee, but initial tests thankfully revealed no ACL damage. While the Rams' signal-caller was seen limping to the team's locker room, Bradford is reportedly walking normally now. Nonetheless, St. Louis' medical staff will still conduct a battery of tests to thoroughly evaluate the condition of Bradford's knee. Despite coach Jeff Fisher indicating the incident may have been just some sort of hyperextension, more definitive news should surface Sunday to project Bradford's status ahead of the regular season.
Sat Aug 23 201422:49Sam Bradford: No Damage To ACL
Bradford, who will undergo further testing Sunday, "dodged a bullet" when an initial evaluation Saturday showed no damage to the ACL in his left knee, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Removed from Saturday's preseason tilt in Cleveland after taking a hit, Bradford displayed an evident limp before heading to the locker room. He seemingly avoided the worst of the worst, but there has been no timetable given for his eventual return to action. In the meantime, Shaun Hill will be behind center in St. Louis.
Sat Aug 23 201421:28Sam Bradford: Injures Knee Saturday
Bradford left Saturday's preseason outing at Cleveland due to a knee injury and won't return, Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports 1 reports.
According to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Bradford appeared to hurt his left knee, which suffered a torn ACL in Week 7 of last season. Any aggravation of the region is a worry, but the Rams won't release further information on the ailment Saturday. In his stead, Shaun Hill is the main man to direct the offense.
Sat Aug 23 201420:49Sam Bradford: Leaves Saturday's Game With Leg Injury
Bradford left Saturday's preseason game in Cleveland due to a leg injury, Tony Grossi of ESPN Cleveland reports.
Bradford walked off the field with an evident limp and immediately headed to the locker room. The injury is especially worrisome due to the torn left ACL that ended his 2013 campaign prematurely. The extent of the ailment should be known in the near future, and if he misses any time, Shaun Hill will helm the Rams' offense.
Sat Aug 16 201423:21Sam Bradford: Successful First Outing Since Torn ACL
Bradford completed 9-of-12 passes for 101 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's preseason defeat to the Packers.
Making his first appearance since tearing the ACL in his left knee in Week 7 last year, Bradford cobbled together two lengthy drives, the latter of which resulted in an 11-yard score to Lance Kendricks. The strike threaded the needle and is representative of the investment made in Bradford as the No. 1 pick in the 2010 draft. The third preseason game customarily includes the starters' most significant run, so expect him to play up to a half next Saturday in Cleveland.

Bradford is expected to play at least one quarter in Saturday's preseason game against the Packers, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Although Bradford has been a full-go in training camp, the Rams opted to hold him out of their first exhibition against the Saints last week as a way to manage the workload on his surgically repaired knee. They will begin easing him back into game action Saturday, with coach Jeff Fisher leaving the door open for Bradford to play into the second quarter.

Bradford is set to start Saturday's preseason game against Green Bay, ESPN.com reports.
Bradford likely will only see a series or two, but it will still be significant as he hasn't seen game speed in 300 days. Bradford struggled to click with his young receiving corps last year, but he has looked solid since camp began.
Fri Aug 8 201407:08As expected
As expected, Bradford will sit out Friday's preseason opener against the Saints, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
No surprise here, as the Rams don't want to risk Bradford's health, especially coming off an ACL injury. He should start the second preseason game and see a few series, however.

Bradford has impressed his coaches with more downfield passes and zip to his throws in camp, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Any concerns about Bradford's return from an ACL injury seem to be forgotten, and it appears Bradford spent the offseason working on his upper body strength as well. He has seemed poised for a breakout season for a few years now, and to most Rams fans and previous fantasy owners, it's now or never.
Fri Jul 25 201409:51Sam Bradford (knee) full-go for start of camp
Coach Jeff Fisher said Sam Bradford (knee) is full-go for the start of training camp.
"Sam is in great shape," Fisher said. "He's ready to go. We don't have (reservations) - right now as we speak, as camp starts - he's full-go. If we need to back him down here and there, we'll back him down." Bradford tore his ACL in Week 7 and participated in spring practices. Fisher added the Rams may hold him out of the preseason opener as a precaution, but he will get some exhibition work. He's entering the summer as a back-end QB2.

Mon May 12 201414:24Fisher triples down on Sam Bradford talk
Appearing on The Dan Patrick Show, Rams coach Jeff Fisher insisted the Rams never shopped Sam Bradford in the run up to the draft.
Fisher claimed that the Rams not only made zero calls, but received zero. It strains belief, but Bradford's contract always made a deal a long-shot. Yahoo's Charles Robinson reported Friday that the Rams would have given Johnny Manziel stronger consideration had they received a "significant trade offer" for Bradford. That's more plausible than Fisher's claim that Bradford's St. Louis future was never in doubt.
