Sims came off the bench against the Nets on Friday and was able to contribute 14 points, four rebounds, and one steal in 24 minutes.
Robert Covington moved into the starting lineup Friday and continued his hot streak, as a result, it seems like Sims has lost the starting center job moving forward. This doesn't leave much time for Sims to amount production as he was a fringe player in standard leagues to begin with.

Fri Sep 26 201413:59Sims will open camp as one of starters in frontcourt
Sims will open camp as one of the starters in the frontcourt, the Philly Inquirer reports.
Sims will join Nerlens Noel as one of the youngest duos in the post to open up training camp for the 2014-15 season. Sims finished last year playing well at center for the rebuilding Sixers, after he came over in a midseason trade from the Cavaliers. With the possibility of Joel Embiid returning at some point this season, there's a chance Sims may be demoted eventually, but for now he's locked in a spot in the starting lineup and will give Noel some experience playing with another big in anticipation of Embiid's return. It's going to be a long season for Sixers' fans, as there should be plenty of growing pains along the way for these young players.

Sims has been a blast to own and is finishing the season on a high note, averaging 16.0 points and 7.8 rebounds over his last five games. And with no other centers in sight in Philly, he should continue to play well until the final buzzer.

Sat Mar 29 201422:07Henry Sims beats up on Pistons frontcourt
Henry Sims looked great against the Pistons during Saturday's 123-98 win with 16 points, seven boards, one assist and one block in 27 minutes.
The Pistons may look like a decent defense on paper, but they are prone to giving up some big lines to centers. Believe it or not, Sims is playing very well over his last five with averages of 15.6 points, 9.6 boards, 2.8 assists, 0.6 blocks and 0.8 steals on 56.9 percent shooting. Those are must-own numbers.

Of course, Sims wasn't with the team back when he joined after the trade deadline. As far as specifics go, he's played very well and really has no competition, so he should be owned in standard leagues. Plus, it helps that garbage time won't hurt him.

Sat Mar 22 201423:09Henry Sims has career night vs. Noah
Henry Sims had 18 points, a caeer-high 15 rebounds and two blocks on 8-of-15 shooting in Saturday's loss to the Bulls.
The fact Sims did this against Joakim Noah is impressive and he's now averaging 17.0 points, 14.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks over his last two games. He had just four points and five rebounds on Wednesday, but has been a beast ever since. Maybe he can keep it going the rest of the way for the hapless Sixers, who lost their 24th straight game tonight.

Sat Mar 22 201400:48Sims goes for 16 and 13 against the Knicks
Henry Sims scored 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting (4-of-4 FTs) with 13 rebounds, two assists and no steals or blocks in Friday's loss to the Knicks.
Sims can no longer be ignored in fantasy leagues after posting late-round value over the last eight games, averaging 9.3 points with 7.0 boards, 2.3 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.6 blocks while hitting just 38.5 percent of his shots from the field. On the other hand his 80 percent foul shooting on 3.8 attempts per game over that span is nice for a big man. It all adds up to late-round value and this week hasn't been as good as the last, but he's worth an add if you need a big in 12-team leagues.

Thu Mar 20 201410:27Henry Sims making a case to stay in Philly
Henry Sims is making a good case for the Sixers to keep him around after this season.
After being acquired in a trade on February 20, Sims is averaging 8.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.0 steals in 11 games with the Sixers. "It's an opportunity," Sims said. "It's what I have been waiting for since I left school. Coach trusted me and put me in the starting lineup. It's my job to do what he asks. That's what I'm trying to do." The Sixers had a lack of frontcourt depth after trading Spencer Hawes and Sims has stepped into the role nicely. The Georgetown product has outplayed Byron Mullens and should be a valuable asset in deeper leagues as long as he is able to keep his minutes up.

Henry Sims logged 28 minutes in Monday's loss to the Pacers, scoring nine points on 3-of-10 shooting with 11 rebounds, three assists and one block.
Sims has created separation between he and Byron Mullens (15 minutes, five points, one three), and if he can log close to 30 minutes per night it's possible he retains some low-end value best suited for deeper formats.

Henry Sims had four points, six rebounds, two steals, zero blocks and four fouls in 23 minutes on Saturday, hitting just 1-of-4 shots.

Henry Sims came back to earth after a 20 and 10 game on Tuesday, scoring six points on 2-of-8 shooting with four rebounds and two steals in 21 minutes.

Wed Mar 12 201422:59Sims busts out a 20 and 10 night vs. Kings
Henry Sims had a career-night with 20 points on 5-of-12 shooting (10-of-11 FTs) with 10 rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks in the Sixers' loss to the Kings on Wednesday.
Sims vaults up into a top-100 value over the last six games on the heels of the big night, with averages of 10.7 points, 5.5 boards, 1.8 assists, 1.2 steals, 1.0 blocks and marks of 48.8 percent from the field and 82.8 percent from the line. The Kings' bad defense is predicated on terrible big man play across the entire roster, so there is a big-time outlier here but Sims is now worth a look if you need a big man.

Sat Mar 8 201422:22Henry Sims quiet in another start
Henry Sims hit 2-of-8 shots for five points, four rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block in 26 minutes in a start for the Sixers on Saturday.
He wasn't great tonight, but the Sixers' bigs struggled against the Jazz in this one. Sims is playing better than the Pelicans' Alexis Ajinca, and might be a safer fantasy play going forward, despite tonight's struggles.

Sat Mar 1 201422:32Henry Sims gets 24 minutes vs. Wizards
Henry Sims played 24 minutes against the Wizards on Saturday with seven points, four boards, one assist, one steal and one block.
He played the most minutes of the at center for the Sixers tonight and nobody else seems to want to take the starting job away from him. Byron Mullens, who scored six points with seven boards in 12 minutes, is probably Sims' stiffest competition. This is hands-off territory in standard leagues until further notice.
