Cobb is listed as probable for Sunday's regular-season opener against the Bears.

Cobb was limited throughout the week of practice, and while he acknowledged that his shoulder may bother him for a few weeks, he's been clear all along that he expects to play. Even at less than full strength, he should be a huge part of the offense in favorable matchup with the Bears.

While the range of motion in his shoulder remains limited as it heals, Cobb, who practiced on limited basis Wednesday, said "I'll be on the field Sunday," with reference his status for the Packers' regular season opener against the Bears, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports.

While Cobb plans to play this weekend, he acknowledged that his balky shoulder will remain an issue that he will have to deal with "for a few weeks." We'll continue to monitor the wideout's status in advance of Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff, but we suspect the Cobb is trending toward either a questionable or probable injury designation upon the release of Friday's official injury report.

An MRI on Cobb's shoulder has revealed an AC joint sprain, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.

Per the report, the injury is considered minor and given that Cobb initially feared that he had broken his collarbone Saturday, per ESPN.com, things could obviously have been much worse for the Packers' wideout. While Cobb's Week 1 status has not yet been clarified, a long-term absence does not appear to be in the cards, which has to be of considerable relief to the team in the wake of Jordy Nelson's recent season-ending injury.

X-rays on Cobb's shoulder injury showed no broken collarbone and he said he didn't think it would be a long-term injury, ESPN reports. Cobb will undergo more tests Sunday.

Cobb left Saturday's game in the first half with a right shoulder injury. It sounds like he avoided a major injury, but we'll know more about his availability for Week 1 after Sunday's tests.

In any case, Wilde confirms that Cobb is active and will play in Sunday's NFC Championship Game against the Seahawks.

Cobb and Davante Adams were each targeted 11 times by QB Aaron Rodgers in the game, with Cobb's biggest catch coming on a tipped pass on a third-and-11 play late in the game that helped Green Bay seal the win Sunday. Next up for Cobb and the Packers is a matchup against a tough Seattle defense in next weekend's NFC Championship game.

Cobb caught 4-of-5 targets for 80 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's win over the Lions.

In a game with the NFC North title and a first-round bye on the line, Cobb stepped up, scoring his 11th and 12th touchdowns of the season. However, the Lions boast one of the best defenses in the NFL, and they held Cobb to just three catches for 29 yards back in Week 3.

Cobb had seven catches on 13 targets for 96 yards Sunday against the Bills.

Cobb led the team in targets, receptions and receiving yards, though Jordy Nelson had a shot to overtake him on the latter two, but he dropped a sure 94-yard touchdown late in the game. The Packers return home in Week 16 to take on a Buccaneers defense allowing the ninth-most passing yards per game this season, while only four teams have allowed more passing touchdowns, which should keep Cobb high in the wideout rankings.

Cobb caught 4-of-5 targets for 58 yards in Monday's 43-37 win over the Falcons.

Cobb was efficient on the chances he got, but the targets were dominated by Jordy Nelson (10) and Eddie Lacy (nine). While Cobb did get another touch on an end-around in the red zone, he was stopped for a loss of one yard on the play. He's now gone four straight games without a touchdown, after scoring 10 through Green Bay's first nine games. The torrid pace from earlier this season never figured to continue, but Cobb is still a decent bet to reach the end zone each week, despite the recent results. The Packers will face a tough Bills defense in Buffalo on Sunday.

Cobb took somewhat of a backseat to rookie WR Davante Adams, who caught 6-of-11 targets for a career-high 121 yards. Even still, Cobb played an important role in the win, making a couple of nice third-down catches, including a huge seven-yard grab in the final two minutes to seal the win for Green Bay. He'll get a favorable matchup in Week 14, taking on a suspect Falcons' secondary.

Cobb had four catches on five targets for 58 yards Sunday against the Vikings.

Cobb came into the game on a seven-game streak of scoring at least one touchdown or recording at least 100 yards, though with the Packers focusing on the run Sunday, his fantasy upside became limited. Nevertheless, he remains a very solid fantasy option, though he's got a relatively tough matchup in Week 13 against the Patriots.
