Angel Sanchez is being treated for a strained intercostal muscle.
If it were the regular season, Sanchez would almost certainly be placed on the 15-day disabled list. But spring camp doesn't open for infielders for over a week and he should be able to catch up with the rest of the Astros' position players by the middle of the Grapefruit League schedule. Sanchez is expected to serve as a utility middle infielder this season in Houston.
