Tue Apr 19 201102:44Mariners' Bbadley hits second homer
Milton Bradley went 2-for-3 with a homer and two walks Monday against the Tigers.
In light of Franklin Gutierrez's setback, Bradley shouldn't have to worry about losing playing time anytime soon. He's hitting .263 with two homers and eight RBI.

Tue Apr 12 201101:58Mariners' Bradley hits first homer
Milton Bradley went 2-for-4 and hit his first homer Monday versus the Blue Jays.
Bradley went 0-for-8 in the series against the Indians before sitting Sunday, but he was right back in the third spot in the order today. Sadly, he probably is Seattle's best option there.

Mon Apr 4 201123:03Bradley notches three hits in loss to Texas
Milton Bradley went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in Seattle's loss to the Ranges on Monday night.
The mercurial outfielder is now batting .353 through his first four games this season, though he has yet to notch an RBI. Seattle's number-three hitter for the time being, Bradley should be given plenty of chances to produce runs this season. It just remains to be seen if he will make the most of them after posting a .641 OPS in 2010.

Fri Mar 18 201119:24Bradley homers off Daniel Hudson
Milton Bradley hit a two-run homer off of Arizona's Daniel Hudson in the third inning on Friday afternoon.
It was the volatile outfielder's first home run of the spring. Ejected from a game just yesterday, there's no reason to believe Bradley won't be as big of a headache as he's ever been this year. That being said, it's hard to imgaine he'll post an OPS as poor as the .641 one he put up last season.

Thu Mar 17 201104:11Bradley ejected early against Brewers
Milton Bradley was ejected in the third inning of Wednesday's game against the Brewers after arguing a called third strike.
The perennially troubled Bradley actually is having a great spring, hitting .348/.423/.522 in 23 at-bats. The offensively anemic Mariners probably will need his bat this season, and so thus far they have been willing to put up with his behavior, on the field and off.

Fri Mar 4 201109:56M's Bradley threw glass table at wife on NYE
According to RadarOnline.com, Milton Bradley threw a glass coffee table at his wife during an argument on New Year's Eve while the couple was in New York City.
Bradley's wife filed a restraining order against him soon after the incident. "The glass shattered on my head and I started to bleed," Monique Bradley stated in a court-registered filing. "As soon as Milton saw me bleeding, he started crying and begging me to forgive him. He stated that he lost it and that he would kill himself if I left him. I did not know what to do." She is now seeking a divorce.

Tue Mar 1 201118:01Mariners' Bradley goes 3-for-3 in victory
Milton Bradley went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBI Tuesday to lead the Mariners to a 5-4 win over the Rangers.
The Mariners have stuck Bradley in the third spot in the order in both of his appearances, and he's responded by going 4-for-6. If he keeps it up, he could open the year as the team's starter in left field, with Michael Saunders potentially returning to Triple-A.
Sat Feb 12 201109:48Bradley won't necessarily not be charged
Frank Mateljan, a spokesman for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office, said Milton Bradley has not been cleared of anything and could still be charged for threats that he allegedly made against his wife.
Bradley and his wife will be given the opportunity to settle the matter in a private hearing on March 9. However, if they're unable to do so, charges could still be filed. It still sounds likely that the outfielder/DH will avoid criminal charges, but he's not out of the woods just yet.

Fri Feb 11 201115:45Bradley won't be charged with felony threats
Milton Bradley will not be charged for threats that he allegedly made against his wife in January.
Bradley and his wife have apparently agreed to work out the matter outside of court. The 32-year-old is scheduled to report to Mariners camp next week and will be competing for at-bats at designated hitter this season with Jack Cust. Neither will carry much in the way of fantasy value.

Wed Feb 9 201113:34Bradley has court date on March 9
Milton Bradley is scheduled for a March 9 hearing with the Los Angeles City Attorney's office in regards to a felony charge for threatening his wife.
Bradley was originally scheduled to be arraigned yesterday, but the court date was canceled. He and his wife will now be interviewed and advised about domestic violence issues on March 9. From there, officials will decide whether or not to proceed with the case. Bradley is currently preparing for spring training and is expected to arrive on schedule along with the rest of the M's position players.

Tue Jan 25 201116:52M's plan to Bradley to compete for a job
Mariners general manager Jack Zduriencik said Tuesday that the club plans on Milton Bradley "competing for a job" during spring training.
Pretty much what we expect him to say at this point. Bradley has a court date scheduled for February 8 in regards to his arrest on a felony charge for allegedly threatening a woman, but Zduriencik refused to comment on the matter, simply saying, "he's a member of the organization." Bradley's roster spot was on thin ice even before the incident, so if he doesn't perform up to snuff during spring training, the Mariners may just eat his $12 million salary for this season, anyway.

Wed Jan 19 201101:42Mariners GM speaks on Milton Bradley's arrest
Declining to share specifics about Milton Bradley's arrest, Mariners GM Jack Zduriencik said in the statement, "We are aware of the situation and take it very seriously. We are in the process of determining the full circumstances of what occurred today."
Bradley has not been a paragon of virtue in recent years, sparking controversy on four different teams the past four seasons. At this early stage, it is anyone's guess how the Mariners will act on this matter. In weighing its impact on your upcoming fantasy draft, keep in mind that Bradley is expected to compete for playing time with DH Jack Cust and OF Michael Saunders.

Tue Jan 18 201121:24Bradley arrested for making criminal threat
The LAPD confirmed to Geoff Baker of the Seattle Times that Milton Bradley was arrested for violating California penal code section 422, which involves making a "criminal threat."
The specific reason why Bradley was arrested isn't yet clear, so it would be wrong to jump to any conclusions here. However, whether the Mariners end up having to pay his salary this season or not, they have more reason than ever to simply cut ties with him.

Tue Jan 18 201121:07Milton Bradley arrested on felony charge
According to King 5 Sports in Seattle, Milton Bradley was arrested on a felony in Los Angeles County.
We're still awaiting more details, but one would think this would finally be enough to void the rest of his contract. The troubled Bradley is still owed $12 million for the 2011 season. Stay tuned for more information as it is made available.

Wed Dec 8 201021:17Wedge: Bradley to play multiple spots in 2011
Mariners manager Eric Wedge said Milton Bradley will play multiple positions in 2011.
"Milton's going to be a guy who's obviously going to do some DHing for us, but also bounce in the outfield," Wedge said. "Milton can play left field, right field. Obviously, being a switch-hitter, he gives us great options there from both sides of the plate. The health issues for Milton are the biggest question. So, we're going to do the best we can to be as productive as we can offensively." The Mariners will officially announce Jack Cust's signing later this week and it appears that Bradley will be used as a platoon guy to rest the designated hitter Cust and left fielder Michael Saunders.

Tue Nov 16 201018:16M's plan to keep Milton Bradley
Mariners general manager Jack Zduriencik said that Milton Bradley (knee) is "ready to go" both mentally and physically.
Spoken like a true general manager. Zduriencik also said that Bradley and new Mariners manager Eric Wedge are past their differences and that he plans on using the volatile talent in either left field or designated hitter next season. He can try to sugarcoat it as much as he wants, but we all know that he would be happy to trade him. Problem is, Bradley is still owed $12 million next season.

Sun Sep 12 201013:16Bradley officially shut down
The Mariners have officially shut down Milton Bradley (knee) for the season.
The M's had been holding out hope that Bradley, who had left knee surgery in mid-August, could return before the end of the season, but it was always likely he wouldn't play again. He ends his disappointing season in Seattle hitting .205/.292/.348 with eight homers and 29 RBI.

Tue Aug 17 201017:18Bradley undergoes knee surgery
Milton Bradley is out 4-6 weeks after undergoing surgery on his left knee Tuesday.
Bradley underwent surgery to repair a lateral tear in his meniscus. He could return before the end of the season, though we're not expecting much. The Cubs picked up some of the tab on Bradley, but the Mariners still owe him a sizable chunk of change next season.

Sat Aug 14 201017:25Mariners' OF Bradley (knee) to have surgery
Shannon Drayer of ESPN710 in Seattle is reporting that Milton Bradley will have arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Tuesday.
In an up-and-down career, 2010 will go down as Bradley's worst, which is saying something. Some of the blame can be attributed to striking out more and walking less than he had in any season since 2002, but his attitude and home park probably didn't help matters. He may again be a waiver pickup in deeper leagues at some point in his career, but for now he's a dropper because he'll most likely miss the rest of the season.
