Hamilton has picked up significant run in four consecutive games due to injuries to Minnesota's frontcourt, during which he averaged 14 points (on 51 percent shooting), 7.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.8 blocks, and 1.3 steals in 33 minutes. However, his status will now be in question for Thursday's game in New York.

Hamilton saw a rare start Sunday with Kevin Garnett and Nikola Pekovic both out. He played in 37 minutes and scored nine points (4-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt) in addition to grabbing 10 boards and dishing out six assists.

This was Hamilton's first start of the season for the Timberwolves after he was claimed off waivers by the team March 5. In his past three games, he's averaging 13.7 points and 7.7 rebounds.

He was acquired by the Timberwolves last week, and has managed to post two consecutive strong performances -- averaging 16.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.5 steals, 2.5 blocks, and 0.5 three-pointers made during that span. At this point, he should be considered a compete shot-in-the-dark, as it's unclear how the Timberwolves will use him moving forward. With an ailing Nikola Pekovic (ankle), owners in deep leagues may want to roll the dice on the "poor man's" Kelly Olynyk.

Hamilton scored four points with two rebounds in nine minutes in Monday's loss to the Clippers.

It was Hamilton's debut with Minnesota after being claimed off waivers from New Orleans. It looks like he'll get a trial off the bench the rest of the season, but don't expect many minutes.

Hamilton is still bothered by a quad contusion he suffered last week. The Heat's next game is Thursday against the Cavs. Hamilton has started five games this season, averaging 5.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 0.8 steals in 23 minutes per game. Given his lack of production with increased opportunity early this season, it's hard to imagine Hamilton carving out a big enough role to be of use in standard leagues unless the Heat suffer a plethora of injuries.
