Mon Mar 28 201107:12Nenad Krstic rebounds after poor first half
Despite a poor first half in which he was singled out in front of the roster for poor defensive rotations by coach Doc Rivers, Nenad Krstic rebounded to finish the game in double figures.
Krstic's eleven points represents the first game in six that he's broken double figures. The fact that double-figures is noteworthy for him gives you an idea of what his upside is like.

Tue Mar 22 201101:12Krstic scores seven points on Monday
Nenad Krstic scored seven points on 3-of-5 shooting with four rebounds and no other statistics on Monday.
Eat your heart out, Kwame Brown. Shaq still doesn't have a firm timetable for his return, so Krstic will continue to start and mix a good game every once in a while with a bunch of these. He's only for those desperate at center looking for a guy with somewhat guaranteed minutes.

Sun Mar 20 201101:40Krstic held scoreless in 27 minutes vs. NO
Nenad Krstic had an awful game on Saturday, going scoreless on two field goal attempts with four rebounds, one assist, and two steals in 27 minutes.
For the desperate, Krstic can be a viable option due to the Celtics' four-game week and the likelihood that Shaq gets eased back in this week, assuming he returns. The downside, however, is the capability he has for a night like this at any given time.

Wed Mar 16 201122:28Krstic plays better in win over Pacers
Nenad Krstic had 11 points, seven boards and a block on Wednesday.
He had just six points and two rebounds in his last one, so this was good to see. However, once Shaq returns, and he's getting close, Krstic should return to a bench role and be dropped in fantasy. His hot streak is over, either way.

Mon Mar 14 201123:49Krstic held to six points in loss to Nets
Nenad Krstic hit the brakes on Monday with just six points on 3-of-6 shooting with two rebounds and no other statistics in 19 minutes.
Big Baby went off for 16 points and 14 boards, and it's possible that Doc Rivers will opt to use Baby more as he gets healthy, at Krstic's expense. Krstic wasn't the greatest asset while he was producing, and owners shouldn't have any qualms with dropping him for a hot free agent.

Sun Mar 13 201120:38Krstic posts second straight double-double
Nenad Krstic had 11 points and 14 rebounds Sunday for his second straight double-double.
With both O'Neals sidelined by injury, Krstic is flourishing. Over his last six games, the former Thunder starter is averaging 14.6 points, 8.5 rebounds and 0.5 blocks. The problem is that Shaq will be back soon and Krstic gets no assists or real defensive numbers. He's a low-end add.

Fri Mar 11 201121:58Krstic has big night, but Celtics lose
Nenad Krstic hit 6-of-15 shots in another start and finished with 16 points and 15 rebounds in Friday's loss to the Sixers.
That's two straight L's for the Celtics, but Krstic looks like the real deal if you want to pick him up. Just know he'll take a hit if and when one of the O'Neal boys returns.

Thu Mar 10 201100:14Krstic scores 20, but Celtics lose to Clips
Nenad Krstic had 20 points, nine rebounds, a steal and a block in 38 minutes of Wednesday's loss to the Clippers.
He and DeAndre Jordan had a fun offensive battle tonight, which we may never type into these pages again. Krstic is playing well enough to be owned and used in many leagues, but Shaquille O'Neal is eventually going to return to action. The Celtic saw Rajon Rondo, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett all joining Krstic with solid lines tonight, making the Clippers' win that much more impressive.

Nenad Krstic scored 11 points on 3-of-5 shooting with six rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block in 26 minutes on Friday against the Warriors.
If you're in need of a big man give him a look, as he has been putting numbers up like this on most nights, though the blocks and steals are his first since arriving in Boston.

Tue Mar 1 201101:48Krstic plays 30 minutes at center for BOS
Nenad Krstic played 30 minutes in another start at center for the Celtics on Monday, scoring 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting with five rebounds and no other statistics.
Give him a look if you're desperate at center, as he should get as many minutes as he can handle for the foreseeable future, and will border on having low-end fantasy production.
Sun Feb 27 201101:31Nenad Krstic starts at center for Celtics
Nenad Krstic started at center on Saturday and had nine points and six rebounds, all on the offensive end, in a win over the Clippers.
The six offensive boards were a season high for the Celtics, but he didn't have one on the defensive end. He's worth a look if you're desperate at center, but Glen Davis, who struggled in 33 minutes tonight, might be a better pickup.
Sat Feb 26 201117:37Krstic will start for Celtics on Saturday
Nenad Krstic will start for the Celtics on Saturday.
Krstic gives Boston a healthy center who can knock down mid-range jumpers, which is all they can ask for until Shaq (and eventually Jermaine O'Neal) return to action. Despite the starting gig, it's hard to see Krstic having significant value.

Thu Feb 24 201117:15Nenad Krstic sent to Celtics in trade
Nenad Krstic was traded to the Boston Celtics as a part of the Jeff Green/Kendrick Perkins deal.
It's unclear who will be the starter in Boston at this point. Should Krstic step into a starting role it will probably only last long enough for the Celtics to sign one of the many buyout players about to be dumped.
Sat Feb 5 201102:39Krstic (foot) returns to action on Friday
Nenad Krstic (foot) returned to action on Friday, playing just 12 minutes on his way to four points on 2-of-2 shooting with two rebounds and a steal against the Suns.
It would have been surprising to see him play more against such an up-tempo team, as he returned rather quickly to being the foil for owners of Serge Ibaka.
Sat Feb 5 201102:19Nenad Krstic returned to action on Friday February 4
Nenad Krstic returned to action on Friday February 4.
Fri Feb 4 201120:05Krstic (foot) to play on Friday vs. Phoenix
Nenad Krstic (foot) will start at center on Friday against the Suns.
For a player of his size to get the nod against a fast-paced Suns team, this indicates that his MRI went well and that he's fairly healthy. Serge Ibaka's owners should use him as they normally would, although a slight upgrade given the opponent is also in order.

Thu Feb 3 201111:57Krstic headed for MRI
Nenad Krstic is set for an MRI on his right foot Thursday.
Krstic is extremely injury prone, so this foot sprain is a real concern. If he were to miss time, Serge Ibaka would be locked into 28-30 minutes nightly as a starter.

Thu Feb 3 201100:55Nenad Krstic leaves with foot sprain
Nenad Krstic suffered a right foot sprain in the third quarter Wednesday and did not return.
He'll be re-evaluated Thursday and owners of Serge Ibaka may awake to news that Ibaka will be starting for the next several games.
Thu Jan 13 201123:48Krstic holds his own against Howard
Nenad Krstic held his own against Dwight Howard on Thursday, scoring 16 points and getting 11 boards. Not bad at all considering he only played 23 minutes.
This was his first double-figure rebounding game of the season, and the fact that he did it in so few minutes and against Howard is a bit remarkable. Don't rush out to grab him, because he has been a useless fantasy performer all season.
