Sat May 24 201416:14Perry Jones coming into starting lineup?
Coach Scott Brooks said he could make a change to the starting lineup.
The first thing that comes to mind here would be Serge Ibaka coming back at power forward in place of Nick Collison. Another likely scenario would be Perry Jones stepping in as the starting shooting guard or even Caron Butler. Thabo Sefolosha is having a disastrous series and he could even see less than his 10 minutes from Game 2.

Wed May 21 201423:32PJ3 gets some extra run in place of Thabo
Perry Jones III played 24 minutes vs. the Spurs on Wednesday, scoring two points with four boards and one block.
Thabo Sefolosha started both halves, but played just 10 minutes. Clearly, coach Scott Brooks has no idea what to do with his lineups and he even went with a frontcourt of Steven Adams and Kendrick Perkins for a bit tonight. Brooks has been an easy target in his career for misplays on matchups, but the loss of Serge Ibaka shows their lack of depth.

Fri Mar 14 201409:23Perry Jones III heads to the pine
Perry Jones III came off the bench in Thursday's win over the Lakers.
Jones had started five straight games in the wake of Thabo Sefolosha's place, but coach Scott Brooks wasn't happy with his defense. That's where Roberson excels. Jones came off the bench for seven points and five rebounds against the Lakers, leaving the Thunder's two-guard spot as a fantasy black hole.

Tue Mar 11 201418:37Perry Jones III to start at SG vs. Rockets
Perry Jones III will start again at SG vs. the Rockets on Tuesday.
Caron Butler has been playing well off OKC's bench but coach Scott Brooks will keep Jones as a starter to check James Harden defensively. In six starts this season, Jones is averaging 5.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 21 minutes per game.

Thu Mar 6 201423:53Perry Jones fails to score in 11 minutes
Perry Jones III started again on Thursday, but played just 11 minutes and didn't do anything except miss both of his shots.
Caron Butler got hot off the bench and finished with 14 points in 29 minutes, which means Jones should be thrown back to the waiver wire if you picked him up on a flier.

Thu Mar 6 201417:03Perry Jones III not losing ground as starter
Perry Jones III has played 25.5 minutes per game as the starter for the Thunder in the last two games without Thabo Sefolosha.
It was a seamless fit for the Thunder with PJ3's excessive wingspan helping offset the loss of one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA. His team isn't drawing up plays for him and only three of his 12 shots in the last two games have come from outside of 16 feet, so Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook aren't really kicking the ball out to him. Fantasy owners can ignore him for the most part and the arrival of Caron Butler doesn't help his case for minutes.

Mon Mar 3 201411:40Thunder SG position 'fluid' for coach Brooks
Thunder coach Scott Brooks confirmed on Sunday that the SG position will remain "fluid" in the wake of Thabo Sefolosha's 4-6 week absence.
Perry Jones III started on Sunday but may not stick, as he faces competition from Jeremy Lamb, Reggie Jackson, newcomer Caron Butler, and even Andre Roberson. In most instances fantasy owners should delay any bold waiver wire claims until the dust has settled.

Sun Mar 2 201417:28Perry Jones III starting w/ Sefolosha out
Perry Jones III will start for the Thunder on Sunday due to Thabo Sefolosha's absence with a strained calf.
Sefolosha is expected to miss 4-6 weeks and we'll be keeping a close eye on how coach Scott Brooks divvies up his minutes. Jones averaged 5.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals in two starts at SF earlier this season and fantasy owners should take a wait-and-see approach to his value, since it's conceivable that he'll soon return to the bench in favor of Reggie Jackson, Caron Butler or Jeremy Lamb.

Sat Jan 25 201400:39Perry Jones gets 32 minutes in start vs. BOS
Perry Jones got the start at small forward in place of Kevin Durant (shoulder) on Friday, playing 32 minutes for 10 points, four boards, two assists and three steals.
It was an encouraging game for Jones in the third start of his career. Durant is not expected to miss much time, so there's very little reason to add Jones in most formats.

Wed Jan 8 201402:31Perry Jones doesn't score in start
Perry Jones III did not score in his start against the Jazz on Tuesday.
He added just three boards and missed his only shot attempt. Jones started at power forward with Serge Ibaka (illness) out, but he didn't really do much to earn playing time in the future.

Sun Nov 24 201321:30Perry Jones nears career-high w/ 13 points
Thunder PF Perry Jones scored a season-high 13 points during Sunday's victory, and he made all three of his 3-point attempts in 19 minutes off the bench.
This anomaly can be ignored for fantasy purposes -- with the Thunder walloping the Jazz by 20+ points throughout the second half, Jones got extra opportunities down the stretch.

Fri Oct 25 201319:21Thunder pick up third-year option on PJ3
The Thunder used their third-year option on Perry Jones III on Friday.
PJ3 is a small forward for the Thunder, which is not exactly an area of weakness for their team. Jones will get just $1.1 million next year, so it was an easy decision for the Thunder. He's off the fantasy radar, though.

Sat Jul 6 201319:50Perry Jones (infection) doubtful for Orlando
Thunder forward Perry Jones III is unlikely to participate in the Orlando Summer League this week due to a minor oral infection.
He may return to action late in the week, which would be a positive from OKC's evaluation and development standpoint. Jones is "in the mix" for a bigger role with Kevin Martin gone, but even his numbers in the D-League last season suggest fantasy irrelevance -- 13.4 points on 44.4 percent FGs and 68.3 percent FTs, 6.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists.

Wed Apr 17 201322:18Perry Jones scores career-high 14 points
Perry Jones had career highs with 14 points and nine boards in 39 minutes against the Bucks on Wednesday.
His previous career high in scoring was on February 27 with nine points and he got plenty of burn with Kevin Durant out. He won't be on the radar as long as Kevin Durant is healthy.

Wed Jan 16 201323:26Perry Jones scores season-high six points
Perry Jones scored a career-high six points to go with three rebounds, two assists and one block in 14 minutes against the Nuggets on Wednesday.
He did his damage in garbage time and there's really nothing to see here. Jones will need a few players to miss time in order to have an impact in fantasy leagues.
