He seems poised for a similar role in 2015-16.

Green averaged 11.9 points (42% FG, 35% 3Pt, 83% FT), 1.9 three-pointers, 1.2 assists, 2.5 rebounds, and 0.6 steals in 20 minutes per game for 74 regular season games in 2014-15. He is an unrestricted free agent this summer.

Green came off the bench for the Suns, playing behind Goran Dragic, Isaiah Thomas, and Brandon Knight throughout the season. Despite Dragic and Thomas getting traded, along with Knight's season-ending injury, Green failed to earn himself a starting role on the Suns' roster. Green's productivity could change if he moves in free agency, but as a bench player, his value is limited for fantasy use.

Green said Monday that he hopes to return to Phoenix next season, the Arizona Republic reports. "I do want to come back," Green said. "I think they do want me back, too ... I just talked to Lon (Babby, president of basketball operations). It was a good conversation so I'm a little positive about that."

Green, who turned in a career season in 2013-14, followed up with a less-than-stellar 2014-15 campaign in which he shot just 41.6 percent from the field and 35.4 percent from three. However, in only 19.5 minutes per game, Green managed to finish seventh in the league in scoring among reserves (11.9 points per game). Given the somewhat rocky season, it was assumed Green and the Suns would part ways this offseason - Green is an unrestricted free agent - but it now appears the two sides may look to come to a new agreement.

Green had been dealing with a lower back injury, but did not miss any games due to the ailment. It appears he's fine moving forward. He's averaging 19.4 points and 2.6 threes over the last five games and should be considered a solid standard league option.

Green has seen extra minutes off the bench in the last three games and has scored a total of 69 points and 10 three-pointers. If that is what you are after then pick him up and ride the hot hand.

Green is going on one of his nice scoring stretches. He put up a team-high 15 points in 22 minutes Tuesday in the Suns' blowout loss to the Hawks.

Green was the only Suns player to score in double-digits Tuesday. It was a brutal game from the Suns. Green has scored in double-digits in three of his last four games, but he's still only playing about 20 minutes per night off the bench. While there will be a lot of people rolling the dice with Green in daily games, it's probably best to avoid him unless the team decides to give him more run over the final games. In general, a player should be getting at least 26 minutes in a game if they're going to be able to reach value for daily games.

Green scored 13 points (6-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt) with two rebounds and a steal in 19 minutes off the bench Monday.

He's fallen into Suns coach Jeff Hornacek's doghouse this month, but got some extra court time in a blowout loss to the Blazers and was able to contribute some modest fantasy production. Unless further injuries hit the team's backcourt though, don't expect Green to get consistent minutes as the Suns close out their schedule.

Green is the favorite to start Monday against the Heat if shooting guard Brandon Knight (hip) doesn't play.

Through four games as a starter this season, Green has averaged 12.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.0 steal, and 2.3 three-pointers in 27 minutes per game. While these figures are relatively low, in the one game Green played against the Heat this season, he put up 19 points in 21 minutes, well above his season average (12.2 points). Knight left Saturday's game with a hip pointer after playing 17 minutes and was not able to return. He is questionable for Monday's game.
