Wed May 11 202212:46Austin Riley Loses Arbitration Case

The 25-year-old right-handed slugger is hitting only .237 (27-for-114), but he has given his fantasy managers a very respectable seven home runs, 14 RBI, 16 runs scored and one stolen base in his first 30 games this season. Wed Apr 20 202213:04Austin Riley Placed On Paternity List
The Atlanta Braves placed third baseman Austin Riley on the paternity list on Wednesday and recalled infielder Travis Demeritte from Triple-A Gwinnett in a corresponding move. Although Riley is hitting just .214 in the early going, he does have two home runs, four RBI and two multi-hit games in his last two contests, so he'll step away in the middle of a mini hot stretch. Riley has been playing third base regularly and hitting in the three-hole behind Ozzie Albies and Matt Olson.
