Wed Feb 15 201212:56New Orleans Hornets sign Solomon Jones
Hornets signed F/C Solomon Jones to a 10-day contract.
Jones will serve as depth on a banged-up Hornets team and not much more than that. He had spent part of this season with the Clippers previously.

The Hornets will sign F/C Solomon Jones to a 10-day contract on Wednesday, a source tells the New Orleans Times Picayune.

Tue Feb 7 201213:35Solomon Jones waived by L.A. Clippers
Clippers waived F/C Solomon Jones.
Jones was not needed now that Kenyon Martin is in the fold, and the team let him go before having to guarantee the rest of his contract this season. He should garner some interest around the league from teams who need depth in the big man department.

Tue Jan 3 201214:30Clippers sign F/C Solomon Jones
Updating an item from earlier in the day, the Clippers signed former Pacers' big man Solomon Jones on Tuesday.
Jones' deal will be a make-good contract, and become final once he passes his physical. The Clips are still waiting on Reggie Evans to get healthy, so Jones may get some run as a back-up big early on, but he won't hold any long-term fantasy value.

Tue Jan 3 201208:31Clippers set to add Solomon Jones to roster
The Clippers will reportedly sign Solomon Jones to a non-guaranteed one-year contract on Tuesday.
The Clippers have been looking for some length off the bench behind DeAndre Jordan. Reggie Evans is hurting, and Jones should see some minutes as a reserve. Regardless, he won't have any fantasy value.

Mon Dec 13 201023:53Solomon Jones gets 28 minutes
Solomon Jones got 28 minutes of run on Monday, scoring two points on 1-of-4 shooting with seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block.
He's just being used to punish Roy Hibbert for his poor play. Even if O'Brien wanted to really punish Hibbert by playing Solo 40 minutes per game, he probably wouldn't have any fantasy value.
Fri Dec 10 201010:09Pacers, Suns discuss trading big men
The Pacers have had informal talks about trading Solomon Jones to the Suns in exchange for Earl Clark.
The move would give Indiana more scoring punch at PF, while saving Phoenix $200,000 and giving them greater frontcourt depth. Even if this happens, it won't have any serious fantasy implications.

Sat Dec 4 201004:18Solo Jones getting run for Pacers
Solomon Jones had five points, six rebounds, a steal and two blocks on Friday.
The Pacers don't have anyone really effective at backing up Roy Hibbert, so Jones is getting some run. Keep an eye on him.
Tue Nov 23 201006:06Solo gets a career-high 10 rebounds
Solomon Jones snagged a career-high 10 rebounds on Monday against the Heat, and also chipped in with four points on 2-of-4 shooting, one steal, and one block in 20 minutes off the bench.
He had nine rebounds on the year entering tonight, and since his rebounds get reported sarcastically on Twitter each time they happen, we're surprised he wasn't a trending topic tonight. Needless to say, he has practically no chance of having fantasy value.
Mon Nov 8 201013:14Pacers big man Solomon Jones has grabbed mere three rebounds in ...
Pacers big man Solomon Jones has grabbed a mere three rebounds in 58 minutes of action this season.
Head coach Jim O'Brien may be ready to use Tyler Hansbrough or Josh McRoberts as the team's backup center if Solo's rebounding doesn't improve soon. A shift in minutes to Hansbrough or McRoberts would be good news from a fantasy perspective, since Jones isn't offering value anyway.

Thu Oct 28 201015:43Solomon Jones (elbow) out on Friday
Pacers big man Solomon Jones (elbow) isn't expected to play at Charlotte on Friday.
Veteran Jeff Foster will backup Roy Hibbert at center in the meantime, though neither Jones nor Foster has fantasy value in average leagues. Consider Solo day-to-day.

Mon Oct 25 201010:13Pacers have to trim one player today
The Pacers have 16 players under contract and have been trying to pull off a two-for-one trade to avoid having to cut anyone.
They only have until 6pm on Monday, but so far haven't had any luck trying to package Dahntay Jones and Solomon Jones. If they don't cut rookie Magnum Rolle his contract will become guaranteed for the season.
