Antawn Jamison finally had his exit interview with GM Mitch Kupchak on Thursday, a source told ESPN Los Angeles.
No matter how it's spun publicly, Jamison won't be back with the Lakers next season. He clashed with Mike D'Antoni, never lived up to the hype and averaged a measly 9.4 points.

Antawn Jamison had successful wrist surgery on Tuesday, a source told ESPN Los Angeles.

Tue Apr 30 201308:28Antawn Jamison not expected back w/ Lakers
Antawn Jamison is not expected back with the Lakers next season.
Jamison skipped his exit interview with the team on Monday despite the team trying to contact him, so that will guarantee he won't return next year. He wasn't coming back on another veteran's minimum deal anyway and had clashed with Mike D'Antoni previously.

Antawn Jamison will have surgery on his right wrist on Tuesday.
It's an expected move and Jamison has been dealing his ailing wrist since March 22 expressing his discomfort just about every step of the way. He should be ready for next season, but his role is a bit unclear.

Mon Apr 29 201308:37Antawn Jamison headed to get wrist surgery
Prior to Sunday's Game 4 blowout loss, Antawn Jamison described his wrist as "bad" and plans to get surgery in the coming weeks.
Jamison has played through a ligament issue in his right (shooting) wrist for a while, and ever since he sustained the injury he was not as effective. After Jamison took a discount to try and win a title with the Lakers, it wouldn't surprise us to see him go to a team like Charlotte, close to his home, and desperate for veteran leadership.

Thu Apr 11 201301:03Antawn Jamison aggravates wrist injury
Antawn Jamison had just five points, three rebounds and a 3-pointer in 15 minutes on Wednesday, when he aggravated his wrist injury in the second half.
Jamison's wrist is in terrible shape and he'll almost surely need surgery in the offseason. And he was clearly in serious pain tonight when it got hit. The Lakers may have to shut him down until the playoffs, so watch for updates (and start looking for a replacement) if you own him.

His wrist is clearly bothering him, and will until he likely has offseason surgery, but he is starting to come on for the Lakers, as they fight for a playoff bid.

Thu Mar 28 201322:40Antawn Jamison gets 23 minutes off the bench
Antawn Jamison played through his right wrist injury and shot the ball well, making 5-of-10 from the field for 13 points with seven boards, one block and one 3-pointer in 23 minutes.
It didn't seem to bother him quite as much as it did on Wednesday and he wasn't bashful about taking shots. Jamison was using a squeeze ball to test the strength in his wrist and the training staff is keeping a close eye on him. The Lakers are thin on the bench and Jamison is worth owning in standard leagues.

Thu Mar 28 201319:00Antawn Jamison plans to play with wrist pain
Antawn Jamison says his wrist is still sore but he plans to play through the injury.
If Dwight Howard can play through a torn labrum, Kobe Bryant a severely sprained ankle and Steve Nash through a fractured fibula, then Jamison can play through a "stinger" in his wrist. Jamison is expected to be in the lineup Thursday and should see extra minutes with Metta World Peace (knee) out for the rest of the season.

Thu Mar 28 201309:12Jamison has stinger, expects to play Thursday
Antawn Jamison (wrist) suffered a "stinger" on Wednesday which forced him to sit out the final eight minutes, but he vowed to play on Thursday against the Bucks.
Jamison had 18 points (two triples) with five boards and a block, and although he was forced out of action, it doesn't sound like he plans to take any time off. Jamison played a shade under 26 minutes before going down, so a reasonable expectation for him going forward could be about 25-30 without Metta World Peace (knee) in the lineup.

Thu Mar 28 201300:43Antawn Jamison plays well off Lakers bench
Antawn Jamison played through his wrist injury on Wednesday and had 18 points, five boards, a block and two 3-pointers on 6-of-10 shooting.
He aggravated his wrist injury in the second half, but played through it. The Lakers need him more than ever with Metta World Peace's regular season over due to knee surgery, so watch for updates to see if Jamison will continue to play through it. Jamison came off the bench tonight, with Jodie Meeks starting at SG and Kobe Bryant sliding over to small forward.

Wed Mar 27 201322:05Antawn Jamison aggravate right wrist injury
Antawn Jamison was in pain and grabbing his wrist in the second half of Wednesday's game and had to depart from the game.
He suffered ligament damage to his right wrist and also mentioned that he'd likely undergo surgery after the season. It's going to bother him and since it's to his shooting wrist, his owners have every right to be concerned. Pau Gasol will be busy now that he's back.

Tue Mar 26 201301:09Jamison (wrist) plays 14 minutes on Monday
Antawn Jamison (right shooting wrist) returned to action on Monday, playing 14 minutes on his way to five points, one rebound and one assist.
Jamison hit 1-of-5 shots and normally he wouldn't be worth a look, but if Metta World Peace misses time with his knee injury it's theoretically possible he has some value. With a shooting wrist injury and plenty of question marks, though, pick him up at your own risk.

Mon Mar 25 201321:50Antawn Jamison not feeling pain in wrist
Antawn Jamison said that he doesn't have pain in his wrist when he's shooting the ball and he will play Monday.
He added that he wouldn't play if he couldn't play his style of game, so it would appear Jamison is good to go even though he has a small tear in his wrist. Pau Gasol is back, so Jamison's fantasy value takes a hit regardless of his injury status.

Mon Mar 25 201314:01Antawn Jamison going through shootaround
Antawn Jamison (wrist) is going through Lakers shootaround and is expected to play on Monday.
As expected, Jamison should be in the lineup against the Warriors despite the wrist strain. He has no plans of shutting it down, but it's yet to be determined how effective he'll be with the injury.

Sun Mar 24 201319:23Antawn Jamison (wrist) intends to play Monday
Antawn Jamison (wrist) went through a non-contact practice on Sunday and he intends to play through pain for the rest of the season.
"As long as I'm able to shoot it and put it on the ground for one or two dribbles, I should be fine," said Jamison, who added that he "should be good to go" vs. the Warriors on Monday. Previous reports suggested that he has ligament damage and will eventually require surgery, but either way he won't make a decision until the summer.

Sun Mar 24 201309:51Antawn Jamison to play through ailing wrist
Antawn Jamison has ligament damage in his wrist and will "probably" need surgery after the season, but for now he intends to play through the injury.
An MRI showed that Jamison has a small tear in his wrist, so this report doesn't come out of the blue. The Lakers are listing him as day-to-day and he'll be re-evaluted after the season, so there are no guarantees that he won't have a few DNPs down the stretch. He is averaging 10.4 points, 1.5 threes and 6.3 rebounds in March, though Pau Gasol's return is bound to diminish his role off the bench.
