Fri Apr 4 201410:47Greg Oden listed as doubtful
Greg Oden (back) is doubtful for Friday's game against the Wolves.
This will be Oden's fifth straight game sidelined. The Heat just want him to be ready to bang with the Pacers' physical front line in a potential Eastern Conference Finals matchup.

Thu Apr 3 201413:44Greg Oden is limited on Thursday
Greg Oden (back) was limited in practice on Thursday.
He did some conditioning drills and at least he's still able to make some progress. It would appear the Heat are on a schedule just to get him ready for the postseason and possibly give him around 10 minutes per game.

Wed Apr 2 201418:01Greg Oden out again on Wednesday night
Greg Oden (back) won't suit up for Wednesday's game vs. the Bucks.
Perhaps the Heat played him too much earlier in the year and hopefully Oden can make it back into the lineup come playoff time. He has no fantasy value.

Wed Apr 2 201411:06Greg Oden (back) doubtful to play vs. Bucks
Greg Oden (back spasms) was limited during Wednesday's shootaround and he's not expected to play vs. the Bucks.
Oden hasn't played since a six-minute appearance on March 26, and the only silver lining for Miami is that the injury doesn't involve his balky knees. The Heat will be happy if he can contribute in bursts during the playoffs, which says plenty about his lack of fantasy appeal.

Mon Mar 31 201417:59Greg Oden will not play on Monday night
Greg Oden (back) will not play against the Raptors on Monday night.
His back issues have kept him out for at least three games now. Oden has been a great story for coming back at all, but he won't be on the fantasy radar for a very long time.

Mon Mar 31 201411:29Greg Oden (back) doubtful to play vs. 76ers
Greg Oden (back spasms) is considered doubtful to play vs. Philadelphia on Monday.
It's not a matchup that favors Oden's style anyway, and Miami will almost certainly keep him out to protect his fragile health. Udonis Haslem and Chris Andersen should pick up a few extra minutes in his absence.

Sat Mar 29 201419:16Greg Oden still out on Saturday night
Greg Oden (back, knee) will not play against the Bucks on Saturday.
The Heat have no incentive to play him at less than 100 percent and his new back issue figures to keep him out for a while. Oden has no fantasy value.

Fri Mar 28 201418:06Greg Oden out due to a back injury
Greg Oden will not play against the Pistons on Friday due to a back injury.
At least it's not a knee injury. Oden can be left on the wire in all leagues and he should be considered questionable for every game the rest of the season.

Thu Mar 27 201400:19Greg Oden plays just six minutes in loss
Greg Oden played just six minutes for two points, one rebound and two blocks in Wednesday's loss.
It's just a guess, but had this game not taken place in Oden's home town of Indy, he may not have even played tonight.

Wed Mar 26 201409:30Greg Oden's playing time may be plateauing
Heat coach Erik Spoelstra doesn't plan to immediately increase Greg Oden's playing time, despite Oden being "the most active" he's been all season vs. Portland on Monday.
"I think he's getting in better game shape [and] the only way for him to do that is to play those minutes," Spoelstra said. Oden's 15-minute workload on Monday was a season-high and he hasn't played in back-to-back games all season, which makes sense in reality but is disastrous for his fantasy appeal.

Mon Mar 24 201410:59Greg Oden to start vs. Blazers on Monday
Greg Oden will return to Miami's starting lineup for Monday's game vs. the visiting Trail Blazers.
The sub-plot of Oden facing his former team is juicier than the fantasy implications, as he's averaging a mere 4.0 points and 4.0 rebounds as a starter this season. Udonis Haslem will head back to the bench as a result of Oden starting.

Sat Mar 22 201418:38Greg Oden out for the back to back
Greg Oden will not play on Saturday vs. the Pelicans.
It's the second half of a back-to-back set and the Heat won't be playing him every game the rest of the way. Oden has no fantasy value. Meanwhile, Udonis Haslem stepped up with 14 points on Wednesday while Oden sat out in that game, so he's worth a desperation spot start tonight.

Sat Mar 22 201401:33Oden plays 12 minutes in another start
Greg Oden (knee) started and played 12 minutes on Friday against the Grizzlies, scoring five points with two rebounds and two blocks.
It's unclear if he'll be able to play in Saturday's game and we're putting him on the injury report. Practically speaking, he has no fantasy value.

Fri Mar 21 201417:59Greg Oden is available for Friday night
Greg Oden is available to play against the Grizzlies on Friday.
He rested on Wednesday night and the Heat may get him back in the mix. While Oden sat out, Udonis Haslem had his best game of the season during a loss to the Celtics, so UD's value takes a hit. Oden playing still isn't enough to add him in almost any fantasy format.

Wed Mar 19 201418:05Greg Oden out on Wednesday
Greg Oden will not play vs. the Celtics on Wednesday.
He played 14 minutes on Tuesday and 13 minutes on Sunday, both of which are two of his most active games this season. Oden has no fantasy value in the vast majority of leagues.

Tue Mar 18 201421:59Greg Oden plays well in another start
Greg Oden started for the second straight game and had six points, three rebounds, two steals and two blocks in a win over the Cavaliers.
He actually looked very good, although the low minutes make him a real tough player to own in fantasy. But the Heat are going to continue to start him on nights when he's playing in hopes of getting him ready for the playoffs. If you don't mind some missed games, low minutes and need blocked shots in a deep league, Oden could be your guy.

Tue Mar 18 201412:28Greg Oden starting for Heat again
Greg Oden will start at center for the Heat again on Tuesday night.
Oden started against Dwight Howard and the Rockets on Sunday, but failed to score while picking up four fouls and six rebounds in 13 minutes. This will make three straight appearances for Oden and the Heat are probably just hoping they can get 20 solid minutes out of him in a few playoff games.
