This will be Oden's fifth straight game sidelined. The Heat just want him to be ready to bang with the Pacers' physical front line in a potential Eastern Conference Finals matchup.

He did some conditioning drills and at least he's still able to make some progress. It would appear the Heat are on a schedule just to get him ready for the postseason and possibly give him around 10 minutes per game.

Heat coach Erik Spoelstra doesn't plan to immediately increase Greg Oden's playing time, despite Oden being "the most active" he's been all season vs. Portland on Monday.

"I think he's getting in better game shape [and] the only way for him to do that is to play those minutes," Spoelstra said. Oden's 15-minute workload on Monday was a season-high and he hasn't played in back-to-back games all season, which makes sense in reality but is disastrous for his fantasy appeal.

Oden is going to stay on the injury report for the rest of the season unless the Heat come out and say he is going to play regularly. He has no fantasy value.

The sub-plot of Oden facing his former team is juicier than the fantasy implications, as he's averaging a mere 4.0 points and 4.0 rebounds as a starter this season. Udonis Haslem will head back to the bench as a result of Oden starting.

It's the second half of a back-to-back set and the Heat won't be playing him every game the rest of the way. Oden has no fantasy value. Meanwhile, Udonis Haslem stepped up with 14 points on Wednesday while Oden sat out in that game, so he's worth a desperation spot start tonight.

He rested on Wednesday night and the Heat may get him back in the mix. While Oden sat out, Udonis Haslem had his best game of the season during a loss to the Celtics, so UD's value takes a hit. Oden playing still isn't enough to add him in almost any fantasy format.

He played 14 minutes on Tuesday and 13 minutes on Sunday, both of which are two of his most active games this season. Oden has no fantasy value in the vast majority of leagues.

Greg Oden started for the second straight game and had six points, three rebounds, two steals and two blocks in a win over the Cavaliers.

He actually looked very good, although the low minutes make him a real tough player to own in fantasy. But the Heat are going to continue to start him on nights when he's playing in hopes of getting him ready for the playoffs. If you don't mind some missed games, low minutes and need blocked shots in a deep league, Oden could be your guy.

Greg Oden will start at center for the Heat again on Tuesday night.

Oden started against Dwight Howard and the Rockets on Sunday, but failed to score while picking up four fouls and six rebounds in 13 minutes. This will make three straight appearances for Oden and the Heat are probably just hoping they can get 20 solid minutes out of him in a few playoff games.
