Thu Apr 8 201013:20M's designate Langerhans for assignment
Mariners designated OF Ryan Langerhans for assignment.
The Mariners brought him back after non-tendering him in December, but he wasn't likely to see much playing time. Langerhans, 30, batted just .218/.311/.386 in 101 at-bats last season. He doesn't hit much, but some team could take a chance with his defense.
