Mon Oct 28 201309:50Knicks hope to add Jeremy Tyler to D-League
The Knicks reportedly hope to acquire Jeremy Tyler's D-League rights from the Warriors.
The 6'10" big man is recovering from a fractured foot and won't be cleared to play until December, but New York is hopeful that he'll emerge as a factor during the season. This says as much about the fragility of Kenyon Martin and Amare Stoudemire as it does Tyler's upside in the NBA.

Fri Oct 25 201314:11Knicks make cut on Friday
The Knicks waived Ike Diogu, C.J. Leslie, Josh Powell, Jeremy Tyler and Chris Douglas-Roberts on Friday.
Jeremy Tyler's foot injury might have cost him here and he still hasn't been cleared to play. He'll likely pop up on a 10-day at some point this year. Toure Murry and Chris Smith playing well this month helped them earn roster spots.

Wed Oct 23 201311:16Knicks may keep injured C Jeremy Tyler (foot)
Jeremy Tyler (broken foot) is still in a walking boot and won't be cleared to play for "a few weeks."
The good news is that New York seems inclined to keep him on the roster despite his injury. "We got to nurse him back and develop him and see if he can help us," said Mike Woodson. "We were high on him. Unfortunately he broke his foot. We owe him that. We got to do that. We got to wait and see."

Tue Oct 15 201316:29Jeremy Tyler could be running by end of camp
Jeremy Tyler (foot) could resume running by the end of training camp.
He has an outside shot to be the backup center to Tyson Chandler and has been impressing the team. Despite his physical tools, Tyler has been very inconsistent through is career, so nothing is guaranteed for him this season.

Mon Oct 7 201315:04Jeremy Tyler (foot) not a lock to make roster
Knicks F Jeremy Tyler (foot surgery) isn't guaranteed a spot on the roster, according to Mike Woodson, despite having a partially guaranteed contract.
Tyler has a guaranteed $100k this season and his contract has no full guarantee date, according to ShamSports.com. New York is thin behind Tyson Chandler, however, with Andrea Bargnani and Kenyon Martin as the most likely backup centers if Tyler doesn't make the squad. Tyler had surgery to repair a stress fracture in his fifth metatarsal in early September, and he may not be healthy in time for the season opener.

Thu Sep 5 201320:31Jeremy Tyler (foot surgery) out 8-10 weeks
Jeremy Tyler will miss the next 8-10 weeks with a stress fracture to his right fifth metatarsal.
He'll undergo surgery to repair the break and the timing for Tyler is horrible. He signed a two-year deal last month and he's now going to miss training camp. The Knicks are also hoping that J.R. Smith will play in the opener, so they're not having a very healthy offseason. Tyler has no value in fantasy leagues.

Tue Aug 6 201318:48Jeremy Tyler signs with Knicks
Knicks signed C Jeremy Tyler.
A 2011 second-round pick, Tyler has had cups of coffee in the NBA with the Warriors and Hawks. The 6'10/260-pounder played with the Knicks in Vegas this summer, averaging 12.8 points and 6.4 rebounds over 17.6 minutes. He'll be deep insurance behind Tyson Chandler, Amare Stoudemire, Kenyon Martin and Earl Barron if he makes the final roster.

Wed Jul 31 201309:41Knicks may bring PF/C Jeremy Tyler to camp
Jeremy Tyler is expected to join the Knicks during training camp on a partially-guaranteed minimum contract.
The Knicks are "desperate for a backup center" behind Tyson Chandler now that Marcus Camby is gone, according to the NY Post. Even if Tyler makes the regular season roster, however, he's unlikely to earn the attention of fantasy owners.

Sun Jul 14 201317:59Jeremy Tyler continues to turn heads
Jeremy Tyler shot 6-of-9 from the field for 13 points with eight boards in just 13 minutes against the Wizards on Sunday.
He received some praise from coach Mike Woodson and he's expected to be invited to training camp. Tyler was waived by the Hawks and Warriors past season, so the deck is stacked against him to be a factor in the Knicks' rotation by the time they need to put their roster together.

Thu Feb 21 201316:06Warriors trade Jeremy Tyler to Hawks
The Warriors traded F/C Jeremy Tyler to the Hawks for a second-round draft pick on Thursday.
This was a financially-motivated trade for the Warriors, who squeezed under the luxury-tax threshold by unloading Tyler and Charles Jenkins at the last minute. Tyler averaged three minutes per game in 20 appearances for the Warriors this season, and we doubt he'll have a significant role for the Hawks.

Thu Feb 21 201314:40Update: Tyler won't be traded by GSW
Updating a previous item, the Warriors are unlikely to be trading Jeremy Tyler.
The Kings had some interest in acquiring him, but it looks like that deal won't be going through. Tyler has scored just 22 points all year and is shooting 37.5 percent from the field. He was an interesting prospect before dropping out his senior year of high school to play overseas, so that might seem like a questionable call in hindsight. Stay in school, kids.
