Sat Mar 17 201221:36Shelden Williams leaves w/ shoulder injury
Shelden Williams exited Sunday's game with an apparent left shoulder injury.
Williams was clutching his shoulder is obvious pain, and the Nets can only hope this isn't a serious injury. If it sidelines him for any length of time, Kris Humphries would be even more crucial to the Nets' frontcourt survival, while Johan Petro and Jordan Williams could also emerge in the rotation.

Fri Mar 9 201221:39Shelden Williams grabs 13 rebounds on Fri.
Shelden Williams again looked comfortable in his new starting role on Friday, scoring six points while also grabbing 13 rebounds.
With both Brook Lopez and Mehmet Okur out indefinitely (and perhaps the season), Williams is going to get some serious run. He won't accumulate much in the way of scoring, but has the ability to grab double-digit rebounds on most nights. He's worth a look for those in need of help up front, and those in 12-team leagues should also keep an eye on him.

Thu Mar 8 201200:35Shelden Williams double-doubles in win
Shelden Williams had 15 points and 10 rebounds in a start at center Wednesday, playing 41 minutes.
Williams is the defacto starter with Brook Lopez and Mehmet Okur out indefinitely, which means he's worth keeping an eye on going forward. Like Atlanta's Zaza Pachulia, a starting opportunity due to injury could make Williams worth a look in deeper leagues.

Thu Feb 16 201222:33Williams nears double-double on Thursday
Shelden Williams neared a double-double with eight points on 3-of-6 shooting, nine rebounds, and three blocks in Thursday's loss to the Pacers.
Williams is only serviceable in 20-team leagues or greater, so needless to say that rules out most of the fantasy public.

Sat Feb 11 201223:00Shelden Williams plays through sore wrist
Shelden Williams hurt his wrist on Friday and came off the bench on Saturday, going scoreless with five rebounds and one block in 16 minutes.
Williams wasn't a viable fantasy option even when he was starting, so he should be ignored in all but the deepest leagues.

Tue Jan 3 201201:46Shelden Williams starts for Humphries
Shelden Williams started for injured Kris Humphries (shoulder) on Monday, scoring two points on 1-of-9 shooting with six rebounds, two assists, and three blocks in 23 minutes.
If you're desperate and in a deep league you may give him a look for his big man stats, but otherwise there's no value here.

Williams will act as depth in the second unit and is extraordinarily unlikely to accrue any sort of fantasy value.

Wed Apr 13 201122:51Shelden Williams injures ankle in loss
Shelden Williams suffered a sprained ankle on Wednesday and didn't return to the game.
The injury isn't thought to be serious, but he'll be iffy for the start of the playoffs. Ronny Turiaf is expected to start at center for as long as he's healthy.

Thu Apr 7 201118:56Williams to start at center in playoffs?
Coach Mike D'Antoni said he is leaning toward starting Shelden Williams at center in the playoffs.
Williams started on Wednesday and played just six minutes. The bottom line is that D'Antoni's starting five will be based on matchups and feel -- Williams is a liability most nights and he knows it.

Wed Apr 6 201118:14Shelden Williams starting at center Wednesday
Shelden Williams is getting the start at center on Wednesday.
Mike D'Antoni reportedly plans to rotate his centers on a matchup basis, and Williams is too unreliable to trust coming off six points and four rebounds off the bench in Tuesday's game.

Sun Mar 20 201113:48Shelden Williams to start at center for NYK
Shelden Williams will start at center for New York on Sunday, sending Jared Jeffries back to the bench.
Mike D'Antoni is never afraid to mix up his lineups and there's no telling how long this will last, but Williams remains a marginal fantasy option. In 32 starts this season, he averaged five points, six rebounds, and 0.6 blocks in 20 minutes per game.

Shelden Williams scored 13 points on 3-of-8 shooting with five rebounds, six assists, one steal, and one block in 25 minutes off the bench of Monday's blowout win.
No, the Landlord isn't coming over to collect the rent. He just had his way with a putrid Jazz team that was outclassed and injured tonight. Leave him on waivers.

Mon Feb 21 201122:50Shelden Williams traded to the Knicks on Mon
Shelden Williams is now a member of the Knicks after the Carmelo Anthony trade was finalized on Monday night.
With Timofey Mozgov and Anthony Randolph heading out of town, he could be worth watching in deeper formats. That said, he's unlikely to do much besides rebound the basketball.
Mon Feb 7 201121:05The Janitor starts for Nene against Rockets
Shelden Williams started for Nene (flu) on Monday against the Rockets.
If you're in a pinch he could be worth a look, but don't expect much more than solid rebounding numbers.
Sun Jan 30 201120:59Shelden Williams scoreless in spot start
Nuggets big man Shelden Williams was scoreless with six rebounds in a spot start for Kenyon Martin (resting knee) on Sunday.
Williams is a decent blue-collar NBA player, but as a random starter with limited upside he's of little use to fantasy owners.
Wed Jan 26 201123:20Shelden Williams scores 13 in win
Shelden Williams made a start with Nene injured on Wednesday and finished with 13 points and five rebounds in 22 minutes.
Once Nene (knee) is back you can forget about Williams, who was decent at the start of the season but has since fallen out of the rotation.
Sun Jan 16 201103:39The Janitor grabs 11 boards in spot start
Shelden Williams started for Kenyon Martin (knee, rest) on Saturday, and grabbed 11 rebounds to go with two points on 1-of-5 shooting and two assists in 15 minutes.
The Janitor cleaned the glass tonight but isn't going to get enough run consistently to matter in fantasy leagues. However, given the health of the guys in front of him and a trade possibly opening things up, we won't rule it out completely.
