Sun May 29 201109:00Zach Braddock could be back Friday
Zach Braddock (sleep disorder) will pitch for Triple-A Nashville Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before be reevaluated.
Braddock has been out since the beginning of the month with a sleep disorder and more recently dealt with a cracked fingernail that set him back a bit. "We'll see where he is," Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said. "If he's good, he could possibly join us on Friday."

Fri May 20 201111:46Braddock set for another rehab outing
Zach Braddock (sleep disorder) will make a third rehab appearance for Single-A Wisconsin on Friday.
He remains without a return date. "They've got to get this right," said manager Ron Roenicke on Thursday. However, Braddock has been eligible to come off the disabled list since Wednesday, and it's hard to believe his absence is going to extend much longer.

Tue May 3 201114:04Brewers place Zach Braddock on DL
Brewers placed LHP Zach Braddock on the 15-day disabled list with a sleep disorder.
Here's an odd one. Braddock, 23, has posted a quality 2.79 ERA and 1.24 WHIP over 12 appearances this season but is not throwing his fastball at its usual high velocity. Perhaps some rest will help him rediscover the mid-90s screamer that he showed in 2010.

Fri Apr 15 201109:04Zach Braddock dealing with velocity issues
Zach Braddock insists that he's fine physically despite dealing with velocity issues thus far.
The left-hander averaged over 93 mph on his heater last season but thus far is averaging just over 90 mph. He's given up just one run over five appearances, though, and he and the Brewers don't seem to be worried. "I really don't think there's anything physically wrong with him," said manager Ron Roenicke. "Sometimes, when you're trying to throw strikes and you aim the ball, you get a loss in velocity. He says he feels fine. The ball wasn't coming out (of his hand) that good. The last time he threw, it came out well. We'll just have to see. I don't know what his history is, if he just takes awhile at the beginning and then he finds it."

Fri Mar 18 201101:20Braddock struggling this spring
Zach Braddock has been struggling with his command, yielding eight runs in 6 1/3 innings this spring.
"Everything feels great," Braddock said. "It is just a matter of stepping it up and introducing everything at each level I keep bumping up." Brewers manager Ron Roenicke added that "We still have time" and plans to give Braddock about five more outings to get straightened out.

Sun Jul 25 201011:26Braddock to throw bullpen session Sunday
Zach Braddock (shoulder) is scheduled for a bullpen session Sunday.
The left-hander has been unavailable for the last few days due to shoulder fatigue. If Sunday's session goes well, Braddock will be ready to go for Monday. The southpaw holds a 3.54 ERA and 10.2 K/9 rate over 20 1/3 innings for the Brew Crew.

Sun May 23 201012:56Braddock called up to patch Brewers' bullpen
Brewers recalled LHP Zach Braddock from Triple-A Nashville.
Braddock may not make it to Target Field before the game starts, but he should be there by the time the Brewers would need him. The lefty has been called up to cover for an already thin bullpen that was taxed in Saturday's 12-inning loss. He was 0-0 with a 4.50 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP in 16 innings at Triple-A Nashville.
Fri May 21 201016:18Brewers won't call up Braddock
Despite rumors to the contrary, the Brewers have decided against promoting lefty Zach Braddock at the moment.
It looks like Gregg Zaun's injury cost Braddock a chance, since the Brewers already needed to free up one 40-man roster spot for Jonathan Lucroy and didn't want to make a second move at the moment. Braddock, 22, has a 4.50 ERA for Triple-A Nashville, but all eight runs he allowed came in one appearance. He has struck out 28 and walked nine in 16 innings.

Thu Apr 22 201014:23Brewers prospect Braddock dominates in AAA
Triple-A Nashville's Zach Braddock pitched two hitless innings and struck out four for Triple-A Nashville on Wednesday.
The Brewers would be crazy to give up on Mitch Stetter, but Braddock will probably be the choice next time they add someone to their bullpen. He's allowed just three hits in 7 2/3 scoreless innings for Nashville so far. Left-handed hitters are 0-for-14 with 10 strikeouts and no walks against him.
