Duncan has been getting at-bats against lefties with Grady Sizemore out, and he's hitting .306 with three homers in 36 at-bats so far this season. At age 30, there's not much incentive for the rebuilding Indians to give him regular at-bats. |

Indians recalled OF Shelley Duncan from Triple-A Columbus. |
Duncan was batting .301/.380/.500 with six homers and 34 RBI in 38 games at the Triple-A level to earn the promotion. He should see a decent amount of playing time in the Cleveland outfield with Grady Sizemore (knee) out of the picture, but it remains to be seen how he'll fare in the majors. |
