Fri Apr 1217:11Jordan Clarkson Unavailable FridayJordan ClarksonGLakersFree Agent
Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson (back) will remain out of the lineup on Friday against the Clippers. Clarkson has played just five times since the beginning of last month, leaving Utah without its third-best scorer. Keyonte George has gotten a big boost in fantasy value on Utah's backcourt over the final couple of months of the season, with Talen Horton-Tucker also recently breaking back into the rotation. With Collin Sexton (illness) considered doubtful for Friday, George and Horton-Tucker could be used even more on the offensive end.

Thu Apr 1120:29Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Likely To Suit Up On FridayKentavious Caldwell-PopeSGPistonsFree Agent
Denver Nuggets guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (shoulder) is anticipated to play in Friday's game in San Antonio. KCP has played as well as expected during the 2023-24 campaign, averaging 10.1 points and shooting 40.7% from behind the arc. He also hasn't missed much time, so the shoulder injury shouldn't keep him off the floor versus the Spurs. Unfortunately, Caldwell-Pope scored only four points in each of his previous two games against San Antonio, so DFS managers should think twice before putting him in their lineups.

Thu Apr 1118:00Jrue Holiday Cleared To Play ThursdayJrue HolidayPGPelicansFree Agent
Boston Celtics guard Jrue Holiday (knee) will play against the Knicks on Thursday. A problem with his left patella initially left Holiday questionable for the game, but he's been upgraded to available. With Boston bringing all of its guns out on Thursday, Holiday will likely have to play second fiddle. However, he must be in high spirits after just securing a four-year, $135 million contract extension for himself, and this should help his performance. The 33-year-old is averaging 9.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.0 assists for the month.

Thu Apr 1113:05Al Horford Available Against KnicksAl HorfordCHawksFree Agent
Boston Celtics center Al Horford (toe) is available to play in Thursday's game against the New York Knicks. The first-place Celtics tend to list Horford with a sprained left big toe on back-to-back sets, so look for the veteran big man to be unavailable for Friday's tilt against the dismal Charlotte Hornets. With Kristaps Porzingis' (hamstring) status remaining uncertain for Thursday's contest, Horford could be in for start at center in Boston's first unit and a considerable bump in DFS rostership if KP is inactive. In 19 games without Porzingis this season, Horford is logging 11.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2.4 three-pointers, and 1.8 combined steals plus blocks per contest. With that said, the Knicks are giving up the second-fewest DraftKings points to opposing centers this year.

Wed Apr 1022:45Dario Saric Questionable Versus PortlandDario SaricF76ersFree Agent
Golden State Warriors power forward/center Dario Saric (knee) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game versus the Portland Trail Blazers. Saric has been a solid bench player for Golden State, but he has missed the last 11 games while dealing with right-knee soreness. The Warriors would benefit from Saric's return since Draymond Green is also questionable for the game, and depth may be weakened. However, it is unlikely Saric will have much of an impact when he does return. Names like Trayce Jackson-Davis and Jonathan Kuminga will have more fantasy value than Saric, and that only increases if Saric misses another game.

Wed Apr 1020:22Al Horford Questionable Against The KnicksAl HorfordCHawksFree Agent
Boston Celtics forward/center Al Horford (toe) is questionable for Thursday's meeting with the Knicks. This injury has bothered him for at least a few weeks, and with the C's coasting to the postseason, he could get another night off to rest. With Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring) and Xavier Tillman Sr. (knee) also on the injury report, Luke Kornet may get more work than he can handle at the five. Of course, more minutes are never a bad thing concerning Kornet's DFS potential.

Wed Apr 1020:11Jrue Holiday, Celtics Agree To Contract ExtensionJrue HolidayPGPelicansFree Agent
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, guard Jrue Holiday (knee) and the Celtics agreed to a four-year, $135 million extension. The 33-year-old was traded to the Celtics before the 2023-24 campaign after spending his last three seasons with the Bucks. Although his scoring numbers have dropped significantly since last season, he remains one of the most capable defenders in the National Basketball Association. While retaining Holiday will help keep Boston competitive moving ahead, it also opens up some much-needed cap space. Unfortunately, Holiday is no longer a consistent fantasy asset, and his durability over the years has also been an issue. Still, his upside is still higher than most, and it should stay that way for at least a few more seasons.

Wed Apr 1020:03Jordan Clarkson Missing Thursday's GameJordan ClarksonGLakersFree Agent
Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson (back) is officially out for Thursday's game versus the Houston Rockets. This will be the eighth consecutive game missed by Clarkson thanks to a lingering back injury. Clarkson last played on March 25, but that was his only game played while missing 14 of 15 games. Talen Horton-Tucker has seen the biggest fantasy boost after playing 32 minutes in Utah's last game against the Denver Nuggets. The Jazz missing Clarkson, Collin Sexton, and Kris Dunn gives Tucker a strong usage rate against the Rockets in the backcourt. Keyonte George and Johnny Juzang both have higher ceilings, as well as the starting guards.

Tue Apr 915:17Kristaps Porzingis, Al Horford Out Against BucksAl HorfordCHawksFree Agent
Kristaps PorzingisFree Agent
Boston Celtics centers Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring) and Al Horford (toe) are both out for Tuesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. The first-place Celtics will give their two top big men the night off on Tuesday, with their next opportunities to take the court arriving in Thursday's battle with the New York Knicks. Porzingis is simply having his right hamstring managed, and Horford is nursing a sprained left big toe. With that said, Luke Kornet has averaged 10.0 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.4 blocks in 30.1 minutes over five games as a member of Boston's starting lineup this season and would figure to join the first unit at the five in this one. Kornet should be a chalky DFS value play despite a matchup with a Bucks club allowing the eighth-fewest DraftKings points to opposing centers.

Mon Apr 823:30Al Horford Questionable For TuesdayAl HorfordCHawksFree Agent
Boston Celtics forward/center Al Horford (toe) is questionable for Tuesday's matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks because of a left big toe sprain. Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring/rest) is also listed as questionable. However, the rest of the Celtics roster will be available on Tuesday. If both big men are unable to suit up, Luke Kornet, Oshae Brissett, and Xavier Tillman will likely see more minutes on the court.

Mon Apr 823:10Jordan Clarkson Still Out On TuesdayJordan ClarksonGLakersFree Agent
Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson (pelvis) is out for Tuesday's meeting with the Nuggets. The 31-year-old has been sidelined for 12 of Utah's previous 13 games. But it would be a miracle to see him back on the floor before the end of the 2023-24 campaign. As usual, Collin Sexton and Keyonte George will remain viable DFS options, with the duo combining for 40 points in Sunday's loss to Golden State. At the same time, Johnny Juzang, who had 27 points in that one, should continue to attract the attention of DFS managers.

Mon Apr 821:12Jusuf Nurkic Uncertain For TuesdayJusuf NurkicCNuggetsFree Agent
Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic (ankle) is listed as questionable ahead of Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. The big man was dealing with a calf issue, but now picked up an ankle injury. If he sits out, Drew Eubanks figures to move into the starting five. He hasn't exactly done much during his starts recently. Fantasy managers should be able to find a better streaming option on a 14-game slate.

Sun Apr 719:26Jordan Clarkson Out On SundayJordan ClarksonGLakersFree Agent
Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson (pelvis) won't play on Sunday against Golden State. The 31-year-old has missed 11 of Utah's previous 12 games, and with the Jazz having just four contests remaining, he likely won't be back this season. Laurie Markkanen (shoulder), John Collins (back), and Walker Kessler (nose) are also sidelined, so guys like Collin Sexton, Talen Horton-Tucker, and Keyonte George should see a noticeable bump in fantasy production.

Sun Apr 717:31Dennis Schroder Good To Go On SundayDennis SchroderPGHawksFree Agent
Brooklyn Nets guard Dennis Schroder (Achilles) will suit up for Sunday's game against the Sacramento Kings. He was listed as questionable heading into this one, and with Brooklyn not going anywhere near the postseason, there was a chance he'd be sidelined. However, Dennis Smith Jr. (hip) is now doubtful, so Schroder is a lock for all fantasy lineups.

Fri Apr 521:18Jusuf Nurkic Will Play On Friday NightJusuf NurkicCNuggetsFree Agent
Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic (calf) will suit up to meet the Timberwolves on Friday. The 29-year-old logged 31 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Cavaliers. But he popped up on the injury report because of calf soreness. However, the Suns need every win they can get, so it will take more than that to keep Nurkic off the floor. He struggled the last time he faced Minnesota, finishing with just three points. While there's a good chance Nurkic will play better this time around, the injury could limit his workload enough to lower his fantasy ceiling.

Fri Apr 516:44Robert Covington Remains Unavailable For SaturdayRobert CovingtonSFRocketsFree Agent
Philadelphia 76ers forward Robert Covington (knee) will remain unavailable on Saturday versus Memphis. He hasn't seen any game action in 2024 and last played on December 30th. The 33-year-old was supposed to return to action a couple of weeks back, but his recovery from a left knee injury appears to be taking longer than expected. Nicolas Batum and Kenyon Martin Jr. have picked up extra minutes at the forward positions with Covington out. The two could get even more action on Saturday as Tobias Harris (knee) is listed as questionable.

Thu Apr 420:22Jusuf Nurkic Uncertain For FridayJusuf NurkicCNuggetsFree Agent
Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic (calf) is listed as questionable ahead of Friday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The big man is back on the injury report due to left calf soreness. If he sits, Drew Eubanks is expected to move into the starting five during Friday's game. He'd be worth looking at as a streaming option if given the starting nod. Thaddeus Young would also see more minutes, but wouldn't be as viable of an option.

Thu Apr 409:34Robert Covington Remains Out For PhiladelphiaRobert CovingtonSFRocketsFree Agent
Philadelphia 76ers forward Robert Covington (knee, illness) will remain unavailable on Thursday versus Miami. He hasn't seen any game action in 2024 and is set to miss a 45th consecutive contest. The veteran was supposed to return to action a couple of weeks back, but his recovery from a left knee injury appears to be taking more time than expected. In addition, Covington is also currently on the injury report with an illness. Nicolas Batum and Kenyon Martin Jr. have picked up extra work at the forward positions with Covington out. The two could get even more action on Thursday if Tobias Harris (knee) can't play.

Pat ConnaughtonFree Agent
Milwaukee Bucks guard/forward Pat Connaughton and forward Jae Crowder will enter the starting lineup on Wednesday against Memphis. Connaughton will be Malik Beasley's backcourt partner, with Damian Lillard (groin) and Patrick Beverley (ankle) unavailable. Crowder replaces Khris Middleton (ankle), who's resting on the second night of a back-to-back. Both players will have extra fantasy value in a starting role. Connaughton is the more attractive piece of the two, with him having notched 10.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 7.5 assists in two previous starts this season.

Tue Apr 221:07Cody Zeller Available Wednesday Versus OrlandoCody ZellerPFBobcatsFree Agent
New Orleans Pelicans center Cody Zeller (face) is available for Wednesday's matchup against the Orlando Magic. The last time he played was March 22nd, when he registered one point and two rebounds in just three minutes. His minutes will remain limited as he plays behind Jonas Valanciunas. Zeller isn't a fantasy contributor in fantasy hoops due to his lack of time he gets on the court when healthy.
