Fri Mar 14 201422:45Tyler Hansbrough plays five minutes vs. MEM
Tyler Hansbrough played five minutes against the Grizzlies and did not score.
After an ankle injury that would not heal last month, Hansbrough is going to at least play with Patrick Patterson (elbow) out. The Raptors gave Hansbrough just 12 minutes on Wednesday, so obviously fantasy owners shouldn't care much considering his low upside.

Tyler Hansbrough only played seven minutes off the Raptors' bench on Sunday, going scoreless with one rebound.
Patrick Patterson will be out at least 7-10 days with an elbow injury, but tonight's rotation gave no indication that Hansbrough will assume his playing time. Avoid him until further notice.

Wed Jan 29 201421:56Tyler Hansbrough scoreless in six minutes
Tyler Hansbrough returned from a lengthy absence due to an ankle injury and failed to score in six minutes Wednesday.
As long as Amir Johnson and Patrick Patterson have a shot at playing, Hansbrough shouldn't have a shot at being in your fantasy lineup.

Wed Jan 29 201417:58Tyler Hansbrough on the active roster
Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) is on the active roster for Wednesday's game against the Magic.
He has been out since New Year's Day in one of the stranger injury stories of the season. His absence has allowed Patrick Patterson to get some extra burn and he didn't disappoint. Pat-Pat owners shouldn't panic yet and Psycho T can remain on the wire in most formats.

Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) won't play against the Nets on Monday.
He was expected to play today and will not give it a go. This is his 14th game out of the lineup in one of the stranger injuries of the season. Patrick Patterson will play with a mask and should get a nice chunk of minutes off the bench. Hansbrough is not worth owning in most leagues.

Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) is expected to make his long-awaited return on Monday or Wednesday.
He's been out for over three weeks due to a sprain and deep bone bruise, and he's been very cautious about returning too soon and causing a setback. Although coach Dwane Casey expects to see him in uniform, he remains a game-time decision.

Wed Jan 22 201412:18Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) sidelined yet again
Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) will miss his 11th consecutive game on Wednesday.
He either has a terrible sprain or there's more to the injury than the Raptors are letting on, but either way he's not worth clinging to in fantasy leagues. Fortunately for Toronto, Patrick Patterson and Chuck Hayes have stepped up nicely since being acquired from the Kings.

Mon Jan 20 201413:03Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) misses 10th straight
Tyler Hansbrough's ankle injury will keep him out again on Monday.
He injured himself in early January and has missed the past 10 games, during which time Patrick Patterson and Chuck Hayes have established their productivity off the bench. Hansbrough will return to a position battle, in other words, and he's not worth owning outside of very deep leagues.

Sun Jan 19 201411:30Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) unlikely for Sunday
Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) is unlikely to play in Sunday's game vs. the Lakers.
Hansbrough is nearing a return, but it seems unlikely to happen on Sunday. Even before going down, Hansbrough was not a very enticing fantasy play with rebounds being the only category he could contribute to meaningfully. With the crowded rotation at the power forward spot in Toronto, Hansbrough can safely be left on the wire in most leagues.

Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) will not play against the Timberwolves on Friday.

Thu Jan 16 201413:33Tyler Hansbrough questionable for Friday
Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game against Minnesota.
Hansbrough has missed seven consecutive games and shouldn't be owned in standard leagues at this point. His injury has opened the door for Patrick Patterson to carve out a role for himself, so Patteron owners may want to rub their lucky rabbit's foot in the hopes that Hansbrough is unable to play Friday.

Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) will miss his seventh game due to ankle soreness on Wednesday.

Mon Jan 13 201417:36Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) unlikely to play
Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) is unlikely to play on Monday vs. the Bucks.
The Raptors are playing some good ball without him thanks to Patrick Patterson. Hansbrough will likely lose minutes to Pat-Pat upon his return, so there's no reason to own him in most formats. Patterson is a solid play tonight against the Bucks.

Sun Jan 12 201413:24Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) game-time vs. Bucks
Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) practiced on Sunday and will be a game-time decision vs. the Bucks on Monday.
Hansbrough has missed the past five games, during which time Patrick Patterson established himself as a reserve big man, and it will be interesting to see how Dwane Casey handles his frontcourt rotation going forward. Psycho T has two double-digit scoring games this season and he's not an option in standard fantasy leagues.

Sat Jan 11 201417:33Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) out again
Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) will not play against the Nets on Saturday.
It's his fifth consecutive game on the sidelines due to a left ankle sprain. Patrick Patterson has really stepped up with Hansbrough out, averaging 14.3 points per game with 1.3 triples in his last four. Hansbrough's fantasy value is going to be even less upon his return.

Wed Jan 8 201418:03Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) out on Wednesday
Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) will not play against the Pistons on Wednesday.
It will be his fourth game out of the lineup for the Raptors. They did miss his presence on the glass, but Patrick Patterson has given their offense a new wrinkle as a stretch four. Patterson makes sense as a spot-start after his 20-point game vs. Indy on Tuesday.

Tue Jan 7 201418:24Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) out again Tuesday
Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) will miss his third consecutive game on Tuesday.
Patrick Patterson should get extended run in his absence and Chuck Hayes may pry his way into the rotation, but this doesn't have a profound impact on fantasy lineups.

Sun Jan 5 201417:04Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) out vs. Heat
Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) will not play against the Heat on Sunday.
Coach Dwane Casey said Hansbrough will likely meed a couple days of rest, which makes him doubtful for Tuesday's game against the Pacers -- his former team. This will be his second game in street clothes, but his playing time was dwindling with an average of just 12.8 minutes per game in his four games before the injury. Even when he's healthy, Hansbrough is only worth owning in very deep leagues. Patrick Patterson was very good in Friday's game with 18 points and will likely benefit from Psycho T sitting out.

Fri Jan 3 201417:40Tyler Hansbrough (ankle) out on Friday
Tyler Hansbrough will not dress for Friday's game against the Wizards due to a left ankle sprain.
He aggravated his ankle sprain in Wednesday's win over the Pacers and is listed as day-to-day. His minutes have really gone south over his last five, averaging 13.4 per game, so the team won't be missing him too much. Amir Johnson and Jonas Valanciunas should both see a handful of extra minutes.
