Jennings made three catches on four targets for 72 yards in Sunday's win over Atlanta.
Other than a dud against New England in Week 2, Jennings has been pretty consistent, albeit unspectacular. Meanwhile, Jarius Wright was the surprise star of the game, catching eight passes for 132 yards. Despite Wright's monster performance, expect Jennings to remain a key part of the passing game most weeks.

Jennings had five receptions for 70 yards in Sunday's loss to New Orleans.
He was targeted a team-high seven times, which is a good sign that he'll remain the top target with new quarterback Teddy Bridgewater under center.

Jennings had just one reception for four yards and was targeted just four times in Sunday's loss to New England.
It's odd that Jennings had just one reception since he's shown chemistry with Matt Cassel, but his poor day was likely mostly a product of Cassel's struggles (5.6 YPA and four interceptions).

Jennings had six receptions for 58 yards, including an eight-yard touchdown, in Sunday's win over St. Louis. He led the Vikings with seven targets.
Jennings continued a trend from last season of being productive with Cassel at quarterback. Jennings caught all four of his touchdowns last season from Cassel and was far more efficient than with Minnesota's other quarterbacks (8.7 YPA with Cassel, compared to just 6.9 YPA with Christian Ponder).

Jennings was targeted twice, but did not have a reception, in Saturday's preseason win over Kansas City.
Jennings has had a quiet preseason with three catches in three games, but there's no reason to worry as he's a veteran with a set starting job. He showed last season he can still be productive with better quarterback play and the strong play of Matt Cassel and Teddy Bridgewater in the preseason could indicate a strong rebound season for Jennings.
Thu Jul 3 201414:55Jennings 'clicked' with Cassel last season
ESPN Vikings reporter Ben Goessling said Greg Jennings "clicked with Matt Cassel" last season.
Whether is was chemistry with Cassel or simply relief from no longer seeing Christian Ponder in the huddle, something changed for Jennings when Cassel was the starter last season. He posted a 34-413-3 line in the six games Cassel started and was targeted 47 times over that span. The overall stats are misleading, though, as Jennings failed to reach 60 yards receiving in four of the six games. Jennings may have a few solid games this season, but his lack of upside and consistency make him nothing more than a bench filler in fantasy.

Sun Dec 22 201317:10Greg Jennings held to 27 yards in defeat
Greg Jennings was limited to four catches for 27 yards in the Vikings' Week 16 loss to Cincinnati.
Matt Cassel only completed 13 passes and threw for 114 yards, so Jennings was lucky to get the production he did. He'll finish a disappointing first year as a Viking with a Week 17 date against the Lions.

Tue Dec 3 201310:17Greg Jennings fares far better with Cassel
Greg Jennings has 15 catches for 202 yards with three touchdowns in 2.5 games with Matt Cassel this season.
In 8.5 games with Christian Ponder and Josh Freeman, Jennings has totaled 28 catches for 315 yards and no scores. "There's definitely a trust factor there, and Greg is an excellent route runner," coach Leslie Frazier said. "I would think maybe the veteran experience. Those guys hit it off early on back in the spring, and he really trusts Greg to be where he's supposed to be." If the Vikings want any shot at beating the Ravens on Sunday, they'll roll with Cassel. That would give Jennings a shred up upside as a WR4 candidate in Week 14.

Wed Nov 27 201314:40Greg Jennings doesn't practice Wednesday
Greg Jennings (Achilles) did not practice Wednesday.
Jennings was able to return from his Achilles' injury in Week 12, but clearly wasn't 100 percent. Even in a plus matchup, he won't be more than a WR4 for Sunday's game against the Bears.

Sun Nov 24 201318:31Jennings catches two in Green Bay return
Greg Jennings caught two passes for 29 yards in Week 12 against the Packers.
Jennings was targeted just three times in his return to Green Bay. He clearly wasn't 100 percent after missing last week's game with an Achilles' injury. Jennings dropped his one missed connection on third-and-five with 2:07 remaining in overtime. He wasn't even involved on offense for much of the first half. With shaky quarterback play, Jennings is nothing more than a WR4 at the moment.

Sun Nov 24 201309:42Report: Greg Jennings (Achilles') will play
Appearing on GameDay Morning, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Greg Jennings (Achilles') will play Sunday against the Packers.
Jennings was a surprise inactive after being listed as probable last week. He missed practice Wednesday before returning Thursday and Friday. The Vikings list Jennings as questionable for Week 12. Jennings has already said he "definitely" expects to play against his former teammates. He's a WR4 at best.

Sat Nov 23 201314:02Greg Jennings 'definitely' expects to play
Greg Jennings (Achilles, questionable) said he "definitely" expects to play this week.
Jennings is going to be active, but shouldn't be expected to be 100 percent against his former team. He's just a low-end WR4 for Week 12.

Fri Nov 22 201315:18Greg Jennings listed as questionable
Greg Jennings (Achilles') is listed as questionable for Week 12.
Jennings is tentatively expected to play, but was inactive with the same injury last week despite being listed as probable. So he's obviously hard to trust. We'd simply write off Jennings as a fantasy option against Green Bay.

Thu Nov 21 201315:01Greg Jennings back at practice Thursday
Greg Jennings (Achilles) returned to Vikings practice Thursday.
He'll almost certainly be listed as "limited." Most signs point toward Jennings returning against the Packers, but he'll likely be questionable instead of probable on Friday's injury report. Jennings shouldn't be expected to be 100 percent against his former team just seven days after his surprise inactive. He's a low-end WR4 for Week 12.

Wed Nov 20 201315:15Greg Jennings held out of practice Wednesday
Greg Jennings (Achilles) is not practicing Wednesday.
Jennings was a surprise inactive in Week 11 and is still dealing with soreness in his Achilles injury. He's hoping to return to practice Thursday and should return after missing just one game.

Sun Nov 17 201320:46Greg Jennings expects to return for next week
Greg Jennings (Achilles) expects to play in the Week 12 game at Green Bay.
Jennings said his heel was more sore than he expected when he woke up, so he sat the loss at Seattle out. That allowed Cordarrelle Patterson to rack up a season-high nine targets -- although the explosive rookie only managed a 3/28/0 line. Expect Jennings and Simpson to be the primary receivers in two-wide sets next week.

Fri Nov 15 201314:16Greg Jennings limited, but will play
Greg Jennings (Achilles) was limited in Vikings practice Friday.
Coach Leslie Frazier did confirm he expects Jennings to play against Seattle. Jennings is not a recommended fantasy option in the brutal matchup.

Thu Nov 14 201317:44Achilles' lands Jennings on injury report
Greg Jennings was added to the Vikings' injury report Thursday, getting in a limited session with an Achilles' issue.
Mid-week downgrades are never good news, but especially when they're Achilles' tendon related. Jennings hasn't spent much time on the injury report this season, but it's possible it's just a minor issue the Vikings are using as a means of limiting his reps. A WR3/4 for Week 11, Jennings' status will be updated on Friday.

Fri Nov 8 201300:31Greg Jennings has three-catch night
Greg Jennings caught three passes for 18 yards in Minnesota's Week 10 win over the Redskins.
Jennings did nothing of note until the NFL Network cameras caught him going crazy on the sideline as coach Leslie Frazier inexplicably called two timeouts during the Redskins' desperation final drive. Jennings now has just 34 catches for 410 yards through nine games, and could be playing with yet another new quarterback in Week 11 after Christian Ponder dislocated his left (non-throwing) shoulder this evening. Jennings is a mid-range WR4.
