The Mariners are expected to promote right-hander Stephen Pryor before Friday's game in Chicago.

Pryor has registered a gorgeous 0.64 ERA and 39/12 K/BB ratio in 28 innings this season between Double-A Jackson and Triple-A Tacoma. He should do well in middle relief and may work his way into a setup role.
