Athletics manager Bob Geren said that Joey Devine (elbow) could begin facing live hitters again soon.
Great news. Geren said that Devine "jumped ahead of his program," so it looks like he's well past the tendinitis in his surgically-repaired elbow. He'll likely return to the Athletics later this month or in early May.
