Detroit Pistons guard Killian Hayes (thumb) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Brooklyn Nets. He injured his thumb during Thursday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. The team is calling it a left thumb sprain, but Hayes was able to finish out the contest. Cory Joseph and Frank Jackson would be asked to split up the minutes, assuming Hayes sits out. Neither of them would have much streaming appeal, but Jackson is the better option between the two.

The Knicks agreed to acquire the former NBA MVP from the Detroit Pistons on Sunday, a person with knowledge of the details said. The Knicks will send Dennis Smith Jr. and a second-round pick to the Pistons, the person told The Associated Press. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the trade was not yet official.
