Wed Aug 25 202116:59Triston McKenzie Headed To IL
According to Mandy Bell, Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Triston McKenzie is headed to the 10-day IL with right shoulder fatigue. This comes as a major blow to fantasy managers as it appeared McKenzie was starting to turn the corner based on the fact he had posted a 1.93 ERA with 28 strikeouts across 28 innings pitched throughout four starts in August. He will likely be out until the middle of September, which could consequently end his fantasy season in many leagues.

Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Triston McKenzie threw six innings of two-run ball while allowing four hits, one walk, and striking out five in a 4-3 loss to the Oakland Athletics Tuesday night. It was another solid outing for McKenzie as he has now walked just seven batters in his six starts since returning to the rotation on July 9th while also allowing three earned runs or less in four of those six starts.
