Hilario said he will play through ankle soreness Friday in Oklahoma City, Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post reports.

Hilario has a long history of struggling with nagging ailments, but he apparently doesn't view the most recent issue as being particularly serious. If Hilario is limited in any way, it could lead to more minutes for Kris Humphries.

Hilario is still recovering from a sprained ankle suffered in Tuesday's game. It remains to be seen if the setback will prevent him from playing in the Wizards' next game Friday, but the team figures to provide an update on his health sometime beforehand.

His rebounding numbers are on pace to be his lowest of his career, and he's shooting just 47.8 percent from the floor, which is 49th among all power forwards.

Hilario will be in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Knicks, MSG Network reports.

Nene has been limited to a bench role since returning from a knee injury Dec. 10, mostly out of an effort by coach Randy Wittman to regulate his minutes. The move to the starting lineup doesn't necessarily indicate that Nene is on track for a huge uptick in playing time, but if nothing else, it makes him a more enticing speculative play in daily formats. Kris Humphries will move to the bench to make room for Nene's return to a starting role.

Hilario had his best shooting night of the season, shooting 80 percent (8-for-10) from the floor in a win over the Heat on Friday.

The Brazilian also had his second highest point total of the season, dropping 22 in the victory. He also grabbed six boards and didn't turn the ball over once in 26 minutes of action. Hilario continues to come off the bench as well, with Kris Humphries starting, but is filling the box score nonetheless in over 20 minutes per game.

Hilario came off the bench again Tuesday in a win over the Timberwolves, playing 21 minutes and scoring 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-5 FT) and grabbing seven rebounds.

This was the fourth game that Hilario has come off the bench since returning from a knee injury. The Wizards' performance certainly hasn't suffered with the Brazilian coming off the bench and with Kris Humphries starting, so this could be a permanent situation.

Hilario came off the bench again on Sunday and played a solid role for his team. He put up 10 points (5-8 FG, 0-1 FT), six rebounds, and one block in 23 minutes.

Nene has been back for three games now and can put up strong lines for a bench player. However, his upside is limited as he is entering the later years of his career and now plays limited minutes off of the bench. He's a valuable piece for a roster in need of experience, but as long as he's playing under 30 minutes he is only a fantasy option for desperate owners.

Nene took part in shootaround Wednesday morning, making him a likely candidate to return to the court after a one-game absence. it hasn't been announced whether or not he will start or if he will be limited, but he should receive a good chunk of minutes assuming he is good to go.
