Tue Jan 28 201400:04Jeremy Evans double-doubles off the bench
Jeremy Evans double-doubled off the bench on Monday against the Kings, scoring 14 points on 4-of-8 shooting (6-of-12 FTs) with 10 rebounds, one steal and one block in 20 minutes.
The Kings usually give up big numbers to opposing bigs and without two of their better defenders tonight Evans was able to feast. Owners should look toward his season long 14-18 team value (9/8 cat) for a gauge of what he brings.

Tue Dec 17 201300:09Evans struggles in just 17 minutes on Mon
Jeremy Evans scored just four points with three rebounds and no steals or blocks in 18 minutes off the bench on Monday.
Evans had been sustaining late-round value over the past few weeks despite his limited role, and with no margin for error he can put owners in a bind pretty quick. He's probably a better fit for deeper leagues but owners should give him at least another game before wholly changing his fantasy outlook.

Sun Dec 15 201300:55Jeremy Evans grabs 11 boards in loss
Jeremy Evans hit 2-of-7 shots for four points, 11 rebounds, a steal and two blocks in 21 minutes of Saturday's loss.
Evans is worth a look in most leagues right now, although he'll be inconsistent coming off the bench. He's averaging 7.4 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.4 blocks over his last five games.

Sat Dec 14 201302:19Jeremy Evans double-doubles, gets banged up
Jeremy Evans hit just 3-of-9 shots but still managed 10 points and and a career-high 11 rebounds in Friday's win.
He was also banged up after game with his right hand and right knee heavily taped, leaving him a little iffy for Saturday's game against the Spurs. We don't have a report on his injuries, but the attached picture says plenty. Evans is heating up and is a safer play than teammate Enes Kanter right now, averaging 8.6 points, 8.6 rebounds and a block per game over his last five.

Tue Dec 10 201300:12Jeremy Evans looks okay in start
Jeremy Evans played 38 minutes in his second start of the season on Monday, scoring six points with eight boards, two assists, one steal and two blocks on 3-of-9 shooting.
He was shooting 65.4 percent from the field before this game, but this was the third time in his last four games which he failed to shoot over 45 percent from the field. Evans has some decent per-minute averages based on his 8.4 points, 5.4 boards, 0.9 boards and 0.9 steals in 20.1 minutes, but he's really going to struggle covering power forwards on the defensive end to get consistent minutes once Derrick Favors (back) comes back.

Sat Dec 7 201304:33Evans (flu) nearly double-doubles vs. POR
Jeremy Evans (flu) scored 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting with nine rebounds and one steal in 18 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Despite his limited role Evans has put up some borderline numbers for 12-team formats, which means that he's a much better fit for 14-16 team formats where that type of production is usable.

Wed Dec 4 201319:34Jeremy Evans out on Wednesday night
Jeremy Evans (illness) will not play against the Pacers on Wednesday.
He's had a stomach bug since yesterday and isn't well enough to play. Evans has been very efficient in his seven games this year, shooting 72.2 percent from the field in 19.0 minutes. His absence should thrust rookie Rudy Gobert into the rotation.

Wed Dec 4 201313:44Jeremy Evans (flu) game-time vs. Pacers
Jeremy Evans (stomach flu) will be a game-time decision vs. the Pacers on Wednesday.
With Marvin Williams (heel) already doubtful to play, guys like Richard Jefferson, Alec Burks and Enes Kanter will have to step up if Evans is ruled out. If you're relying on him in deeper leagues, check for updates closer to tonight's 9pm tip-off.

Tue Dec 3 201312:21Jeremy Evans (flu) misses Tuesday practice
Jeremy Evans missed Tuesday's practice with the flu and is a game-time decision for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.
Evans has seen an uptick in minutes as of late with Enes Kanter hobbled, but is otherwise buried in a deep Jazz rotation. He's worth keeping an eye on in deeper leagues if he continues to play 20-plus minutes per game, but isn't a player 10 or 12 team owners should be looking at just yet.

Sat Nov 30 201304:45Evans continues to progress for the Jazz
Jeremy Evans continued to progress for the Jazz on Friday, scoring 10 points on 5-of-8 shooting with seven rebounds, two steals and one block in 26 minutes off the bench.
Evans has snuck into some late-round value over the past two weeks since returning, but Enes Kanter has either been out or at less than full strength and he's still a bit buried in the rotation. Consider him for pickup in 14-16 team formats, but otherwise it would be nice to see him continue along this trajectory for at least another game.

Tue Nov 26 201302:23Evans scores nine points with five boards
Jeremy Evans played 23 minutes off the bench on Monday, scoring nine points on 4-of-7 shooting with five rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Evans picked up some extra minutes with Enes Kanter (ankle) out, but it's worth noting that he was originally slated to be the team's first big off the bench in the offseason. Just keep an eye on him in deeper formats to see if he can build any momentum. Rudy Gobert logged 21 minutes and had four points, nine rebounds and one block in 21 minutes tonight.

Jeremy Evans hit all seven of his field goal attempts for 14 points with three rebounds and two blocks in 16 minutes on Friday.
Evans helped bring the Jazz back in what appeared to be a blowout, and he was actually slated before the year started to be the team's first big off the bench. Just keep one eye on him in deeper leagues to see if he can carve out a useful role.

Thu Nov 21 201301:21Jeremy Evans plays well in debut
Jeremy Evans made his season debut on Wednesday with eight points on 4-of-4 shooting to go with one board, one assist, one steal and one block in 13 minutes.
He's been dealing with a rotator cuff injury since training camp and it looks like he'll be in the rotation after playing just 5.8 minutes per game last season. Rudy Gobert did not play tonight. Evans is only worth a look in extremely deep leagues.

Wed Nov 20 201313:24Jeremy Evans (shoulder) available Wednesday
Jeremy Evans (shoulder) will be available for Wednesday's game.
This is contrary to reports after Tuesday's practice which said he wouldn't play. Evans should only get a handful of minutes off the bench and belongs on the waiver wire.

Tue Nov 19 201315:13Jeremy Evans (shoulder) won't play Wednesday
Jeremy Evans (shoulder) practiced on Tuesday but he will not return for Wednesday's game.
His return is on the horizon but fantasy owners aren't eagerly anticipating it, as his backup PF role isn't conducive to reliable value.

Tue Nov 19 201312:29Jeremy Evans (shoulder) could return Weds
Jeremy Evans (shoulder) could return to action Wednesday night.
Evans took part in a pre-practice scrimmage on Tuesday and is expected to participate in practice as well as he works his way back to action. Even if Evans is able to return for Wednesday's game against New Orleans, he is better served left on waiver wires as he won't likely see major minutes for the Jazz.
