He's been good way more often than not, though, and will take a 3.68 ERA and 1.24 WHIP into Los Angels next weekend.

Paul Maholm was shelled for six earned runs over 4 1/3 innings Saturday in a loss to the Giants.
He yielded eight total hits -- including a first-inning solo homer to Pablo Sanodval -- while also issuing three walks. Wed May 1 201321:28Maholm gets back on track against Nationals
Paul Maholm took a tough loss on Wednesday, allowing just two runs over eight innings against the Nationals.
After getting roughed up in his last outing, it was good to see the southpaw rebound with a strong showing. Unfortunately his counterpart, Jordan Zimmermann, was a little bit better, so Maholm didn't earn a win for his efforts. A two-run homer by Ian Desmond was the only blemish against Maholm on the night. He'll try to get back in the win column Monday against the Reds.
