He posted a solid 3.17 ERA and 42/22 K/BB ratio over 71 innings this past year for Minnesota. The Dodgers will use him in the eighth inning as a bridge to closer Jonathan Broxton.

According to SI.com's Jon Heyman, reliever Matt Guerrier is scheduled to undergo a pre-signing physical on Thursday in Los Angeles.

His strikeout rate has declined sharply since the start of 2009, but he has has made at least 70 appearances in each of the last four seasons.
