Fells (ankle) is unlikely to play in the NFL again, Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports.

Fells has already undergone five surgeries on his foot to fight an MRSA infection. He's been in the hospital since Oct. 2 and may need to stay a while longer. Fortunately, he's been doing much better the last few days, after his doctors found a combination of antibiotics that worked.

Woodhead rushed four times for 10 yards and caught five passes (on seven targets) for 66 receiving yards in Monday night's game against the Steelers.

Woodhead's four carries for 10 yards marked season-lows in the running game Monday, but the veteran compensated with 66 receiving yards that ranked second among Chargers players. Additionally, with five catches, Woodhead continued to prove his extra value in PPR formats, which should sustain itself over the course of the season, even if rookie Melvin Gordon commands the bulk of San Diego's backfield touches.

Allen finished with six catches (on 10 targets) for 57 yards in Monday night's loss to the Steelers.

Allen's 10 targets Monday were only topped by teammate Antonio Gates, but despite the veteran tight end returning to the Chargers' lineup, Allen was still able to register his third 10-plus target game this season. While Allen's 57 receiving yards show most of his catches came on underneath passes, his involvement as San Diego's No. 1 wideout is encouraging going forward. Through five games this season, Allen has 39 receptions (on 56 targets) for 444 yards and three touchdowns.

Gates caught nine passes (on 11 targets) for 92 yards and two touchdowns in his return from suspension Monday night against the Steelers.

Gates took little time to make his return to the lineup felt, as he scored his 100th career touchdown with a 12-yard reception early in the first quarter Monday. Then, after reminding onlookers of his unmatched and unwavering chemistry with quarterback Philip Rivers throughout Monday's contest, Gates found pay dirt again in the fourth quarter with an 11-yard touchdown reception. Overall, the 35-year-old led all players in all receiving categories Monday night, evidencing the strong impact he continues to have 13 years into his NFL career.

Rivers completed 35-of-48 passes for 365 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Monday night's loss to the Steelers.

Rivers hooked up with long-time favorite target Antonio Gates on both his touchdown passes Monday, but otherwise distributed his targets incredibly well. To that point, Rivers completed at least five passes to five different players, helping him set a season-high with 35 completions. Similarly, Rivers' whopping 365 yards marked the third time he's topped 350 yards in a game already this season. Although his lone interception Monday was returned for a touchdown, Rivers was still plenty productive and continues to rack up yardage in the Chargers' pass heavy offense.

Brown caught three passes (on six targets) for 45 yards in Monday night's win over the Chargers.

Brown was kept pretty quiet by the Chargers' defense Monday night, when the Steelers' passing game did very little until the fourth quarter. In fact, 39 of Brown's 45 total receiving yards came on one play, evidencing his limited contributions elsewhere. While Brown did tie for Pittsburgh's team-lead in targets, Monday marked the second straight game he's been held to fewer than 50 receiving yards. It's clear that Brown's production has been capped with quarterback Michael Vick filling in for Ben Roethlisberger, but he'll still aim to break his mini-slump in Week 6 against the Cardinals.

Wheaton finished Monday night's win over the Chargers with one catch (on three targets) for 72 yards and a touchdown.

Wheaton's contributions Monday were limited to one catch, but it resulted in a game-long gain, as he connected with quarterback Mike Vick on a deep pass during the fourth quarter. That play marked Wheaton's first touchdown of the season and his 72 yards were a season-high as well. Those realities evidence Wheaton's relatively modest fantasy value, which could take a hit once Martavis Bryant (knee) is ready to return.

Bell finished Monday night's win over the Chargers with 21 carries for 111 yards and a touchdown, and four catches (on five targets) for 16 receiving yards.

Bell was the hero in the Steelers' win Monday night, as he powered through the pile to score a one-yard direct snap touchdown as time expired. Along with clinching Pittsburgh's comeback victory, Bell kept the Chargers' defense on their toes with numerous inventive runs that helped the Steelers' offense overcome a disjointed passing game. In his three games back from suspension, Bell has picked up where he left off last season, compiling an impressive 302 yards on 62 carries and catching 18 passes for 107 yards en route to three total touchdowns.

Vick completed 13-of-26 passes for 203 yards, one touchdown and one interception, and rushed once for 24 yards in Monday night's win over the Chargers.

Vick's passing totals were largely boosted by his 72-yard touchdown pass to Markus Wheaton during the fourth quarter, when the veteran also led the Steelers on a late game-winning drive. While Vick should be commended for his late-game contributions, the first three quarters of Monday night's game evidenced his inexperience in Pittsburgh's offense, as most his passes were check downs to underneath receivers. Vick's only interception came on a hail mary to end the first half, so to his credit, he managed to take care of the ball even despite his limitations elsewhere. If starter Ben Roethlisberger (knee) remains sidelined going forward, Vick figures to continue to fill in at quarterback in Week 6 against a playmaking Cardinals defense.

Lenz was signed to the Texans' practice squad following a workout for the team Monday, the Houston Chronicle reports.

The Texans worked out three receivers Monday, looking for some insurance for injured wideouts Nate Washington (hamstring) and Cecil Shorts (shoulder).

Wallace missed Monday's practice with a knee injury, though he's described as day-to-day, ESPN reports.

We may not get a true read on Wallace's status until the Vikings release an injury report after Wednesday's practice. However, the ailment sounds minor.

Kendricks worked with the first-team defense as the starting middle linebacker in Monday's practice, ESPN reports.

Kendricks looks set to take over as the starting middle linebacker after the trade of Gerald Hodges and will likely stay on the field in nickel packages (where he had already been getting playing time). His tackle totals should increase which may make him a sneaky pickup in deeper IDP leagues.

Barth made a triumphant return to the Bucs, successfully converting all three field goal attempts and a trio of point-after tries in Sunday's 38-31 loss to the Jaguars.

Barth helped to quickly put the departed Kyle Brindza's inconsistencies in the rearview mirror, turning in a perfect performance in Week 5. The veteran kicker hit field goals of 35, 45 and 47 yards and was impeccable on his first three career extra-point tries from the newly-instituted distance.

McCoy amassed three tackles (one solo), 1.5 sacks, and a tackle for loss in Sunday's 38-31 victory over the Jaguars.

The Bucs' star defensive tackle continues to play through a shoulder ailment and nevertheless put heat on opposing quarterbacks. McCoy has now collected at least one sack in all but one game in 2015, and tallied his 1.5 takedowns Sunday in the closing minutes, helping to snuff out the Jaguars' last-ditch attempt at potential game-tying touchdown. McCoy will face off against the Redskins and Kirk Cousins in Week 7 after the Bucs' bye.

Okafar emerged from Sunday's win with a calf strain, which will keep him out for a month, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reports.

The recovery timetable signifies the Cardinals' hope, but they will exercise caution with one of the primary pass rushers. With a number of injuries befalling the linebacker ranks in Arizona -- reserve Kenny Demens suffered a torn ACL on Sunday -- the team inked Dwight Freeney to a veteran minimum deal, though LaMarr Woodley and Markus Golden could be the immediate beneficiaries of available snaps.

McDougald totaled three tackles (two solo), an interception and a pass defensed in Sunday's 38-31 victory over the Jaguars.

McDougald's second career pick came on a second- quarter Blake Bortles pass intended for Marcedes Lewis, and set up Jameis Winston and company in prime field position on the Jaguars' 20-yard line, a drive that culminated in a Doug Martin rushing touchdown. Nevertheless, McDougald was part of a secondary that surrendered over 300 passing yards and four touchdowns, underscoring the need for continued improvement.

David collected nine tackles (eight solo), a sack, a tackle for loss and a pass defensed in Sunday's 38-31 victory over the Jaguars.

David tallied his highest number of solo tackles in a game this season, along with registering his first quarterback takedown. The fourth-year standout has had a couple of relatively quite performances in 2015, but has been a force two out of the last three contests. David will look to continue his strong play in a Week 7 matchup against the Redskins following the Bucs' Week 6 bye.

Zuerlein missed his first field goal of the season Sunday, then missed another two in a 24-10 loss to Green Bay.

Zuerlein had been lights out heading into Sunday, but dropped his season percentage from 100 all the way to less than 65 percent with the rough day. Zuerlein is ultra-reliable when indoors, but struggles in colder conditions and is part of an anemic offense. That's certainly not a good combination for a fantasy kicker.

Laurinaitis became the first player to pick off Aaron Rodgers at Lambeau Field in three years in a 24-10 loss to Green Bay on Sunday.

Laurinaitis also picked up eight tackles in the defeat. He now has 37 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and an interception on the season.

Joyner registered seven tackle and a fumble recovery in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Packers.

Joyner is having a decent year as the nickel back, with 29 tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery. While those aren't huge IDP numbers, he's only in his second year and could be up for a starting position in the future.
